Please I’m about to reapply again because my application was recently denied, please how can I resubmit my medicals and my biometric on my new profile?
Sorry to learn that you were denied.

Your biometrics is valid for 10yrs so you don't need to submit any documentation for that.

Your medicals is valid for 1yr so just upload your e-medical sheet you were given after your medicals.

Good luck

Please Guys I need a Quick Response to this Question..When trying to Pay for an Upfront Medical what should i use as Payment Narration..Should I Put the Reference written at the Top of the Slip or Do I put My Passport Number as Narration
The narration is not important. Make your payment, generate your successful transfer receipt and print it out. That's what you need.

When going for your test go along with the print out, your international passport and your booking confirmation letter.

Please, I don't have an M.Sc yet. Will that deter my chances of getting the Canadian PR?

Please, what other requirements do I also need to put in place?

Thanks.
Hi

I don't understand what you mean by not having an MSc in relation to pr.

I'm not particularly verse about specific things to put in place in other to boost your points for pr. I know there's a self assessment on IRCC to help with that so check it out or take things one step at a time. Your local certificate don't give you as much point as a Canadian certificate would and same applies to a Canadian working experience in comparison with your local working experience.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for this great feedback.

Please, if one does a 1-year program; how long is the Postgraduate Work Permit?

Please, can one get permanent residency with a 1-year program?

Thanks.
1 yr program will get you 1 yr pgwp.

You can apply and get your pr with a 1 yr pgwp, it's only a race against time because you would have to get a job, get other requirements in place, get in the pool and wait for pr all in a yr.

It's doable because people have done it successfully.

Good luck

Alright, thanks.

Please, I intend to apply for Software Engineering Technology. It's a 3-year course with an optional Co-op.

Please, I will like to ask; how demanding are Software Engineers in Canada.

Secondly, how much Proof of Funds should one have before getting the Canadian Student Visa approved?

Thirdly, please will one show the total Tuition and axillary fees for the three-year program including the living expenses at once in the Proof of Funds before getting Visa approval?

Lastly; please what's the estimated budgetary forecast that one should have for the program?

The Tuition and axillary fees are about 16.2k CAD per session.

Thanks.
Hi

IT is in demand from my personal research just as health care related programs. Not saying other courses/programs are not in demand.

The idea of POF is almost unexplainable considering the high rate of refusals with reasons like it's not a reasonable expense, insufficient finance, not certain funds are readily available etc, However, I feel like there are factors that suggests these feedbacks.
Now the minimum POF required is CAD10,000 for 1yr, this as written on the IRCC site is for living expenses tuition costs not inclusive. What this means is that you will have to show POF that can cover your tuition and living expenses. Here is where it becomes a bit weird to understand, your program is for 3 yrs so this means you will need to show POF that should reasonably cover your tuition fees and Living expenses for three years and while providing the POF it should not look as though you will go broke or exhaust your finances just cos you want to study in Canada. If you're using a third party sponsor for instance then their ability to take care of themselves while sponsoring you would also be considered, I mean you wouldn't be expected to leave them dry because they are sponsoring you I.e If they have a family and personal obligations while sponsoring you. - in summary, your POF should show that you're merely spending funds that wouldn't cause you or your sponsor to go bankrupt.

With these I'm sure you have an idea how much you need. Add your tuition cost to your living expenses, multiply it by 3 yrs, add miscellaneous cost like flight tickets to it and there's your estimate.

Don't forget, the VO that would be incharge of your application may not the this thorough, however, don't underestimate their review when considering your eligibility. In all package your best application and submit.

Good luck.

Ok let her check and confirm she's not logged on with a wrong email Id especially if she registered more than 1 profile in IRCC. Also check she did not apply with the new portal. Lastly she can follow the link there to retrieve her application assuming that it's actually missing on her account.

A submitted application or pending application to be submitted will reflect.

Let her reconfirm if she submitted already or deleted it mistakenly.

It's becoming more realistic with the number of PPRs and refusals that have been posted here lately.

Refusals can be really saddening and PPR really great when they happen, however, which ever is the case it's only the beginning.
Take refusal as an opportunity/expo to really sit back and prepare a better if not the best application you can and give it another shot, I mean you can't have expo and still fail an exam right lol.
PPR on its own is like a nudge to get ready for the big task ahead as it doesn't end there, the end product is PR and ultimately citizenship.

For everyone that was refused, cheer up, take a month or two to reflect defer your admission timely and refire.
For those who got PPRs, big congratulations to y'all, it wasn't easy but it happened for you. Now go out there and seize your opportunities and Excel.

My fellow July applicants Una still dey ?
God no go forget us.

One love y'all.

