Justwise=Justbiased. A western apologist who wouldn't mind if the union Jack becomes Nigerian flag again. People like you marvel me. What makes you think the decision of Western nations and the US is in the best interest of the world. When the Rwandans were murdering themselves in one of the biggest genocides ever, why did they watch and look? When Biafra was fighting for seccession, why did they arm the Nigerian army and frustrate the Biafrans. Why didn't they speak against apartheid until the late 80s/early 90s? What ever happened to their venture in Somalia which is presently a failed state embarassed with poverty and famine. When you come to realise that the so called Western World powers act only in their interest maybe that's when you might be deserving of the title you bestow on yourself for being "justwise", which you aren't as of present.

The Syrian situation is a bigger scenario. Syria is gradually on the edge of Arab civil war. The regime is being supported by the Iranians as it's a Shia-muslim government in charge. The opposition is likewise being supported by Qarar, UAE, Saudi, etc which are Sunni muslim nations. The so-called powers invovled want to use Syria as a groundbase for Sunni/Shia war, a place which has been relatively peaceful under Bashar Al-Assad. The Free Syrain Army is being secretly armed by Turkey and Qatar. So tell me, do you want the government forces to give in so easily to a foreign-sponsored militia.

Russia and China made a great choice. They've simply proved to be more humane and non-hypocritical than the hypocritical Western nations.
You keep letting yourself down as you rant -on, Russia and China decision is a business one, Russia supplies weapons to Syrian govt so they are protecting their interest, if you think that Russia and China vetoed it because they give a monkey about Syrian people then you need to get your head checked.

Why do you expect the west to go around the world protecting every living soul being murdered by their own govt? When they do people like you cry your eyes out and when they don't you rant-on.

I really really hope that the west stay far away from Syria, let them kill themselves and Russia and China will feel the heat when the time comes, they will lose all their business interest when that govt is gone. . . which will happen with or without the west.

Russia and China vetoed resolution to take action against Syria not just because Assad is completely clean but Western resolution and intervention never bring anything good but evil. History tells us! If Assad fall, it will be a blow to Russia and Iran and weaken their powers in the region. All the government against the western countries nowadays are not doing it just because they want it that way but the plan to put an end to western intervention and agression around the globe are currently underway. The world has suffered so much from the hand of the WEST for more than 400 hundred years and they(WEST) know that one day nemesis will catch upon them. War is coming soon and it might involve Russia and China, this is not Hollywood movies but reality. Syria is just a side game plan, the final destination is to destroy Iran and change the regime thereby taking control of Iranians vast oil and gas reserves and control the Chinese energy security. Because this year is an election year in America, Obama said yesterday that attacking Iran will be too risky and there is news all over CNN and BBC of job creation in U.S.A.~~~~~the main goal is to win the re-election and release the final game plan to execute the "Project for the New American Century, Strategic, Plans and Defenses". The plan is to strenghten America superpower and energy security for the next 100years by invading nations then set them back to the stone age. Libya has now been bombed back to 40years back but the silly Libyans don't know yet until the real suffering started. Libya oil will be used to fill the lost oil from Iran when the time comes that is why they have to take Ghadaffi out. Some people here doesn't read about world history before jumping into conclusion but what I know is that the WEST will never back down and the IRANIANS also has crossed point of rubicon so we should all brace up for possible World War III if it involves China and Russia because that is all out Nuclear War. A total amargedom and final doomsday that will reduce world population and redesign the existence of humanity. Putin is coming in March to seek re-election of Russian Presidency, his ideology is totally anti-WEST and said in one of his manisfesto that he is coming to bring back the old Soviet Union.

So blindly adopting the white man's view is forward thinking for Africans? huh

Are you serious?
So the black man view towards Africans are support: corruption, stay in power till you die and if anybody gets in your way of president for life kill him or her, allow no opposition party, send all your children to study abroad while you run down the country?

Take time to research Zimbabwean history and arrive at your own conclusions.

Mugabe should be seen as a hero for all elightened Africans. This my opinion.
He is a hero to all backward thinking Africans.

