Biyi1471: Do not blame those that engage in sham marriages to get their papers in UK. Anybody can do it if confronted with stack reality of life in UK. I blame the economy of this country and those phucking leaders mismanaging our naturally endowed resources. I used to remember those days my Father would travel to the UK Visa free and with 500 naira Ticket!!! Those poor guys out there are just trying to adapt to the situations they unavoidably found themselves. Anybody can be in their shoes. Life goes on, Engaging in sham marriage is onething but using those poor women like the Nigerian was boasting is sick. If the woman wants to go into sham marriage then fine but bring them from Latvia and treating them like that is just disgusting . |

@1guy
Its not my cup of tea what you do with your money but if your elder brother wants to visit Israel then he should try and avoid dealing with any Israelian 'visa agent'. As long as Israel has embassy in Nigeria he can do it himself. |

my major problem is my new wife, how to ensure that she is granted visa, , i am open to suggestions /ideas, nothing is set in stone, i wrote the 100k/month , cos its an advice someone made, really a bit confused and need help in doing the right thing n not messing up my wifes visa application/my own valid visa You don't need to open an account for your wife or pay money into an account specifically for this, your account alone will do as long as you have enough money for the trip and something to fall back at in Nigeria. Do a budget for two of you for the trip and apply. |

nickyrich1: @justwise U are so funny,am sure u grew all your life in a church helping the pastor with domestic activities, because I've seen it all,like I just said and I still have the link. Its like the word DIPLOMATIC VISA is ur first hearing on this forum. My friend its real without appearance and finger print. US diplomat don't give out their own finger print for their national security reasons so they don't request from foreign Nationals they only make restrictions on movement leaving and coming to the states(once your propose is due you must leave or you will be called a spy) my Uncle was the former Ambassabor of Nigeria to a south american country during OBJ government, am also a cousin to former Edo state government who got restricted from going to the states still date because his office was use as a steady US visa office. Guy this is Nigeria hope for the best no doubt any fraud here na why VO dey use eyes for v isa interview not document. The only person who can travel freely as a diplomat is your uncle because his visa/red passport could be verified easily at any POE, the story you told about a police officer organising diplomatic visa to people without interview or finger print taken is just lies. You travel with diplomatic visa when you are on official assignment else you will use your green passport. Your story is from madeup.com. |

nickyrich1: @Weigher its highly possible,a friend of mine left the country 2yrs ago with such link but he's was for 1million naria and the police man who did it then has increased the fees to 2million naria which your visa will be out within 2weeks,no interview and your finger prints are not taken because its for a diplomatic visa and the visa duration is for 2yrs. The primary reason i don't like the link is they will get you a visa for 1 to 2yrs validation but you have only one entry right to the states any return with your passport and a valid visa to Nigeria is your last entry unless you reapply like a normal Nigerian, Imagine that and you are paying 2million naria. This is just silly and childish lies. A non-diplomat, holding a US visa without his finger print take or interviewed during the application process? You are having a laugh. |

Is the fixed deposit a good idea ? It will be with Nationwide. As you're in UK I know you'll know a bit about Nationwide (being a building society). Please advise.
More advise needed Sirs. Nationwide is ok, you stand a good chance since you are in full time employment with a good pay. I'm sure you can sell yourself at the interview, they may not even look at your documents much but base their judgment on your interview responses. |

Pls advice You may not like this. . but i'm going to say it anyway. . . is either somebody is about to use you or you are about to use somebody. US embassy do conduct interviews, a chief security officer in any embassy got no influence when it comes to visa issues, his power starts and end at the gate. If federal government is sponsoring some people from any ministry for foreign courses its almost impossible for a security officer at any embassy to add to that list. You will not even be called for an interview at US embassy, i hope you keep your 100K and not waste it. |

kadman: Hey guys need some urgent advice. I'm based in UK and plan to go to USA for summer.
I've read some articles online and I understand the main issue USA consulate have is assurance the visitor will return the the country of departure. I need some advice on documents to proof I will return to UK.
I'm in a full time job and can get - letter from work, payslips, bank statement. I unforunately can't provide a tenancy agreement. What else can I provide ?
I'm thinking of opening one of those fix bond accounts for a year (ISA), and put a fixed deposit - will that help me ? At least that will show I need to come back to retrive the money when it matures or should I just leave it in my bank.
I have about 10 Euro visas over the last 2 years, will this help at all ?
Please advise on the questions above. I'm extremely grateful in advance - VicJustic, OmoTier1, JustWise & Co. . My eyes are on you for help o
I've been planning this summer holiday for ages ! Do you still have more than a year left on your UK visa? Is your employment contract based? If yes. . how long do you have left on the contract. Since you are not married, own no property yet in the UK, the focus now will be on the nature of your employment, whether that could show stronger tie to the UK than Nigeria. Having those visas on your passport is a good thing, so its + |

valadex: @Adebyte. Thanks I appreciate. After completion of my course in November, I decided to come to Nigeria in December since my next course starts in May. I've just been working voluntarily at my cousin recording studio in Lagos to skillfully gain more experience from my sound engineering course. I really understand your reason for the advice but is it really advisable I portray myself as been employed in naija considering the fact that my next course in SA starts in May and my proposed easter holiday is in April which means the duration of my stay in naija prior to both my visit to the UK in April and to go back to SA is less than 4months from my arrival in December which would make employment unrealistic within this short time. Yes you're right, I could apply from SA if I was going for xmas holiday since I'll be back there in May but I'm going for easter holiday and I'm here in naija now. Is it a disadvantage I'm applying from my home country compare to applying in SA? And about the 8days duration I intend to spend in UK, why is it advisable I put in for 2weeks as my first time since I intentionally want to spend 8days? Will the ECO have any problem with shorter duration? I'll appreciate more guide and advice. Thanks I appreciate. Use the blank space provided in the form to explain the voluntary work you have being involved in since you came back from SA, who is financing the trip? You or your family? Did you make a list of places/things you intend to do in the UK? Outlined you budget for the trip? |
