I am an Igbo man. The resilience and bravery of the Igbo man cannot be questioned but I sincerely believe that the Biafran state we are agitating for cannot solve our fundamental problem. If Biafra is granted independence today, believe me, it will be the beginning of another phase of struggle because all the federating states would want to produce the President of Biafra all at the same time. When the Senate presidency was zoned to us, almost all the states in SE had a shot at the senate presidency. we need to deal with this fundamental problem first --this is the bitter truth!!!! |

honey86: Yes Canada is cold but you will get used to it. The key is layering and invest in good winter gear and besides the houses are well insulated. For PR and Canadians education from elementary to high school is free, however there are affordable private schools usually Christian schools if you prefer that. The regular private schools are more expensive. Most private schools have websites so you can find out about them on Google. Thanks a lot for your response...pls how good are those affordable Christian schools? Are there such Christian schools in Manitoba and Ottawa? |

rsavvy: I just think we have to look at this from the VOs point of view...one child is something but 3children and still going to school is a lot. If you have close family in Canada you can package that they are assisting you Also hope you know you have to show like an extar 5k or 10k not too sure ...for each extra depandant I.e. your 3 children Thanks a lot for your kind response. We don't have relatives in Canada. please may I know what you mean by showing extra 5 or 10K for each dependant? Money might not be too much of an issue by God's grace. I really wanted to know if it is possible for one's children to accompany her to Canada on student's visa. Does anybody on this forum know someone who has done it in the past and if yes how did they go about it? Your help will be appreciated. Thank you. |

Hello house,
Please I need candid advise from the gurus in this forum. My wife just applied for a graduate programme in a Canadian university. I will sponsor her from Nigeria but she needs to travel with our 3 children; the eldest of them is 5yrs old. The challenge now is this: how best can we package their visa application to convince the embassy to grant her study permit and also allow her travel with the children? Please your advise and suggestions will be highly appreciated. |

So those things you listed above are more important to Niger-delta than presidency, vp, sfg, and senate presidency?
Have you not seen that as far the north and southwest nigeria are concerned, the south-south is never fit to rule? stop wailing!!!!! your son was vice president, then President for 6 years yet he couldn't complete the East-West road, his own home town cannot boast of good water and not connected to national grid. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by JUBILEE2000: 11:28am On Oct 22, 2015 |
zandora: Hello all,
I've created this thread for Canadian Express Entry and outstanding FSW 2014 applicants since the previous thread became too long and has now been closed. I've also pasted a PDF link below which details the step by step instructions to apply for the Federal Skilled Workers Program via Express Entry.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4gWGgP8Vy5lSjFoaC01ZUtOaTg/view
In order to apply for Express Entry via FSW you need to first have a minimum of 1 year full time (30 hrs a week) or 2 years part time (15 hrs a week) skilled work experience which falls under NOC code A,B or O. Check for your NOC code below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp
Next take your IELTS General test.
Then evaluate your degree or credentials via WES Canada (the best option). See link below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp
After doing the above, to find out if you've qualified you need to score a minimum of 67 points out of 100 in the FSW grid. Calculate your score below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
Now that you've qualified, you can go ahead and complete your Express Entry profile via the link below: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp
Other things you must have:
Reference letters to verify the work experience you're claiming points for in the specified format below:
Written on company letterhead.
Signed by the responsible officers/supervisor.
Have the printed name and job title of the responsible officer/supervisor beneath the signature.
Show the company’s full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses
Stamped with the company’s official seal (if applicable)
The letter must include 5 things:
Your job title.
The dates of your employment (ideal format: DD/MM/YYYYY).
Your salary per year (or month).
Your average hours per week.
A detailed list of your employment duties.
Next you need to provide police certificates from all the countries you've resided in for 6 months and above since you were 18 years. See link on how to obtain PC from various countries below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/security/police-cert/index.asp
Then you need to provide proof of funds for you and/or your family:
Number of Family Members Funds Required (in Canadian dollars) 1 $11,931 2 $14,853 3 $18,260 4 $22,170 5 $25,145 6 $28,359 7 or more $31,574
Note: Birth certificates are no longer required for applicants but are only now required for your child/children.
Wishing you the best of luck !

https://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines Dear Zandora, First of all a big congratulations on your success. I must confess the job you and other good people are doing on this forum free of charge is what many pay hundreds of thousands to get through agents and consultants. May God continue to bless you. Please I just sent you a pm. I have gone through every comment on this forum and I have some concerns concerning the Express entry programme for my wife and children that I would want to send to you via mail if you don't mind. Thank you. |

stonecoldcafe: LEAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HER, SHE DOES NOT WISH TO BE MARRIED TO YOU. IS IT BY FORCE TO BE TIED TO YOU SIR?
YOU MALTREATED THIS WOMAN AND IN YOUR HEART, YOU KNOW IT. YOU THOUGHT SHE WOULD DIE BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T HAVE A JOB BUT GOD HAS BEEN SENDING HER HELPERS. NOW YOU ARE UPSET, YOU SAY HEAVEN AND EARTH AGAINST PASTORS AND FRIENDS THAT ARE HELPING A SINGLE MOTHER. MAY GOD JUDGE YOU. SHE HAS A JOB, YOU ARE MAD. SHE HAS A CHURCH THAT CARES, YOU FIND A WAY TO ROPE IN HER PASTOR. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM THIS WOMAN EMEKA?
SHE HAS MOVED OUT AND SEEN LIFE IS BETTER ALONE THAN WITH YOU. PLEASE ALLOW HER BE FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST. BOTH OF YOU SHOULD WORK OUT AN ARRANGEMENT ON THE CHILDREN MEETING THE OTHER SPOUSE DURING LONG HOLIDAYS. JUST ALLOW THIS WOMAN BE EMEKA! much as I respect your opinion, it's not fair for you to take sides especially in an issue that has to do with marriage. What if they make up tomorrow and come back loving each other again, u would have been the looser. U should rather uphold them in prayers for with God nothing is impossible. Shalom |
