likelyq: Justwise Good day my brother. Thanks for the job ur doing. I downloaded the application form today. I work with a financial institution with income of 117k monthly. Annual of 1.9m. (As stated in the embassy reference letter sent to me from d office) including other incentives like upfront, 13th month n all dat. I also have a registered company as side business which i make up to 100k monthly. So let's just put it I make 200k monthly.
So in d form they asked ' what is my total monthly income from all sources. I have 1.2m in my salary account as savings, 250k in another account n 300k in my business account. ( I have products in my show glass worth like a million) my Biz offers product sales n services.
U suggested I submit my cac certificate n bank statement to support my documents. I haven't paid any tax anyway so no tax clearance I have some shares certificates I will submit as well alongside my car documents
Q1: what is my total monthly income from all sources ( 117k basic salary or 200k both basic n Biz ) Q2: what money is available for ur trip. I intend to spend Ans for a 7days trip £800 that's N380k( tryna work around 2.5 times my monthly income, since u advised that spending more than 2 months salary is a red flag )
Ticket 210k £453 Accommodation hostel 60k £127 Feeding 30k £50 Shopping n sightseeing 80k £170 Total 380k £800
Q3. Have u ever been refused visa for any country Ans : yes USA 2017 but I can't remember the reason in that blue paper. I was so angry to even read it. Maybe no travel history then so I went to Dubai.
Q4: Will not paying tax impose a problem. Its just an enterprise company anyways 1. Your salary plus your business income is the answer to that question 2. State a breakdown of your budget 3. Yes you have to answer yes and give brief explanation 4. Without paying tax how will you know your net income? |

Baggie887: I forget to include that i have a landed property which i leased out but do give me a revenue of 250k per year That's about 20K a month plus your salary = 70K Your budget of £700 is about N327,711, so you are planning to spend that amount in 8days while it takes you little above 12months to earn that. Even if you are traveling to witness the birth of Jesus in the U.K. Your chances of visa refusal is higher. |

Zeana112: Hello house, I would like to share my story, perhaps your contributions will go a long way in helping my application. 2012 April; Married a British citizen. 2012 July; Changes was made to Uk spouse Visa by British Government. Thus the minimum income requirement. 2012 December, I applied for spouse Visa despite that my wife wasn't earning 18600. She was earning little above 14000 pounds then. Feb 2013; Visa application was refused. August 2013; I applied for a Visiting visa which was refused. July 2014; Applied for a Visiting Visa, was also refused. Since then I haven't made any application. My wife and I had always been seeing either in US, Dubai or sometimes when she comes to Lagos. Now we have 2 girls aged 6 and 6months old. Due to her need to look after the children, she couldn't work full time. Now I am thinking of relocating to them and applying again using the cash savings route by selling my property in Magodo, Lagos. Which can raise well over the needed 62500 pounds savings we need for the application. I have own the property for well over 2years and I learnt I don't need to keep the proceeds for 6month if I am selling my property to show proof of funds. So far I can show the purchase and sales documentation. My question is; When I bought the house, I have all the deeds and letter of purchase from the real estate company, but the C of O document wasn't in my name, because the land was originally bought by someone that did the CofO which subsequently had be sold and resold before I finally bought the property. To this situation, I need an advice of what type of documents do I need to provide. Furthermore, can I just put the proceeds into my mutual fund account for 6 months and then withdraw to my savings prior to my application at the end of six months period. This way I can get statement for my mutual fund to show the origin of the funds. Thank you all. Since those children are British you don't need to show any money for them. The savings will be £16000 |

YourOgaAtTheTop: Yes justwise you're correct. The London school wants to show that they will be in charge of my living and all other expenses through the admission letter NOT their bank statement. (Do I still need to provide my own bank statement?) the Indian school is a private school and he said he will give his bank account statement to support my application.
Thanks Bro Regarding the UK school..you don't need to add your own bank statement if the sponsorship letter from the school covers everything. I'm not sure about the Indian school but it doesn't sound right to me |

Thanks! I'm not sure you understands what they meant because no school will send you bank statement. |

I did mine biometric on the 11th of March and I got message from UKVI that my visa application has been dispatched on the 25th of March. I went to TLS office on 4th of April to check if my visa is ready for collection, but on getting there I was told that it wasn't ready that i should wait for their mail.i didn't received any message from them before i went though. It's 11days now and i don't know why it's been delay. Please, what do you think it's going on because my departure date is less than two weeks now. From Saturday June 9th 2018 to friday 05 April 2019 300 days 42 weeks 6 days 9 months 26 days This visa is nothing but God and it’s a intellectual war between me and the VO that handled my application.

