You should have submitted more than invitation letter, ur family friend should have given u his or her bank statement or payslip and evidence of accommodation, like the tenancy agreement since u did not make any hotel reservation.

@Justwise
Whether you like it or not, you accept it or not Nigerians all over the world have earned notoriety for fraud in a way other nationals cannot be associated with fraud.
If you are a paid attorney with a brief to dissuade every one on NL of this stereotype you have already failed. Neither should you take this matter personal unless if it is truly personal.
The status of the average Nigerian in Europe and America has been reduced from 3rd class to a special class of our own. This is what u have to deal with whether u like it or not.
There is no doubt that Some Nigerians are into some shameful activites around the world, i accept that, however, there are far more decent Nigerians around than the fraudsters. When you said: Nigerians all over the world . . .you are basically painting everybody with the same brush and that is the part i disagreed with.

I was just trying to make a point through crude satire.You see Ive defended A.A black people in the U.S for years. Attempting to explain to Pol why they act gangsta, and their disproportionate involvement in crime. The reasons are obvious: marginalization, media, poverty, crack epidemic etc. People have often asked me why i dont act 'black', that is act like a (N-word), i would always say because I'm a Nigerian and our culture hasn't been shaped (ra.ped) the way A, A culture has. But then you see Nigerians, even immigrants, acting in the exact same way as the negative stereotype suggests, even selling drugs! there is no excuse for that. Are we silly enough to assume the stereotypes A.A's fight fought so hard to avoid? Ive often wonderd why i didn't end up acting (gangsta) like many Nigerians i know and honestly sometimes it seems like it was a miracle of nature.
That was bad idea, you u were trying to crack such a bad joke, u should have made any effort to cancel it b4 sending ur post.

There are millions of decent Nigerians out there, lets not try to generalise issues.

You must understand that the black man is by nature a n.igga, Wheather he be from Africa or America you place him into the appropriate situation he will regress into his natural state.
The goal of the average n.igga is to fulfill every negative stereotype about him while amassing great deals of flashy objects to fill the void in his soul. This void is secretly filled with shame, because deep down the n.igga wants to be a respectable black man but he is to lazy to put the the effort necessary.
You are a brain dead mor.on

, I swear to God who made me, I will be the BEST FRIEND SHE'S EVER bleeping HAD!!!!, On top of that, she uses herself as yardstick, listen to her, "Do you think I don't feel Hot too? Or that I am made of wood? You have to discipline yourself. I don't want it to look like we are making up only because of the sex. I have stayed 3 years without sex before I met you, why can't you do the same? You have to grow up and be a man.", Fellow brothers, because of this girl and to salvage the relationship I have started going to church Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays, I read Daily Manner, Prayer Bullets, Rhapsody of Realities, Open Heavens, Bible on my phone, bible in my bag, going for counseling,

^^^25omega, he is already listening to her and has changed a lot for his wife according to his original post. No sex since last October, some Nigerian girls know how to push men's buttons sha. Later they will be the first to complain that their husband is cheating on them, hiss.
@OP, its time to take a stand and be a man, this lady needs fear instilled in her, you need to start ignoring her, stop eating her meals, she needs to learn to submit to you. Eat outside before going home and when you get home and she serves you food, tell her that you are full, hang out with friends on the weekends till late, just get her mind rolling ( i am not asking you to cheat on her ohh) Just get her mind thinking that she is starting to lose you small small, before you know she will start asking you wats wrong and why are you behaving this way to her? Tell her since she has refused to perform her wifely duties, you have decided to take your mind off her and start hanging out with your friends who make you forget about your problems at home. Trust me, she will drop it like its hot because she will be sacred, you might be getting action from outside. grin
Do not submit to your wife, make her submit to you. That's the key buddy.
Wow!!! i can't believe i'm reading this from a woman.
