Most are working n not being paid according to their input.It's not easy too for private school owners as many students were still owing for 2nd term before the lockdown. Running a private school is not as lucrative as ppl feel atimes.

3Markers, diaries,registers,pens ,soap,etc
4.Renovations n repairs
5. Fuel n oil for Gen plus servicing
6. Staff salaries(teaching n non teaching)
7 plus other miscellaneous expenses
Note u r expected to pain at least once I'm 2 years or even yearly to make the place look attractive.

Yet there are parents who would have their children in the school for terms with promises of paying but later withdraw them n register them in other school where they do same. Some of those children end up attending up to 5 schools or more.
Atimes school business is a charity thing. The funny thing is the govt is not seeing private schools as helpers rather they are seen as rivals. Atimes I ask myself if schools decide to conversation their buildings to residential will the govt be able to cope? Children in private schools also need help from the govt. There are so many ways the government can help as they are also children of the Federal republic o Nigeria.
Go to govt schools,u will see over 200 in a class with some having no chairs but when officials pay private schools visit,they make it seem they arr not doing anything. This is disheartening.
In this Corona period,the govt thats unable to provide jobs for private school teachers should have waded in cos it's not easy for private school owners this period.
Perhaps govt should also review the dues being paid by the private school owners at the ministry of Education. It's a bit on the high side. This is one of the ways thru which schools can be helped.

It’s very possible if the building was built with those oxitosin kinda rods, the smell of the rod can attract some species of snake especially the black mamba that is highly poisonous, it kills it prey within 20minutes with just a bite.
If the building is also painted with a paint that contains fermented cassava, it produces a chemical that allows a cobra to sight the building from afar and finally finds its way in.
