juman: @ogugua1 Yeah, you are right, nobody is trying to support criminal activities.
The "leaders" that led/leading the country astray have children of the guys age mates controlling businesses of billions of dollar.
Nobody is supporting criminal but you are giving excuses for it, just as many here are busy ranting. . . no body holy pass. . .nonsense, those criminals are in jail and with that criminal record getting a job again will be impossible.
Whether we like it or not some of us are paying the price of crimes committed by other Nigerians.
igbo2011: @justwide and @paniki Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtZcjt28Oxg This shows how the west controlled much of south America before but now they are not colonizedd and they control theirselves. They have great leaders who stood up. All we have is Mugabe. Go to his site: http://johnpilger.com/
Listen to people like Naomi Klein or Keith Harmon Snow
These are some of my sources. CNN, Al Jazeera, BBC, Fox News are all biased. Watch Russia Today for better news. Listen for the truth.
I don't blame the west for everything, we need to revolt against neocolonialism. That is what Mugabe is trying to do but he got sanctioned. But the minute that Nigeria goes against the west America will attack in the name of humanitarian crisis.
Russia Today is your source of unbiased news? igbo2011 do yourself a favour and see your doctor, its important you do that.
Claus: It was not sanctions that caused Zimbabwe to stop becoming the food basket of south & central Africa. It was the random, emotionally driven and disorganised seizure and transfer of productive farms to unqualified Zanu-PF supporting "farmers" who chopped down the trees for firewood, sold and ate the livestock without thoughts of replenishment and generally left the farms run down.
Let us not refer to some generic sanctions as being the cause of Zimbabwe's downward spiral. Please list the sanctions on here for everyone to see and draw their own conclusions.
Kenyanstar: Its now clear that most of the nigerian citizenry is suffering from an inferiority complex. The last time i checked egypt, zimbabwe, iraq & libya were fully flegded properous nations until the western countries interefered. The case of iraq, which was among the most developed country in the arab peninsula is now in ruins. Libya which was the richest & most socially habitable african country is now on the edge of a civil war. Zimbabwe was considered the food basket of south & central africa but due sanctions it has left it in absolute destitution. This countries were distabilised by western powers leaving them in ruins. Show me a single african country that has immensley benefited from america economically.
That is what happens when you try to bite the finger that feeds you, Mugabe was busy getting all the incentives from the west and white farmers but when he turned against them they withdrew their support and Zim went down.
You can't eat your cake and have it. You mentioned Egypt? Can you tell me how the west caused the problem in Egypt?
Am I supposed to give a shiit what a lowlife scumbag arse-hole like your ignorant self thinks of me. I never even noticed you on this site before. I guess you think you know me. Sorry, dude. I'm not remotely interested in you or your ramblings. BTW, you're now a celebrity, since I just quoted you. lol.
That bolded section actually got me depressed now. How can a muppet like you be taken seriously, having an argument with complete fool like you can only be a waste of time.
Taking a dog for a walk is will be more rewarding experience.
JFKLondon: Mugabe is definitely right and we should see it in that direction that the West is encroaching on our lands, rights and others freely again. They have just done a test run with Libya and nobody, no government and even the rulers of our nation stood against it. Rather we were sold to believing that Gadaffi has overstayed his welcome. Can this happen in Europe or America where a sovereign nation is being overtaken forcefully. Look at what is happen in Syria, can you compare it to what happened in Libya yet no NATO, France, America and UK. It is a big shame to Africa, toothless bulldog AU and the rest that the land has been invaded and can't do anything. Mugabe may be wrong his his country, but he has spoken out out what most leaders in Africa fear to say. God will bless you but rule your country well for posterity to judge.
What do you want the west to go and do in Syria? When they step in now people like you will start ranting, let them watch as Syrians are being killed by their own govt, i hope no western country steps in.
Despite we have our country our people are forced out to another because of poverty.
The guys were trying to survive.
Unfortunate.
Its not trying to survive, its greediness, that guy is a UK passport holder, he has a job but prefer organising about 20 fake marriages for money in ONE church. They will now have to look at how he got his own passport. What a fool.
Niseamaka: In his eighties, after over three decades in power, this demented fool is teaching African leaders about leadership. Robert Mugabe have turned a very promising zimbabwe into an impoverished nation. He is hell bent on hanging on to power until death calls. It is sheer madness that at an age when he should be in peaceful retirement, he have started campaining for his next five years in power. The fact that the white minority controls 80% of zimbabwean lands have been in place since he assumed power in 1980 and up to his second decade in power. That was`nt an issue for him until he started losing his grip on power. It was then that he turned the inequality in land ownership into a political tool. This land problem was well handled in neighbouring South Africa where the same problem of imbalance exists. He should bury his head in shame for he is one of those sit tight maniacs giving Africa a bad image. How can a man, almost ninety years of age, still have the mental capacity to steer the affairs of a country. He is now critisizing the west, his best friends until he started destroying zimbabwe with his land politics and starving those who do not support his sit-tight tactics. The good news is that even if he successfully reinstalls himself as president for another five years, age will soon knock him out and zimbabwe will breathe again.

