obi500cent: HI EVERY ONE
MY HEART IS BROKEN AS I WAS REFUSED STUDY VISA BY THE AUSTRALIA EMBASSY ..THE REASON WAS BECAUSE
I DID NOT DECLARE I WAS REFUSED United State visa three times and so i was rejected based on misleading and false information...i told the embassy it was an oversight and wasnt intentional but the still refused my visa ..
QUESTION: Can i apply again. what are my options or should i wait until three years... This is for people who have been arguing blindly that Australia don't share info with US and other countries or the embassy don't have time to check. |

I will start paying more attention to this thread as i have noticed that more and more people are ready to encourage people to circumvent immigration rules.
Nobody will use this thread again to deliberately spread misleading info without backing that up with evidence. |

JewelStone: That's misleading info, UNE Isn't AL1 at all. If you want to know how to check which level of assessment unis fall under, use the link provided by Westafrican.
@justwise, you're always on here arguing what you don't know. Countries don't share people's data except the person is suspected of crime, or was previously arrested in one those countries, even the backwater link you posted says so if you read further. As student visa applicants, Embassies work with the info provided to them, they have absolutely no time to check everyone's data with other countries, again, except the application seems suspicious or the applicant is from a very high risk terrorist country.
This is how you hid my post because I responded to a question that Embassies don't have time to confirm every bank statement, considering the amount of applications the receive, unless it's outright suspicious. Banks don't just release people's info, it's a breach of confidentiality and they can be sued, I know this because I worked in a Nigerian bank for years, and I have friends who are senior officers in Embassies.
I understand that you want people to do the right thing and I want that as well, but you don't have to lie or mislead people just to scare them. You can encourage people to do the right thing by telling it as it really is, and letting them know the consequences of their choices.
Plus Nigerians need to understand their rights to privacy and confidentiality when dealing with Embassies and other organisations. You just managed to contradict yourself there and still went ahead to make assumptions based on no credible evidence. One of the reasons why many of you are jumping out to depend these lies is because you people encourage it All of you saying countries don't share info can't even provide a single evidence to back up your lies and misleading info. Yes the issue about whether bank disclose customer's info to the embassy or not will never be discussed here because only a dubious person will worry about that. I don't care how many years you have worked in the bank. |

WestAfrican: I know someone in australia who recently got his visa. His uncle in America sponsored him. If your are under AL1 its fine otherwise you will need those aforementioned to sponsor you. An uncle is not a stranger, an uncle can sponsor his nephew or niece if his is financially capable because they share the same family name. |

WestAfrican: Yes there are heaps of good people every where except for most african countries which Nigeria is very much included. There are good people in australia who have individually sponsored others for permanent residency. Most Oyibos are good people they help without thinking twice or looking for repayments. I am a testimony.
I just used the Documentary Evidence List to access myself on AL1 applicant but found out that things have changed since 31st of March 2017 The Document Checklist Tool has been updated.
If you intend to lodge a student visa application on or after 31March 2017, you are encouraged to re-check the document checklist based on your country of passport and education provider before lodgement. Your evidence requirements might have changed.
Prior to that date anyone could sponsor you. For example:
If your parents are old and have retired?
If your parents helped your sponsor when he was growing up and now he decided to help you in the name of payback?
If your sponsor sees you a lot of prospect in you and decided to invest in you?
If your sponsor is a philanthropist?
Here is a link to assess yourself: https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/500- Dude please stop giving people false hope and be honest with them. Yes there are good people but how many are willing to spend millions on strangers on constant basis? |

WestAfrican: Immigration hardly check on that or even deny your visa base on that. Australia may share database with New Zealand and USA with Canada but not UK and USA etc. Immigration does not have the time to do background checks on that. But then it doesn't mean one has to lie about it when asked. Honestly I can't believe that this is coming from you. Immigration does not have time to do their job? Who told you that? |
Travel › Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by justwise(mod): 5:30am On Apr 03, 2017 |
WestAfrican: Yes it adviceable not to have money lodgment but if you do, you can cover yourself by having your sponsor write a letter of sponsorship and that he has deposited some funds in your account for the purpose of your studies. Hopefully the money lodgement doesn't come from many different sources.
Yes anyone can sponsor you only if you have applied as an AL1 applicant.
The total balance in your account does not really matter thou you need to have a constant inflow and outflow of funds and a reasonable amount of money as a closing balance. That is not true, why would a complete stranger invest millions in you and how would you convince the embassy that it is act of charity/good will gesture? |

