Since idiotic Secuirity Aparatus devulged how lucrative kidnapping business is with overly publicising of Evans issue, Every thug with a gun to spare now prefers to kidnap for ransome, even if the ransome is 100k. Just as the EFCC noise on yahooboys and judges sentencing them to 6 months in prisonment or an option of less than 100k Fine is now making Jobless people to consider Yahoo Yahoo

Na wa for Nigeria sef, Now a Groom now have to Pay Bride Price twice
Fair point. But you can't really keep such news off the media.

That car was parked before it was burnt...he was either killed and burnt in his car or he swapped bodies and disappeared somewhere to enjoy his loot with a new girl... But if you ask me, I will say it was a case of murder because the sitting posture of the body remains in the car says it all.

IN HER WORDS, IT'S BETTER FOR ME TO BELIEVE IN SOMETHING AT LEAST, THAN FOR ME TO JUST STAY LIKE THAT.

SO I ASKED WOULD YOU PREFER I WERE A BELIEVER, A MUSLIM, THAT BELIEVES ALLAH DEMANDS THE DEATH OF INFIDELS LIKE YOU CHRISTIANS... INSTEAD OF MY CURRENT STATE OF BELIEVING THAT PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE, LOVE AND BE HAPPY?
SHE SAID YES, THAT AS LONG AS I BELIEVE IN "SOMETHING" NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, IT IS BETTER THAN BELIEVING IN NOTHING.

THIS GIRL AND MANY OTHER CHRISTIANS THAT HAVE SAID THE SAME THING TO ME IMPLY THAT TERRORIST MUSLIMS WHO BOMB THE WORLD MAKING IT UNLIVABLE, ARE BETTER THAN ME WHO CAN'T EVEN KILL A CHICKEN.

I THINK THAT WAS THE POINT I GAVE UP ON BELIEVERS ENTIRELY.
It's unbelievable but unfortunately this is a common position among Nigerian "believers". It's mental conditioning which robs the mind of reasoning.

I think what they meant is that , once you come, you take another cylinder of equal size. You don't have to stick to your own but there will be quarrel when you bring a neat one and an ugly one is given to you in exchange.

However, that's how it's done in the developed world.
That shouldn't be too much of a problem if standards are enforced and use-by date is strictly adhered to. But this is Nigeria, I guess.

Igbo Amaka.

This is the 4th British municipality to elect Igbos this month alone plus the Igbo man that was elected in Canada at their Federal level all occuring this month.
The dirty suffersticated tribe that packed themselves in UK, I wonder why they are not being elected. Even the one they managed to get was removed for criminality early this month.

These suffersticated chimps remind me of those dirty African savages in "King Solomon's mines"(a novel).
You call black people monkey - something I thought only vile white racists do. Then you talk of "dirty African savages". And you sound Nigerian. Black. Something is not right. The more I read the more I'm convinced the average IQ of Nairaland is around 52, no offence meant to the intelligent Nairalanders.

If Yorubas was giving a president on a plater of gold because of Abiola, why cant they support the same for Igbos so that both APC and PDP will field Igbo candidate as was done for them in 1999. It is very unfortunate that Yorubas is making it as if Obasanjo became president by their own making whereas it was giving to them for compensation by other Nigerians, they did not even vote for Obasanjo self, the one they use to jump up and down that they have produced a president before.
Lol at blue. Well, they've produced a president, haven't they?

Yes, the presidency was conceded to them in 1999 (by the north whose majority number is their power) but it wasn't on a platter of gold. Abiola went all out to fight for his mandate. He died, remember? People were assassinated, exiled or jailed. That was the sacrifice that came first.

SLAP44:
Well, Ekwueme was thinking rationally like a normal igbo man, who feels he must step aside and allow party supremacy override his personal ambition of being president. He stood down for Obasanjo and in the end, all Igbos and other Nigerians voted Obasanjo into power. The man that even fought him bitterly was Falae, his yoruba egba man.

Tinubu represents the average yorubaman who will first think tribe and want to grab everything on the table as if he's the most hungry person out there.

That's why I think the concept of Nigeria as a united country is utter rubbish. But we don't need to worry too much, the country will most definitely self destruct. The SW is already pressing the button.
Ekwueme CONTESTED the primary and LOST to Obasanjo. Or isn't that what happened again? Ekweme lost because the generals and the northern powerbrokers felt it was best to have a Yoruba man because of the Abiola matter. The northern and SW delegates at the Jos convenston voted for Obasanjo while SE support was shared between Ekweme and Jim Nwobodo. Olu Falae was chosen by his party the AD and he ran agaisnt Obasanjo in that capacity. Falae carried the SW but Obasanjo carried the PDP strongholds of north, SS and SE. Falae lost fairly and later congratulted Obadanjo. Stop trying to confuse people with your own version of history. The odds were stacked against Ekweme but stop lying that he stepped down for Obasanjo or anybody.

You don't have to be loved equally to be happy. Even Jesus had a favourite desciple in the Bible. The Bible God also had his favourites. What is important is fairness and that is possible. If the man did not have enough sense to treat his wives and kids fairly, that is an indictment of him not of polygamy.

And then there is this

In other words, DISCOS are being forced to pay for power production below the production cost...which is preventing them from making a profit..and making investment

I know a lot of Nigerians are going to shout APC is evil and some will blame PDP...but the honest truth is, we cannot be underpaying our power sector and be exepcting improved power.

The funny thing is that most Nigerians would compain if government forced them to sell below production price of their goods...but are not complaining when the same happens to power.

We have to accept reality. Our oil revenue is low, and we are running into debt to stay above water. Let the DISOCS charge their prices, make their profit, and things will in time get better.

Sorry, you can insult me, but fact is effing fact.
Finally, one sensible comment. Make e for no loss.

This clown should just shut up his mouth and make inquiry about history before typing rubbish on Media.. I am sure 1985 coup was also a coup against people of Kastina by Niger state military officers... Mumu

Keep typing rubbish by spreading hate speech, but one thing is certain... The day Igbos will pull out out of this unholy union even if it would take centuries, Igbos will be very brutal to their perceived enemies... It's a matter of time. Every history is properly documented for justification..

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries has joined the clique of pastors who owns private jet. The man of God who is the most traveled preacher of our time truly deserves it. The private jet is a gift given to him by someone who loves the ministry and what God is using him to do.

According to records, he has been to over 120 countries of the world preaching the gospel of Christ and his church is fully established in more than 60 countries of the world.

The private jet ownership was announced by Pastor Henry Ibukun Leonard, the resident pastor of OFM Malaysia. I know what I'm saying I was born in millitary home, carrying gadgets around doesnt make you a guru but be able to apply it in no option situation and still float matters. South Africa are just bloody bread and butter millitary. They are just theoritical millitary brigade or boyscout.
Your words, almost verbatim, were what the Japanese told themselves before they attacked Pearl Habor - the Americans are bread and butter folks who can't handle the rigors of war. You know what they did to the Japanese. Google it if you don't.

I doubt you know anything about the Southies' military technological advancement or the role their mercenaries have played in wars throughout Africa's modern history.

Sometimes when these guys get killed by bandits they deserve no iota of pity with the way they treat civilians.
BTW thou have not lived else where I doubt if military guys in developed countries so much terrorise civilians like they do in a lawless country like Nigeria
No. They generally avoid contact with the civil populace. They have no koboko in their lives. If they see you breaking the law the best they can do is report to the police like everyone else would do. If you have a civil matter with them - like you're owing them and you refuse to pay - they would talk to a lawyer and take you to court like everyone else.