Russia and China should trap  the wicked trio ( Uk, USA and France) one day by allowing Nato military actions against  a country. Once the resolution is passed and Nato troops are there on the ground , at least  1 million chinese and Russian troops move in. This will be a big humiliation to these three bully countries. They would be forced  out like wet cats. After that cold bath one can bet modesty will be a sacro -saint value at the United Nations.
You watch too much action movies, come back to reality.

Part time jobs may be hard these days - when full graduates are even out there unemployed

hmmm - unless you stay in the school hostel, else no accommodation is cheap

that one is the easiest na. - so many calling cards out there.
That is actually more expensive than private renting

Technically Libya just got their independent from Gaddafi less than 6months ago, and they will struggle for sometimes before the dust settles, how is Nigeria that got her independent since 1960? better than Libya?

I was just speaking who said he believes everything happening in Syria - Guess what? Because he heard it on CNN.

I have heard so many Nigerians arguing from the same angle.

People here do not really understand international politics and the West's pathological bias and purely self-interest based view of everything in this world.

Idiots here keep repeating the jagon "Killing civilians, women and children and so on"

The self serving West (that idiotic clown Obama sef) used "humanitarian intervention" and other gimmicks to destroy Gadaffi (a catastrophy to any discerning African) right in front of our korokoro eyes.

Perhaps Gerrard, valarious and their likes are basing their judgement on what they hear on CNN

I don't know who you work for or what you do, but I believe you're 'Uncle Tom'. Remember Mohammed Ali? Nigerians are the most self-centred people on the planet. The only group that snitch on one another and the one group that loath it neighbours progress.

We have the Chinese community and village, Indian community and so on, but what do Nigerians have? We have people like you who go around washing their dirty laundry on the street.

Let me teach you philosophy and criminology. In every society there are always "bad eggs". These "bags eggs" are not born this way. But these are the smart a.s.s who defile govt policy on certain issues. Not that they are criminals (a criminal is a person tried and convicted in the court of law), but they are those who deviate from certain norms.

Now who define one as criminal and the other deviant? The society (the people) labelled people  and thus influence govt policy on certain issues like crime and punishment. Now without criminals, there will be no crime. A proper state needs criminals as a scape-goat to function properly. Most issues are political which when dissected correctly leads to where we coming from.

9-11 was political likewise 7-7. All these are govt control programmes to deceive you and I that there are bad people out there. The Govt is the mob. You are the victim. Wise-up Justwise grin
To start with, i wouldn't want to have a thieving neighbour, i will make sure you get hanged.

You must have understood by now that there are certain people in nairaland i detest, they are: aspiring criminals like you, fraudsters, people who peddles baseless and unfounded conspiracy theories, paris10 guess what? You are all of the above, so its pointless trying miserably to preach to me because i stand against everything you stand for.

Criminals are the best scholars and most intelligent sound minded people in the world. The British, Americans and other power house countries are known for their criminality, hence them becoming the richest countries you now have the privilege to sit in.

These countries and their govts came to your fatherland, stole everything you've ever worked for, enslave you, disrupt your growth, entice you with their visas and feed you on your stolen goods, yet you still worship them. This shows how intelligent you are.

You own oil yet you can't refine them in your country. You export the raw materials, white dudes refine them for you and sold them back to you in ten folds. So tell me, who are we fooling?

This is a deep thought!
You are such a glorified animal, Bill Gate and Steve Job are all criminals? Lord Alan Sugar is also a criminal? Mark Elliot Zuckerberg (owner of Facebook) is a criminal? Oprah winfrey, Tiger Woods they are all criminal? The list goes on. . for the fact that you have bunch of thieving politicians is not the fault of British and Americans, what stops Nigeria from refining their own oil? Such a lazy argument.

This is the sort of argument we hear here from every fraudster who is struggling to make it in life, good luck with your thieving career.

This response is shallow-minded, ignorant, bias and detrimental. Do you know how many Asian men are caught everyday indulging in sham marriages? Do you know the amount of Indians and Pakistanis who are involved in this business?