I will pay top dollar to read your post anyday, thanks for saying it as its.
Kenyanstar: Most of you guys criticiszing mugabe are ignorant of zimbabwe internal affairs. First, zimbabwe is one of the most beautifull, scenic cleanest countries in africa. You cannot even compare it with Nigeria. A visit to harare, capital city is like a walk in newyork. Its not only breathtaking but orderly. One of mugabes policies is to unify the country, but resistance from white minority group who still maintain apertheid role. Town like francistown r strictly white inhabited. The issue of tribalism is non existent. What is really hurting zimbabwe is sanctions not mugabe.
One word that comes to my mind reading your post is CLUELESS
zolzlolz: They keep on listening to Cap28, who's loitering in the UK and has never been to Zim and seen the conditions, but can have the nerve to tell people to worship Mugabe, whereas I attend university with ZANU-PF people's children who are stinking rich. They have their own BRAND NEW cars, their own apartments in good areas and pocket money each month that could pay my rent. But then there are Zimbabwean teachers working as car guards. I re-iterate how will the pro-Mugabes justify this?
I studied in Zimbabwe, i went to Speciss College and lived there for more than 3yrs, i was there when Zim was good and when Mugabe turned it to '5th' world country, some can listen to his speech in youtube and come here to reproduce his rubbish, since the white farmers he claimed to be the problem left Zim what has happened to Zim?
A western educated criminal clinging on to power and kill as he stays.
zolzlolz: Also Ndebeles also fought in the struggle. My mother had to march to Zambia. She's had a gun held to her head. What did the Ndebeles, who fought and died in the struggle, do to deserve Mugabe's inhumane treatment, unless there's something I don't know!
He made Zim his private property, that is why he is still fighting to get re-elected even at this age. This man has being in power since 1980!!!! and some deluded individuals here sees him as some sort of African voice of reason? Silly!!
worry246: You should be able to show where the cash you deposit comes from. A big imput may look like you have just borrowed the money to boost your account.
zolzlolz: The fruits of Mugabe's supposèd struggle against whites in Zimbabwe are being enjoyed by ZANU-PF supporters. The farms Mugabe took from white farmers are given to ZANU-PF supporters. I've read articles about the big guys in the ZANU-PF party owning a dozen farms and even double the houses, mansions rather with 22 bedrooms. This is Mugabe's liberation. And no this was not written in a US/UK newspaper, but who knows, the writers of those Zim papers might be working for the CIA I don't know. Zimbabweans are some of the brightest people academically, but my university campus has hundreds of Zimbabwean students. What happened to the University of Zimbabwe? Many of the black lecturers at my university are Zimbabwean. Why is it that with Mugabe's anti-imperialist stance, his children cannot even study at their country's universities. Why do the children of ZANU-PF leaders go to study in the US, Canada, the UK etc, Why did Mugabe's own daughter study in Hong Kong, instead of studying in UZ?
You are absolutely right!! The farms are given to Mugabe supporters who got no interest in farming whatsoever!! The white farmers have to destroyed some of their irrigation system when war vets started killing and driving them out of the farm, if the whole idea of land-redistribution was about black empowerment how come Zimbabwe can not produce what they can eat even as the lands is in their hands since early 2002?
Zimbabweans has the highest rate of literacy in Africa because they were enjoying FREE education paid for by the West, fuel subsidy in a country that produce no fuel but subsidised by hand out from the west, up until 2003 Zimbabweans comes to the UK visa FREE, when all those incentives were taken away by the west as a result of Mugabe wicked policies Zimbabwe went down like a pack of potato and he started preaching ant-west garbage.
Yes why are his kids studying outside Zimbabwe? Nonsense.
pendo89: Justwise if you come across anything paranoid just counter it and educate us. All I know about Nigeria is based on what I read here because it comes from the source. We can't build on anything paranoid. I know Africans love putting blame on the west. But if the so called west exploit us its cz we allowed them to. Our governing systems are weak so why blame the west when we are the architects of our disaster.
You know what? You just made my years not days by those two lines, you earned my respect.
calebo101: Now i am getting confused, Please what is the £1000 extra for? I thought it was just supposed to be £7200 for maintenance funds, so the £1000 would be for what? Pls advise further. i appreciate
You said your school £4000 and you want to deposit £3000, that leaves you with £1000 to show in ur account plus £7200 maintenance money bringing it to £8200.
zolzlolz: You are right. This man wiped out thousands of Ndebeles in Matabeleland. Under Mugabe Shonas have gotten preferential treatment to Ndebeles. How are you guys going to justify this?
