Look at 2 again critically this time and see if its possible. Normally UK used gadgets are sold for half price of the original. Could be said to have fulfilled 2?
Oga, use your sense na. The court will assess the worth of the phone in question, how much a used in that condition would be sold for, not how much a new one of it would cost.

You don't get it, do you?

The only way one can avoid it is to stop buying second hand gadgets aka UK used. Laptops, psvista etc

The hard reality is that second hand market is cheaper and commands more sales. Many wouldn't have access to such gadgets except through such means.

Question is how will you know a second hand gadget was stolen?
According to our laws, it's easy to convince the judge yoiu did not know it was stolen. All you have to do is show that
(1) You bought it from a market or shop where used phones are sold
(2) What you paid is within the price range such a phone would normally command
(3) You bought it in the day time

Sorry perhaps I'm about to screw you too.

If she makes money and stands on her own as independent, what else?

See the problem is not either way.. if a woman needs help she'll get it like she deserves it, when they make it on thier own which isn't even common, giving becomes a problem bcus she felt she struggled to make it. The men who made it and give the women, did they not struggle?

My point is this, your beauty comes out as a woman when u live a life of "less of yourself and more of others" regardless of whether you made it or in need. That's what keeps men at d top, not just culture. A man would share his last dime without hope of where to get another.. women don't understand life from that perspective.

It's not only about money but life in general.. when that becomes ur personality, you'll get help and still be honored with it as a woman neither will you be bashed for being independent because you're actually not independent in d first place but dependent on generosity

In my view that's d jackpot of life that brings you to the top in spite of all, whether u are rich or poor, always live a life of "less of me, more of others". For women it's always about " me me me me me, what someone will do for me, what I will not do for someone because I suffered to have it, always about me me and me". When one is too conscious of herself, you will get only negative responses. What a life!
Brilliant post!

Oh, the Bible. I see. You believe everything contained in a certain book was said by God because the book was printed by white men and given to you as the way to reach God. But the African's way of reaching God is bad since it was not written down in a book. I get you.

greatbygrace:
This has nothing to do with finance or academic. It has everything to do with the attitude and the love they claim they had. There are people in the same scenerio who are happily married. So your generalization is wrong.

There is nothing wrong in a wife calling her husband by name. It only depends on the attitude and manner.

There is also nothing wrong in a man dishing his food himself and even dishing for his wife. It is all about understanding and love.

Loving someone isn't all about money and academics afterall there are illiterates who are madly in love and there are poor people in love also. Although money makes it better. The main thing about love is understanding and sacrifice.

My opinion.
And your opinion is good.

Fast forward to 2019, the dreams and vision of the former governor finally come into place even though it was rushed but it's far better than nothing.

2 weeks since Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode handover over to Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Mr. Sanwo-Olu has been doing his best to live up to expectations and so far, it has been thumbs up Sanwo... AutoReportNG decided to revisit the Lagos-Airport Road which was commissioned by Pres. Buhari on 23rd April 2019 as we bring to you some exclusive images of the road, the painting and the night view of this road.

We are yet to know how much this road costs in the actual sense as LASG is yet to assent to the FOI bill.
I thought the FOI bill was already passed and already received assent at Abuja?

Yes, IPOB were unarmed. We have no report of them shooting anyone, soldier or civilian - have you? - or burning down public properties. Yes, unarmed people can breach the peace - marching where they shouldn't, blocking roads, calling for violence, etc. When that happens - or if they were buying arms - you round them up and detain them and charge them if you have a case, not open fire on them. It's the 21st century - not the era of Genghis Khan or Queen Amina - and there are rules of engagement.

Enjoy your day too.

I never heard Amnesty international talk about the Saudi journalist that was killed in Turkey.
Amnesty don talk Turkey taya. But like you said, you haven't heard. They've also taken the US government to task several times. But you love your ignorance, I guess.

Now, the link you posted doesn't show anywhere AI attacked the Army for fighting terrorists, only where they took the Army to task for killing UNARMED protesters - which is what IPOB folks are. Or did those IPOB people carry AK47 and kill anyone? Were they killed while planting IEDs (bombs) or burning houses? But I can see you don't even know it's wrong for the army to kill ANYBODY unless the person is armed and poised to commit bad things. So like Tsav, any time AI says anything, you think they're fighting the army. Sad.

Politics › Re: Amnesty’s Support For IPOB, Militants Suspicious, Says Tsav by JuanDeDios: 2:02pm On Jun 06, 2019
Osagyefo98:
Former Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Alh. Abubakar Tsav, has described Amnesty International (AI)’s alleged support for militants and insurgents as evidence to destabilise the country by the London-based orgnaisation. He advised the federal government to issue a “cease and desist” notice to the rights group.

In a statement yesterday, the former Public Complaints Commissioner in charge of Benue State believes the apparent support for Niger Delta militants, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) and even tolerance of Boko Haram were evidence that AI wanted to set the nation apart.

Tsav’s charge followed calls for the non-governmental organisation (NGO) to be banned from the country and treated like a criminal organisation for alleged traces of terrorism-motivated propaganda. His words: “Amnesty International recently launched what it described as its 8-Point Human Rights Agenda for Nigeria in what is the greatest slur and insult to the country from the international non-governmental organisation. Although packaged in the veneer of good intentions, the action by Amnesty International must be viewed in the right context to appreciate the danger it portends.

“A lot has been said about a destabilisation agenda against Nigeria. One of the predicted outcomes of this agenda is the emergence of microstates that could easily be manipulated, controlled and owned by corporations. Amnesty International has been mentioned in different instances as implementing this agenda to break Nigeria up.”

“The organisation’s relationship with the federal government and key national institutions has been that of belligerence, often accusing them of grievous crimes without proof. These faulty reports from Amnesty International have damaging consequences, nonetheless, as seen from the United States’ refusal to approve the sale of military hardware to Nigeria during the (President Barack) Obama era based on a petition from the NGO.

“It is therefore pertinent for the federal government to ask if Amnesty International is already in a new phase of its destabilisation agenda, the phase that entails the NGO testing the waters to see if Nigeria has become weak enough to take instructions from it in the form of a shopping list christened 8-Point Human Rights Agenda for Nigeria.”

https://m.guardian.ng/news/amnestys-support-for-ipob-militants-suspicious-says-tsav/
Where did AI support any of these groups? It seems willful ignorance and misunderstanding is the order of the day in Nigeria.
