Good luck. giselle237: ... these five countries share signals The Five Eyes is basically an English intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK and USA. LadyJE: Please I sincerely would like to find out something. I have an Msc fully funded scholarship to study in the UK. I want to take my hubby and son along as dependents, however, the scholarship does not cover any of their costs. I have read carefully the instructions on the UK website but am a bit confused about the proof of funds. Should we print a one month bank statement only or is there a number of months one should print? Secondly, what can make them deny my husband and less than one year son visa to come with me? I don't think you understood the seriousness of what you did..maybe you were wrongly mislead then but asking this question shows that you are willing to misrepresent in your next application. Please on the section for "total amount of money you get in a year", please assist in what to write.
I have investments of 500,000 so I have ticked "Investment. So do I have to add this investment with the interest to my annual salary and provide in that field? Or I only have to write my annual salary in that field?
Please clarify Total amount means all the money you earn in a year..that includes interest |

frickyjohn: Hello @justwise steel101 and all the expert in the house.
I have a couple who I am not related to in anyway. They have been nice to me in church and I in turn wants to sponsor their honeymoon in the UK with 3Million naira.
My question is 1. can I just give them the money sent to their account. 2. Give them my 3 or 6 months statement of account and a cover letter stating that I am sponsoring the trip as a gift to them. 3. What are their chances of getting the visa since the husband can only afford about 300k on his own to spend on this trip. 4. Sending the money to the husband account might raise a red flag since he might not have enough convincing proof to defend that huge funds to his account.
I really want to make their martial journey sweet. Can they sponsor themselves without your money? |

profemebee: hi Justwise..
Looks like i forgot to photocopy my UK NARIC statements for ENGLISH LANGUAGE EVIDENCE... sighhhhh..
They're original docs..
I'm sad cos they don't come cheap, and i heard one advantage UK NARIC has over IELTS is that it doesn't expire in 2years like IELTS.. so its better to provide that for the visa extension in 2.5years time.. is that true?
I pray they return it with original docs Or i can re-order another statement for a cheaper cost with same application nos..
What do y'all think tho? Did you include self addressed envelop with your application sent to Sheffield? They usually return your documents with that envelop. |

ovi4real: Good afternoon all, @ Justwise, I have applied for Uk Visit visa twice for the past two years and was denied twice, first denial was wrong phone number from my invitee (my Mum which is based in the Uk) and secondly was an amount i put in my account way above my salary. And they said i do not earn upto that. Now i want to apply for the third time, in the section where it states what is the total amount i have for this trip, i intend saying i have nothing asin zero naira or zero pounds! Cause normally my mum is fending for my trip, in the previous applications i normally put 200 pounds and they reply saying i do not have sufficient funds for me to return back. I work and currently earn 90k. What do you advice pls? I think that your chances of getting the visa is very low and refusal is more likely |

ola1970: Please @justwise i am a first time applicant and i am a civil servant but the problem is, I loaned the money to fund my trip which is about,1mil and I intend to travel in October but will attend my interview t next week although the statement will be ready by Friday.I don't know if i should go ahead or not. I don't think it makes sense to take a loan for visiting visa, you will be refused if you can't explain how you got that money and if loan is mentioned then chances are that you will be refused. |

Adjo10: Hey folmus thanks for the update. I am very sorry if my language sounded harsh. Your update has indeed provided us with new information that I didn’t know about and thank you for that. In fact, I don’t know much and am learning a lot from posts here.
Do you think they probably applied for a family reunion visa instead of a tourist visa? I know in this case they may be required for a med test which is not necessary a pregnancy test. Some times one can mistakenly apply for the wrong visa.
I know a Nigerian friend who went for her tourist visa just last week and was not asked for a pregnancy test. But of course every situation may be different. Thank you very much folmus.
Cheers You are not 200% sure again that folmus was lying? I actually thought you have facts to dispute folmus post. |

Adjo10: Also take your time to read my post. I think the English is simple enough. Of course you can be denied a visa after meeting all the requirements. That is not what i implied. Adjo10: Clarification of certain things based on my personal experience. Stand to be corrected
1. Being pregnant does not disqualify you from obtaining a Brazilian visa so far as your stated intention matches that of the visa category being applied for. For example: tourist visa-for tourism and education visa-for education
2. Unlike the US (under medical treatment visa), There is no visa category for giving birth in Brazil. So if you apply for a tourist visa which is meant for tourism and state that your purpose for applying for the visa is to give birth, the immigration officer has no other option than to deny you the visa even if you show all the money in the world and tell them you want to give birth in a private hospital. There is just no visa category for you so you will be denied. This may work for the US but remember, US is US and Brazil is Brazil.
3. If you are pregnant and showing and apply for a tourist visa and convince the visa officer that your intention is for tourism and meet all the requirement, then there is no reason to deny you.
4. If you manage to enter with a tourist visa, you will not be denied medical care in Brazil in both public and private hospitals. When your baby is born in Brazil, the constitution guarantees your child Brazilian citizenship and a passport no matter the parents, nationality, visa status or the type of visa they use to enter the country. The constitution also states that parents of a Brazilian child cannot be expelled from Brazil no matter the reason. This means that the immigration office (Police Federal) has no choice than to grant you a permanent residency even if you came to the country with a tourist visa.
ADVICE
Apply for your visa before you start showing to avoid any problem. The most important thing is to enter the country. Your baby will be Brazilian even if you overstay your visa (I am not promoting overstay). I am just making a point. If you are already pregnant and showing, do not lie about it when asked just do not tell them your purpose is to go and give birth. Although it is advisable to apply when not showing.
Hope this was helpful. Cheers You just reminded me of Trump and Fox news. |
