Lunm: Ok...why can't he? Like he mentioned, his indicated visit period passed before he got the visa
I have applied for visas before, stated the intended visit period, travelled more than once with that visa, because it's still valid and I have not exceeded my max duration of stay on the visa.
But of course, you may have more information on this than I have experienced That’s not the same as staying longer than you stated in your application. When you are given multiple visa you are allowed to visit the UK as many times as you like |

glovekid: Hi justwise and everyone. My visa got approved 3 weeks after my intended travel date on my visa application. I said I was going to spend 10 days when I applied but can I spend up to 14 days now since the visa came out after my intended travel date?
Will appreciate your response. Thanks All Why do you want to stay longer than you stated in your visa application? |

Lunm: So far as it's within your visa's validity period (should see that stated in your visa page), you can stay for 14 days or more. Just read your visa page to confirm That is not true |

MISSYTOSIN: can I use a master degree certificate for the use of English? Or only first degree is acceptable? You still need to evaluate your masters/degree certificate with NARIC UK as long your certificate is not from the UK or other EU countries. |

Enick: Hello, genius in the Uk immigration issues,
Somebody sent me an invitation, and she wrote that she would provide me accommodate and support my during my 7 days UK visit. I am currently filling my online application form.
There is a section saying " Who is paying towards the cost of your visit? I Clicked - Someone I know..
Now, what should I write on HOW MUCH MONEY WILL THEY BE PAYING TOWARDS YOUR VISIT?
Also, should I remove the cost of accommodation and feeding on the breakdown of my expenses.?
Please reply. Thanks. If your friend is only providing accommodation and feeding then you write a letter explaining that and also state that you are paying for your flight. Selecting that somebody else is paying for the trip is not a good idea. |

akagson: Hi. So I have already submitted my Ds-160. I have the following corrections to make but I'm not sure if I can make it (and how?) without going through the rigor of creating a new DS-160.
1.)I initially entered Abuja as my venue, but now I'll like it to be at Lagos. 2.) I got a renewed passport number and would like to reflect the new passport number.
How do I go about it? Post here www.nairaland.com/5101710/usa-visit-visa-part-4 |

Monmarri: Many thanks Justwise for the correction. I appreciate. Please Justwise for the saving route u mentioned £16k, I am reading £65k and £16k. The complete saving route involves lot of money .However if you earn under the requirements for income you can use £16,000 min savings to make up the differencendly . Many thanks for the correction. I'm not sure it works like that, you can meet financial requirement by earning £18,600 a year, having £16000 savings or through your earnings as self employed. |

Monmarri: Check this link on Nairaland and post y questions. That is where u ask all y questions on UK spouse Visa Application https://www.nairaland.com/4454398/uk-spouse-visa-application-2018
For your brother to qualify for spouse visa, him and her British wife must be in a genuine relationship. There av to be proof on the marriage such as marriage certificate (court marriage certificate) marriage pictures, other pic together, communication from WhatsApp chat(the screenshots), emails, calls and face book messanger. All depends on what media they communicate. They must be prove. The British lady av to come to Nigeria and wed y bros in court, then go bk to UK and prepare her documents to apply for your brother. The requirements for her documents, she needs to be permanent staff , agency worker or self employed or can take the saving route which is lots of money, about £62,000 I think to meet the financial requirements. For the requirements under permanent she need to be earning £18,600 per annum bf she can bring in y brother, with six months payslips and six months statement of ac. For the self employed she either go through cat F or Cat G. U can read that on goggle for self employed. Just ask the lady the job requirements she has. I think she will know better.
For your brother he needs to write test of English exams. But this days if u av a degree certificate, u can visit your university and they write to embassy that doing y university u were taught in English language, depending on the course u study, then get your original certificate and transcript and take it to NARIC (They r the organization in nig. in charge of validation for test of English if u are a graduate) , y bros need to do TBS test, need to pay for nhs, write supporting cover letter.
For his chances of getting spouse visa is for the marriage to be genuine. The British lady meeting the financial requirements, accommodation, and meeting the visa payment, nhs, TBS. The lady must budget about £3000 for Settlement visa. If the lady meets all requirements for sure y brother will get spouse visa.
Well lot of money is involved, it is very compulsory for her to come to Nigeria and marry y bros, except she is going to apply for fiance visa, when y bros gets it, then they wed in UK and fille for spouse visa. The duration for visa process for Settlement is 60 working days but depending, some got in 50, 45. Except u apply for priority then u get it like 23 working days or less.
Note: Make sure y brother knows much about this lady and the lady meets all the spouse requirements bf deciding to marry. All the best to y brother. The savings amount is £16K and NARIC is a UK based organisation with no office in Nigeria |

joyivro: Justwise asked a question before dont know if u saw it. joyivro: Good evening just wise,on this statement matter I’ve already printed out my statement and my hubbys own because of time to upload so honestly how long before it’s not acceptable. Then if my hubby is the sponsor and I’m writing a cover letter does he still have to write. Then if I have money in an office thrift society can I add it with a letter from the society. And I’ve said it here before my budget is 1.8m for me and 2 kids, and hubby should have about 3m.thanks 1. How old is the printed bank statement? 2. Let your husband the sponsor write the sponsorship letter or both of you can 3. Yes you can add it with the letter from the society 4. You need to do a cost-breakdown so as to know if 1.8m will be enough |

RIGHT? Almost apart from the last bit about 2-4 months..2-3 is safer |

emadamysy: @justwise, I got my refusal letter this morning. I critically explained the irregularities with my monthly payment in my cover letter which was acknowledged by the VO, so i still dont know the exact reason for the refusal.
Kindly explain how best to tackle this and how soon can i apply You redacted so much of the refusal letter making it difficult to make sense of the refusal. |

sonmom: Advise on what to do next we want to apply, please note that i didnt provide invoices and receipts to back money deposited in the company account?..Thanks 1. You need to reduce your budget to represent 2-3 months of your income 2.You need to reapply with your personal bank statement while adding your company's account as the source of the money in the personal account, the cost of this trip will come from your personal account and not from your company's. Your company's money is for the running of the business. You use the profit from the business for personal travels. 3. Provide documents to support how you made the money in your account. |

Guys i need your help on this refusal letters we got this morning, myself and my wife..Attached are the copies, please go through and advice on what to provide next we apply and figures..Please be sincere with me where we went wrong and correct us..Thanks 3 main reasons for the refusal: 1. Your budget for the trip is well over your monthly income(6 times) 2. Using your company's money for a non-company's trip 3. Documents you submitted does not show that your company made the money as you stated. |