Please house, I need your kindly advice. My wife holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) with distinction coupled with 7 years experience. Please which colleges or universities can she do her master's or PGD in public health in Canada?. Please oooooooooooooooooooooo
You might wait forever for a response to you question as no one has info about universities and their programs like Google would tell you.

First thing to do is Google, look for DLI colleges/universities in Canada,
Secondly, pick a school and look through their programs to confirm if they offer your choice of program
Thirdly, check their tuition cost, tuition deposits, deferral/withdrawal and refund policies and then you're good to go.

It's a tedious search but you will need to do it.

Good luck.

Good evening, please I am trying to sign on the family information form for my study permit( Canada ) but I can't sign or even write my full name. Please what can I do?
@Justwise
If you're using the old gckey portal, you're to validate the forms and that will automatically append your e-signature on the form, you don't need to print out the forms and sign physically.

The new portal just needs you to fill out your Info, it's not a pdf like the old Portal.

Good luck

Good evening all.

Does one need to have all these money listed here or some of it like in UK before you are given admission and subquently get a visa?

If i have between 15k CAD to 20k CAD, can i get admission in this school?

If i get admission, will i be able to get a visa with like 20k CAD?

Thanks as i anticipate your response
Hi, this is for you to bear in mind while applying to the school.

Your school fees and books for sure would be compulsory, however, your housing, feeding and transportation is up to you as this is only guide for you to know how much to budget.

When it comes to your visa application, everything here will be considered including subsequent years of study depending on your program duration, that's where your POF comes into play.

Good luck.

Yes you are right on that part, embassy have the right to verify bank statements if they sense any doubt.
But, do embassies also have the power to know how much is in your account?

Let’s say you applied for a visa and submitted your bank statement with a closing account and your application has passed processing time and you needed money for some necessary things and you used from the money in your account that you used to apply for the visa… That’s my angle of concentration in all these visa applications and delays and embassy right to check your account..

I hope I’m making sense tho…
To make it clearer, when it comes to validating your statement, info like your balance, transactions presented on the statement etc will be made available to the embassy. You don't want to try Nigerians when it comes to inflating account balances and formulating transactions that did not occur. Account statements can be edited so don't be surprised or think that the account holder will be contacted before the Bank validates the info.

Your personal info like your home address, date of birth, BVN and the likes may not be released to the embassy. Your full name and address would be on the statement anyways.

Accessing the funds in your account does not render your statement invalid or raise suspicion, you're not under obligation to stop transacting on your account because you submitted it as POF rather you're to simply ensure that the amount set aside is not grossly affected.

Hope you understand.

Amosey:
Under the banker customer relationship, it’s the duty of the bank to keep the customer account confidential. The bank will never review any information regarding it’s customer’s account to a third party without its customer consent.

I have read people say so here but I doubt any credibility in such. If a bank reviews the state of it’s customer account to a third party without the express or written consent of the customer, the bank can be held liable if sued for breach of contract.

Well, I’m not a guru!
You're right about not revealing customers info to third parties, however, this does not apply to institutions (an embassy for instance), the bank will not hesitate to validate the authenticity of your info when asked without consulting you the account holder, that's how the embassy figures out genuine and fraudulent account statements (it's usually not based on assumptions)

Thanks for your insight. Her business is a school. I have other approval documents in her name from the Ministry of Education. Must it be CAC document that has to be submitted?
CAC document shows the business is registered and recognized by the government so I guess it's important if you're going to use the business account statement to show POF.
Some people even attach tax payment receipts as supporting documents.
When you say in her name it's a bit confusing, the school would obviously not be in her name and the school's business account would not be in her name (correct me if I'm wrong). If you're using her personal account/supporting documents then it's fine if they are in her name.

Your sponsorship letter should be in the company's letter headed paper, she can append her signature if she's a director in the company and has the authority to do that.

Hello People.

Please O, I went to my sponsor today to get her CAC business cert. Her name is not on the CAC certificate. This is a business she's been managing since 1997. I'm suppose to just collect it today, scan and possibly submit my application tomorrow.

I thought the name is suppose to show on the CAC? or how will they confirm who owns the business?

Thank you all.
Do you mean her name is not listed as one of the directors or the company is not in her name?

Whichever is the case, simply ensure the account name is the name of the company. A director in the company can then provide you with the sponsorship letter and other documents.

This my suggestion, you can wait for other insights.

Good morning all,

I need help! Our passports expires March, 2024 and program duration is Dec, 2024.
We have applied for new passports since July which is yet to be out. What should we do?

Thank you
Hi, you may need to clarify the challenge/fears you have in relation to your program and your passport expiration date.

You will be issued visa considering your passport expiration date and like you said it covers for your program duration. The challenge you might face which I'm not certain would be when you would need to apply for PGwp after studies, However, I'm sure you would have received your renewed passport before then.