santity100: The information I gave is a fact based on my experiences and it depends on applicants to choose their path.
I won't talk about it again as i feel it is wrong to encourage people to lie but that information is not misleading as it is based on numerous practical experiences.
Case closed. Of course the info you gave out here is misleading and dangerous to say the least. Its not factual and can only lead to refusal and possible ban. Please put a stop to this, this thread should only be used to encourage applicants to do the right thing. |

santity100: Are you a visa agent ?
Have you done various visa applications for over 100 students and visitors in the last 5 years ?
This is what we have been doing since 2005.
People deported from USA and got Canada visas to return back to the USA by crossing.
Don't let me be spilling here. You don't know what you are saying.
This is a fact. The only embassies that share info are schengen countries.
You only saying based on your assumption. Like i said to you before stop deceiving and misleading applicants here, do not encourage them to lie or withhold any info in their visa application form. International travelers often have these questions: Is my data safe with a country when I apply for a visa? Is it shared with other countries? If the U.S. denied my visa will the Canadian Embassy have access to this information? The answer to all these questions is ‘Yes’ and that can be alarming. 2009 marked the year that officially allowed the exchange of specific biometric data between participant countries of the ‘Five Country Conference (FCC).’ The member countries, namely: the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, agreed to share biometric data from applications for visa and other immigration benefits of potential immigrants to jointly combat illegal immigration under the High Value Protocol Data Sharing (HVDS) initiative. http://lawquestinternational.com/article/immigration-data-shared-between-nations |

santity100: Check what randomly ?
I am 100% certain.
How will they check ?
They will send your biometrics to where ?
Deportees from UK and other European countries are getting visas to Australia, Canada and USA.
I am not supporting people being fraudulent or whatever but one embassy won't know you have been refused by the other unless you have their stamp or you inform them.
For the record, the only central information for migration purpose is the UN Asylum and refugee database. This is wrong and misleading. Embassies share info and will know when you have been refused by other embassies. |

santity100: They can't know that you have been refused if you don't tell them. I know people will contest this but I have many experiences on visa applications. There are loads of people deported from London that got USA visas etc.
As you have been denied by another country, it will surely limit your chances.you can include it and put all the evidences from canada embassy. Meanwhile your application will be thoroughly scrutinised so I will advise you provide them all your supporting documents a very good sop.
It depends on the case officer, he or she might be impressed that you opened up or he or she might increase scepticism towards to your application.
Pray. Stop encouraging people to lie and at the same time talking about prayer. |

Elnida: the most obvious place for low income earners is Maraba,Ado, Masaca, Nyanya.. it takes you 100 by Luxury cars to be in town.. Another place is Mpape some even call it Maitama extension. Inside are other places who have cheap and moderate houses of 50,000+ and rugged ones of 30,000. Durumi, Dutse,Jahi 1&2,kado kuchi,Karmo, Wumba, kabusa, Apo village, lokogoma village..it all depends wia U work. but all the aforementioned are cheap.. and with 40,000 and prudence, you have no problem. If he spent average of 30K on rent a lone in one of those places you mentioned how about bills, feeding, transport etc? Maraba and Nyanya especially are not low income earners zone anymore |

I know peeps earning 20k that still can afford to have girl friends.
40k will do and you will still have some to save. I know Abuja, lived there from 1993 till 1999, when i visited Nigeria a month ago i spent most of my time in Abuja. Those cleaners and security guys you talked about are not paying rent, feeding and transport on 30K or less let a lone taking care of wife and kids. They are obviously living with relatives or friends rent free |

oloolo: Good day just wise and other gurus in the house..
I intend travelling to the u.k for the first time on vacation. My actally date of travel was supposed to be last month but I had to shift it to this month because of work.
My question is, in my form I stated that I will be visiting London for a one week stay. But now I want to just spent one night in london and head to Dublin to see my cousins I intend spending 2 weeks. My cousin has already booked a return bus ticket to take me from london to Dublin the second day after I arrive (and back in 2 weeks) as I want to visit a lot of attractions in london. I need to to state that I did not declare that I have any family member in the UK. I have also booked a hotel for my one night stay in London. I will also be traveling with about $2500 for shopping and pocket change. .
I hope the Point of entry officer will not raise issues Not keeping your story/record straight when applying for visa does not help your immigration record. 1. You stated that you will be staying in London for one week but now you want to spend a night and spend 2 weeks in Dublin. 2. You stated that you don't know anybody in the UK but now want to visit your cousin for 2 weeks who lives in the UK. There is a reason why many Nigerians find it difficult to get a visa and that reason is obvious. |