Have you ever thought how many Nigerians are in the UK and how many of them are legal? About 90% of Nigerians live legally in the UK. 50% are British, 30% students, 10% on work and spouse permit and 10% on Visitors visa. 5% are illegal (But these are those who have exhausted their stay and now called over-stayers). sources, ADUELD 2011 (Independent research, University of East London)

The 5% overstayers are  the desperate ones who would do anything to stay legal. Indians are Pakistanis are the largest group of illegal immigrants and sham marriages organisers.

Office of National statistic 2009 accounts for 154,000 of Nigerians born in the UK. So whenever you see Nigerians on the street of Peckham with or without sound English, they might be British citizens and not illegal.
As somebody who is involved in organising fake marriage i know you will come up with this rubbish. I don't care how many Pakistanis or India who do it, i'm not from any of those countries, they will deal with their own problem, i'm only concerned about what some criminals from Nigeria does.

So get over your pointless argument.

I knew what you were saying initially but deviated from it a bit. Your holier than thou attitude would have been much appreciated if you knew much. You come across like a good guy, but you lack experience and facts about life.

We all want to make it big, but the above highlighted words would not take us anywhere. Faith does not deny fact. Likewise making it big in life requires wisdom, shrewdness and intelligence. The likes of Dangote, Abiola, Gates, Buffett and so on made their money not based on honesty but on principle, wisdom, shrewdness, what they know, who they know and how they can do things without being caught (wisdom you might say). But then let us not deviate from this topic.
No, lets go for it.

Where exactly did i deviate from the issue of paying back what you own?.

There is nothing you have written above that surprised me, you have always being an aspiring fraudster, i have known that for sometimes now.

I don't believe that one need to cheat, steal, be dishonest to make it in life, i don't believe in making it 'big' by defrauding others. Being criminal minded hasn't helped us as Nigerians anyway, many people can't trust us even with toilet brush. I stand by what i believe in, if i die poor believing that so be it .

You are a pathetic ignorant (no pun intended) dude. Not paying money owed to a company will never affect a visa application.
You've always tried to be an expert, but dude, you need to get your learning on.

You can owe as much as you like, good credit is not a prerequisite in dishing out visa. Only exception is fraud and money laundering. But then people need to clean their act and pay off any money borrowed.
I will over-look your insult. . .for now. . .and explain what i meant by: If you do that then u got nothing to worry about again. . .

If he pays back that money then he doesn't need to come here to ask whether owing money in the UK will affect his chances of obtaining a visa. There was nowhere in my posts i linked owning money in the UK to obtaining a visa.

Got that?

but why is the west only condemning the government and holding it responsible for all the attrocities committed in syria? why is the west not condemning the militias that are being supported by western Wahhabi allies like qatar and saudi (ruled by dictatorial monarchies) to topple the syrian government? doesn't that show that the west is complacent and has a hand in the unrest in syria?

this isn't even about oil.syria is a strategic player in middle east politics and opposes israel by supporting resistance to occupation movements in palestine (hamas) and in lebanon ( Shia hezbollah,an ally of Iran).also syria itself is a very close and important ally of Shia Iran,a rival of the west.the politics and importance of syria as a strategic player in middle east politics outweighs the importance of oil and resources syria possesses in the eyes of the west.

so let us dont fool ourselves here.
So the west controls the whole of Arab league countries that initiated the resolution at the first place?

Also don't accept to help people giving you stuff to deliver when you are in the airport, most times you can't cross check it, but if you can cross check then go ahead and help if you can.

He paid an agent to get him a ticket to St Kitts, and not a visa. So maybe we shouldn't be too harsh on him.

But I think he could have used Expedia or some other ticketing website to make a reservation, especially since he lives in the U.S. He didn't have to use a Nigerian agent.
You actually believed that he sent an agent N650.000= equivalent of $4.00283 for a ticket?

That apart, why must he be so rude to every Nigerian because he was 'duped' by a single individual?
