Adtek: Hello House, Please I need your advice on my visa processing, I applied for a visiting visa B1 with my Dad in 2016 but I was denied and my dad visa was granted, even I was the one that answered all the interview questions. My Question now is that, can I apply for a student visa F1 without indicating that I have applied before? Will my data still be on their system? I have no travel experience? I only want to go and study more and come back to manage my dad's business. Oh yes! You can, it will even increase your chances of getting a visa. You know American embassy likes those Nigerians that struggle to tell the truth. Smh |

dgoodrich101: @justwise thank you and I really appreciate.
I am thinking of going back to Paris for 2019 summer since UK have decided to be like this.
But sir the money in my bank account which have even increased from the 1.8m submitted to 2m is my saving and salary account is that not explainable because the money is readily available for me and it was in the bank statement submitted and can the money in the bank statement be indicated as my savings.
Also sir what if my reduced my budget because I just checked online now and even found a cheap ticket for 176k from Los to Gatwick via Turkish airline so with that can i reduce the budget and get a cheap hotel in some dome. Will that help boost my chances.
Thanks so much appreciate. Yes money in your bank account is your savings and that is what that section is referring to. Reducing your overall cost will help your application as long as your budget is realistic. If you get a cheaper ticket or hotel then indicate it the way you did here. So yes you can give it a go or try France as you mentioned before |

dgoodrich101: Thank you for the update the true cost of the expenditure k budgeted according to my calculation is stated below sir
Air ticket Mother + Infant = 265,420 Transport one week travel card = 23,000 Sight seeing = 40,000 Shopping = 100,000 Accomodation Hotel = 150,000 Feeding = 50,000 Total = 620,000
This was the initial budget I have in mind when I submitted but now I am planning on reducing everything to fit in my 2 month salary which is 346,700 dont know how to go about this but it seems weird to me been saving and have the cash available to spend but I just don't know what to do will appreciate your assistance.
Also sir if I click on I the attached what do I fill their if i have shares and landed document. The focus here is on your salary mainly and that budget is going to blow up almost 4months of your salary. Share and landed property are not savings, that section is talking about cash savings. You may try another country for holiday |

peacenigeria: This is not true you should do more research. Any hospital or doctor that gives you a letter thats states, in writing, that no govt funds are used is more valid than heresay. I understand we Nigerians cannot be trusted, but lying, as would be in the case of the hospitals and doctors that confirm this, is a serious offense. The only way the hospital has the option to bill Medicaid is if you dont pay, whether it be the discounted rate (which should have been paid before the delivery) or the cost of the complication (if any). So you really believe that these hospitals are doing close down sales promotion? A bill of $30,000 will be discounted down to $2500 just because you are paying cash? |

Killingmesoftly: Hello Justwise sorry to disturb. Please the applicant is travelling for 12 days vacation and the budget he estimated for ECO is 650,000 flight ticket for 280k, accommodation ( hostel) for 76,000 and the remaining balance for living expenses and shopping. Is the 650k ok or he should make it 700k. Please I will appreciate y response. Thanks Personally i suggest he try another country if this is a genuine holiday else he is likely to be refused again because of his previous questionable application. Going to holiday to another country and apply for UK visa next yr will do him a lot good. If he insist on traveling to the UK then he can give it a go but that payslip does not look genuine. |

Jyyes: Good morning House.. Please I need some information on how to renew my visa. I had applied with my wife in Oct last year and we were both given 6 months each., we travelled to the Uak for 2 weeks in November 2018. Now I intend to renew our visa and this time with our daughter because we were blessed with a baby girl in January. I want to know how to go about the application, do I need to register a new account for this application or I will have to use my old account?? I will really appreciate a detailed explanation on what to do from any knowledgeable person from the house who has an idea. Thanking you all in advance. The application is the same process as your previous one, try your old account if you can't log in then open a new one to apply |

dgoodrich101: Hello Gurus In the House Thank you for the great Job.
I applied for 10days visiting visa to UK for tourism with my daughter and was denied visa I really dont understand and will appreciate if gurus in the house can help out on the what next to do
"You state that you are employed by XYZ company as a senior marketing officer earning a monthly income of N221,220 (471.222 Oanda exchange rate £1 = 469.062NGN) and that you have no other income or saving I. support of this, you have submitted letter in regards to your employment, payslips and bank statementsYou also state you intend to spend £1000 and that you spent N47850 £102.02) on a monthly living. Giving this I note the amount you intend to spend on your visit to the UK is approximately 3 times your monthly disposable income. Therefore I am not satisfied that your current financial circumstances are proportional to the financial outlay for your proposed visit.
@justwise your advise on the right step to take will be really appreciated I have a closing saving account of N1.8M the bank account serve as both my salary and saving account. And their is no large sum i have traveller out to France with my daughter for Holiday before last year, also I think where I made mistake was when asked do I have any other investment or saving I chooced No but when I submitted I submitted my Real Estate C of O and also my Zenith bank shares.and I actually budgeted £1000 for the trip because I will be paying for both the hotel and ticket from the amount.please help can I apply again or just let them be. It simply means that you are spending too much on the trip considering the fact that it will take more than 3months of your salary to achieve that. You should have declared your savings and investment and support it with documents. |

Killingmesoftly: Justwise many thanks for all your comments I appreciate. U are always saying the truth. But now what advice can u give us to explain to eco for the refusal? For this second application he wants to apply on his own, all the travel expenses is on his head. He is making a fresh application. Can he just go ahead and write the reason for the refusal was that Eco was not satisfied with the travel incentive money that was in his account. and his personal and financial circumstances and leave it like that? What do u suggest please That is all he has to do and make an effort this time around to be honest in his application. |

ozymes: @seyewest, Justwise, Omobendel,
Was sent a mail to go collect passport after Dropbox submission with an attached letter asking to schedule 221g interview to speak with a VO and the Visa was approved and issued. Select Yes to that question to be on the safe side because there are many interpretations to that 221g section of US immigration law. In some explanations you are advised to answer Yes to that question even after getting the visa

ozymes: Dear Members, Please just a clarification. If one does a Dropbox visa renewal application and was called for a 221g interview and the interview was successful and B1/B2 Visa issued. When filling a renewal form when the current visa must have expired, what would be the answer to the question have you ever been denied/refused a US visa before?
Cc: @Justwise, seyewest, omobendel Have you ever been refused a visa to US? You should know the answer |

Killingmesoftly: Thanks for your response Not copy and paste. It is stated in his employment letter. The letter is three pages and he just sent only this to me.
He did not claim one million . It is his employer that paid in the money. He said that the award was presented to him during the 2018 AGM by the CEO to travel to UK as best performing staff. I even attached the letter. Well from what I know the company is a very big company that is owned by an Igbo trader, the man is very rich Igbo trader so he is able to give such money as travel incentive. Attached is award certificate he just sent to me Please don't make me laugh, an igbo trader will give your inlaw those benefits listed in his payslip including 1M to visit London for 4days? Have you ever been to Abia, Onisha or Alaba international market to see how Igbos run their businesses? I'm 100% Igbo. |