Thank you!!!!!! Ndebeles will never feel part of Zimbabwe until Sekuru Mugabe is gone and somebody who cares about ALL Zimbabweans comes in and unite that country, Zimbabwe is not just about Shona tribe and Zanu-PF.
Mugabe shamelessly killed that country since around 1998 when he started using war vets to eliminate his opponents just to remain in power.
He was the darling of the west, he dinned and wine with them, supported and sanctioned Nigeria suspension from commonwealth during Abacha regime, now he has the gut to call for support against the west because they refused to seat and watch him commit more atrocities.
Igbo2011, You're certainly an admirable person.
What do you think of the overwhelming propaganda targeting the break-up of our country? It seems the USA and Western countries are very committed to that now. I even heard Pat Buchanan on the current affairs show McLaughlin Group make the imminent breakup of Nigeria his prediction, on this weekend's episode. I think we're screwed. You know our so-called leaders won't know when the rug is being pulled from under them. And you have many of the disaffected unpatriotic fools, even on this very site, jubilating over the prospect of the USA dropping drones on their countrymen. I mean, it is really shocking to me. Of course these will be the same people who will be crying up and down when their cousins and uncles have been Abu Ghraib'ed. We hope it doesn't get that bad.
Do you know why many people are not remotely interested in African history? Because people like you are all out for peddle baseless and unfounded conspiracy theories just to satisfy your deluded mind. The real African history will remain hidden and untold as long as individuals like you keep spreading rumours and blaming everybody else apart ourselves for our problems in Africa.
People are sick and tired of reading and listening from bunch of hypocrites pretending to know African history but actually all they do is expose their limited knowledge of everything Africa apart from lies and conspiracy theories.
calebo101: oophs, so i have to start counting again. Doing the maths what if i deposit 3400 pounds which is about 863000 Naira? Would that suffice justwise?
Don't make things difficult for yourself, deposit exactly the amount the ECO expected from you which is: £7200 + £1000= £8200, anything less than that u will be refused a visa.
calebo101: Thanks justwise, using the oanda currency converter, as at today 7200 pounds is equivalent to 1,816,420. I have 2 million naira in my account. The fee is 4000 pounds and i want to deposit 3000 pounds. Would all go well.? pls advise me candidly. I appreciate
wanaj0: Well, I was not planning to travel two days after my application.
My monthly salary can handle my travels and UNTIL I am about to make the trip, I invest my CASH!
My Payslip shows how much I earn. The flow through the account tallies with my payslip and my CSCS statement shows what I use the money to do! So the ECO need to judge whether based on my income I can afford the trip (not whether I have the cash already stored). How many people anywhere in the world keep $6,000 RAW cash just because of visa?
wanaj0: You can convince them by showing that you have regular income stream that can fund the cost of your trip.
You show that you are returning by showing your ties and investment in Nigeria.
Done that with at least three embassies. UK, US and Canada.
I don't think you actually mean what you just said here, you are applying for UK visa without any money to finance the trip, just payslip? The ECO needs to see how much you have at that moment in your account and NOT how much that comes into your account.
If you are given the visa today and your traveling in two days time, how will you travel without money? Payslip is not credit card.
Lucario007: this happened yesterday while i was driving through the Kuje Area Council in Abuja. Two men stole a car parked in front of a school and while on the run, they jammed into an okada rider and killed him on the spot. All the okada drivers started chasing the car before they realized it was a stolen one. While on the run from the okada riders, they crashed into others and some cars trying to stop them. once they realized the car could go no further they got out and prepared to run on foot only to be attacked by pedestrains who beet them to a pulp and threw them into a gutter and set them ablaze while still on alive.
Why is this so? they shouldn't have killed them on the spot since they were only about 17-18 years old. is this how Nigerian custom states that you should kill children if they steal. It would have been better if they went to court and the judge made the decision.
NOW LOOK AT THE IRONY: THEY WERE ATTACKED AND KILLED IN FRONT OF A POLICE STATION. and the silly people did nothing about it.
If you are old enough to steal a car and killed somebody at the process then you are also old enough to pay the price no matter how the punishment is delivered.
calebo101: Hello everyone, i want to apply for a professional course ABE at south thames college london. The fee is 4000 pounds for a year, i would make deposit of 3000 pounds. i currently have 2 million naira and in my account and i'm counting the 28 days. I really need to be guided so i do not make any mistakes. I am a first time applicant and would really appreciate advice from you guys on how to go about it. would the 2 million naira in my account suffice as maintenance funds for london? pls advice
London maintenance money is £7200, convert that to naira.