To all May June and July applicant slide in my pm, I have a secret for you guys.
I actually went to anifowoshe on Wednesday. The person I met just like me at first sight and he told me the secret then he prayed for me and wish me good luck. I may go back there and tell him thank you.
This visa suffered me. The day I did my biometrics, VAC was still working till 8 pm that day, I left home around 7 and left VAC 7 pm. I was sleeping on steering... I almost had an accident that very day but God came through for me. So whenever I remember that day and imagine why my visa is still pending, tears will drop from my eyes and I will look up to God.
I contacted more than 150 MPs (senators) in Canada then on Wednesday I gathered mind and drive straight to Anifowoshe.
I was in the movies watching “Hotel Mumbai” as soon as they finished the movie, I saw the alert in my email address.
I will recommend you guys to watch that movie and thank me later.
God is indeed faithful Nara ekele chineke. May June July, don’t lose hope, your visa is sooner. Don’t forget to hit my pm. “God answers prayers”
God bless everyone that is reading this my success story. Whatever you ask from God, don’t give up, he knows your worries. He will answer your prayer.
“When God wants you to grow, he makes you uncomfortable”
Please don’t mind my typo error. I am so eegxited. Congratulations! |

iche123: Good day everyone especially justwise for all your good works.I recently came to be aware of this group and have read and gained alot from hundreds of pages in this forum from highly respected professionals. Thanks ones again for all your good works.i need your advise please.I actually schooled in the UK for my MSC Marketing from January 2013 to 2014 and actually came back December 2014.I have applied for visiting visa on September 2017 but was refused because the VO observed that there was inconsistent deposits in my account. Then my wife got admission to study Msc and i applied together with her as her dependent on December 2017 but the VO rightly refused us because we wrongly left the fund (balance of tuition fee and maintenance) in my account instead of my wife's account as the main applicant.I applied again for visitors visa around October 2018 but it was also refused because the VO refered to my previous refusals and also pointed that there was not enough transactions in my account statement and also i did not present any assets i have in Nigeria. Now i got admission for a master by research programme (MRES) on Business Management for September session,my question is,will my previous refusals be a challenge for this new application and two, do i meet the progression criteria having studied in UK previously on MSC marketing.I actually want to progress to a Phd programme with the help of this programme. Thanks all and hope you will do justice to my present challenge. 1.Did your wife finally got the visa? 2. Are you planning to apply together with her now? Regarding the progression question...you really have to take your time and explain to the ECO the difference between these two courses and your career plan after the study. |

DMainMan: No. You are incorrect. You can use it for also visitor visa.
I used it when I sponsored someone.
It is also in the UK visa website.
" Use ‘Form SU07’ to support the application of a person who is applying to come to the UK to visit or settle.
This form is to confirm that you will be responsible for the applicant’s maintenance, accommodation and care, without relying on public funds:
for at least 5 years, if they are applying to settle
throughout their stay in the UK if they are applying to visit"
Source: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/sponsor-a-visa-applicant-form-su07 Obviously you don't get it, you don't need that form for visiting visa. You don't spend 5yrs in the UK on visiting visa |

Nnelily: Good morning and I appreciate your good works.
Pls advise us. My husband works with Dangote cement company, he's salary is just a 120k Of course he makes times 4 of his salary from side runs cos their are such opportunities but u know this can't be enlisted when applying since it isn't tied to his salary but like 500k inclusive of salary hits his account monthly. I run a business that gives me 100k on an average monthly but it isn't registered yet. My sister in law, his sister is married to a Nigerian doc in the Uk and they will have a child in maybe one year cos they just got married and she plans to settle b4 taking in cos she just relocated courtesy of her husband . We plan on visiting them when she puts to bed so this is a one year plan. My husband has 7million in his account and could become 10 or 12m in one year time after projects and upkeep since he still makes money from other hustles. Should I register my small business so it will be one year plus when I apply for visa when the time comes. Do we tell them to invite us when it's time and what kind of visa are we applying for. I just want a general guide to get this visa when the time comes. I hate heartbreak hahaha. I have never traveled likewise him. He hates to travel in short. We intend to spend like 600k to 1m on the entire vacation to my inlaw which is far bigger than his earnings but not bigger than his side runs that much. We have a good acc balance remember. We have a child as well. I have asked him to change job for better pay but his so much interested in his side runs and hustle which everyone does in the company. It is not fraud but just getting buyers for their product and getting percentages and he said no company will pay him such amount he makes for now cos sometimes he makes big cash. He has worked 5 years. What's your best advise? Thank you. Yes they need to send you an invitation letter and you need to apply for visiting visa. Since this is one year ahead you need to read this thread as all the information you need is here |
