Chapter 16. Part 3. Section 985 of the Nigerian Constitution;

When a person is convicted of attempting to dance with a tambourine while fully clothed, if it is proved that she desisted of her own motion from the willing donning of crop tops and filmy slinky skirts, she is liable to one-half of the punishment for first degree murder to which she would otherwise be liable. If that punishment is imprisonment for life, the greatest punishment to which she is liable is imprisonment for fifty years.

Their services was renewed (though it never stopped online). In-person services now restricted to India and Philippines. So I guess we have to make do with the online sessions. See here.

I think they have also stopped accepting ITAs and AORs, but no harm in trying.

I thought they said that program has been defunded and couple of online shows, they are done.

Proposed changes to Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations

The relevant part that concerns EE applicants is this:

Summary: outlining a clear process for IRCC officers to timestamp electronic applications, or other application-related communication, to give both clients and IRCC officers a clear and consistent point of reference when calculating processing times.

Detail: Date and time: The proposed amendments would provide details regarding the date and time when electronic applications or other information are deemed to have been received by clients and by IRCC and the CBSA. This will help to establish a consistent and verifiable point of reference for the calculation of processing times and other time-sensitive requirements, such as deadlines for submitting additional information to support an immigration application. The proposed amendments would also provide similar details regarding the time and date when electronic payments are deemed to have been received by IRCC and the CBSA, helping to ensure predictable service for clients and consistent administration of the immigration programs of the Government of Canada. These proposed amendments do not introduce new authorities for officers; they simply provide clarity for officers to exercise their existing authority in the context of electronic applications and systems.

For other proposed changes, check here and here

Your passport is the source of your biographical data. Best to change the passport.

Xclusivemaama:
Good day everyone, please I need your help on this issue:

The age on my husbands' international passport is different from the one on all his school certificates..

The real age is the one on his certs..They made a mistake with his passport.. And he has an affidavit already declaring his real age

Now my question is this , In this PR process starting from ECA, should we still go ahead and use WES for his documents verification and attach the affidavit bearing in mind that the age on his transcript, waec is different from passport?

Should we attach an age declaration affidavit to any document that has date of birth in the course this process

I would really appreciate it if anyone understood what I just type and can be of help
This country don tire me huh

1. No undergrad IT.

2. Gift can come anytime before AOR.

3. Let all your publicly available information align with your application.

NubianQueen87:
Good morning my people.

Silent reader first post here. I have tried to go through all the posts from page one. Whew! God bless everyone of you. I can't begin to imagine how much of your lifetimes have been invested in making this great journey much easier.

I have an MSc from the UK (2013) but have not held an official job since I returned. NYSC was in 2010, so I understand from the posts that I can claim that 1year.

I have evaluated my MSc with WES, hubby and I wrote IELTS in a sitting (all glory to God). I had LRSW 8.5/7.5/7.5/7.5 Hubby had LRSW 8/9/7.5/7. I calculated our score and it's 436, so we're planning on evaluating hubby's degree so we can get up to 444.

But I have a few questions...
1. I worked for a company for 6months in 2010 after NYSC and before leaving for Master's. It's the same company that I did my 6months industrial training in. Can I claim my 6months industrial training in 2008? Or make I just free am and use the nysc I'm certain of?

2. I'm expecting a gift deed in March (100%). Does it have to be in my account as principal applicant for 6months before I can enter the pool, or can i enter after evaluating hubby's degree and then I just print it out post ITA and attach an LOE?

3. Since I have not held a job, do I still need to update anything on my social media and LinkedIn?

big congrats to everyone who clinched ITA a couple of days ago. We dey una back dey come!

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 6:12am On Feb 02, 2019
It used to mean that, but IRCC now does eligibility and aspects of admissibility in parallel, so you can't be certain.

If eligibility is passed, you will hear/read something like eligibility passed, met or recommended pass.

Barryston:
Thank you egbon
So if your application status says admissibility stage does that mean you have passed eligibility?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 6:03am On Feb 02, 2019
Dude, you have been told by different people in different ways that the evaluation is ok and you should go ahead with your profile, but you seem to doubt our competence to answer your question.

To wit, an evaluating body can assess your qualifications to any description they like based on their internal procedures. What you should be concerned with is whether the evaluation will give you the right crs points.

I suggest you send IRCC a tweet on Twitter and hope for a better response.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 5:52am On Feb 02, 2019
Yes.

Eligibility: Do you qualify for the visa program and so should be granted a visa?

Admissibility: Is there anything about you or your life for which you should not be allowed to enter Canada?

The IRPA law sets the parameters for answering both questions.

Barryston:
Please house, is there a difference between eligibility and admissibility in this PPR journeyhuh

I'm confused oo undecided

As PA, you need ECA to open a profile.
No, you cannot delete an ineligible profile.

johnnybravo1990:
I tried to enter the pool without ECA (expecting my ECA this month). After submitting the Express Entry profile, I got a notification/email that I am not eligible.

1. Is the absence of ECA the reason? Note: I was allowed to progress with the online application and submit my profile, even when I filled that I didn't have ECA (mind you, I filled what my education level was equivalent to, which is masters).

2. Should I be worried that my profile has been rejected? I tried to even delete the profile, but I couldn't.
