ekpotek: Hi @Justwise is it advisable to arrive 3-5 days earlier than planned date of arrival. This is due to cost of air ticket which is cheaper if arriving 5 days earlier. Note visa was issued on 1st March 2017. Thanks. I will do the same if i were in your position, i don't see them sending you back because of it. Ticket price now is crazy! I was supposed to visit Nigeria this month but while i was searching for ticket i realised that traveling earlier will save me about £400 and that was what i did and traveled last month. |

cyan2008: I think this bis just a calculated attempt of silencing prophecy and chain the Word.
Why is this allegations coming up? Must this conspiracy of the highest order not emanating from those who think the Man of God has challenged the silence of Christians over the gruesome murder of their brothers in the North? I am just thinking thinking aloud.
But for the Utobo of a lady, I don't really know what you intend to achieve.
You have publicly proclaimed yourself a prostitute trained in sleeping with Men of God. Whether Apostle Sulleman is guilty, is yet to be established.
But I am too sure that there is a drummer in the forest drumming for that bird that dances at the center of the road.
But message to all Christians and every man and woman of good will is to stand resolute and condemmn human right abuses in all its forms and manner.
Who is the next Prophet to be targeted? Can you show me where she said that? |

Ugo88: Hello house, please I want to clarify an issue. My husband to be is still married to an eea wife on a contract though in U.K. He will be getting his ILR by February 2018 and will be applying for a spouse visa for me by April. Also we intend on having a child now. My questions are:
1. Do we have to wait a little time after getting his ILR and processing his divorce before applying for me.
2. If I have a child now, won't it be suspicious that I got pregnant during his time with the eea partner. Avoid that by all means. This is risky and may land your husband in jail because Polygamous marriage is illegal in the UK |

Yes that is why the world is screwed up, wrong people given a job not because they are qualified but because they know somebody while those with qualification without connection remain jobless. Great right? Dude stop jumping up on this as if its the right thing to do, just because some crooks do certain things doesn't make it right!! |

gypsey: you obviously didn't notice the sarcasm. if you are not an immiga officer or her employer i wonder how you came to your conclusion that i was lieing or she is not a qualified immigration officer. besides since when has people must be qualified before the get a job? one could just put one of their families in a position were they are a superior i seen them ( white folk) do it all the time. So CHILL! I don't need to be her employer to know that no immigration officer refuses people entrance because they just want to, that is unprofessional. Before you are given a job you are deemed qualified to a certain level because you were able to answer questions regarding the job during the interview. Or you have classroom/practical experiences. Your wife must be pride of you right now. |

Is either you are lying or your partner is not qualified to be an immigration officer. |

alt3r3g0: I believe this was after the 24hrs delay and deportation..when the plane to Nigeria stopped over.
Deportation of pregnant women has been going on for ages though due to various reasons..main one being lying during the Visa interview. This is the second case of Nigerian giving birth prematurely after been refused entry to US, last year a Nigerian woman gave birth to quadruple in the U.K ranking up £500000 unpaid bill. Sadly two of the twins died. She collapsed at Heathrow airport on arrival from US and was rushed to hospital |

Eastner: No Justwise, this is actually my first application. My husband visits my son and I in Nigeria, regularly. Our son was born in lagos and we processed his british passport, right here in lagos. I have nigerian passports from 2006,2011(which was submitted as part of son's passport process) and the latest passport with my change of surname in it. I included all of these passports(hoping to establish some sort of tie to nigeria, since i'd never applied for a visa before, even before the financial requirement came into place). And i've been in a relationship with my husband since 2005,before we got married in 2012. And i've been working at my present job since 2008. I did feel, all of this would show i had roots right here,in this country and will definately return back to my job. I understand what you are saying, it's one of those cases where a different ECO would have seen things differently. This refusal has given you an idea what to write as personal statement for next application. With good explanation as you stated above your chances of getting a visa is higher if you decided to reapply. |

ifeoluwakintan: Sorry i couldnt attached thr document.
Here is their decision as stated in the refusal note;
The decision: I havr refused your application for a visit visa because i am not stisfied that you meeet the requirements of paragraph(s) 4.2A &E of Appenix V: Immigration Rukes for visitors because i note that you have previously visited the USA and returned to Nigeria. You were visiting your two children who are resident there. You state that you will travel to the UK dor 2 weeks. When asked on the visa application form what you will do in the UK you have stated "I intend visitinf toruist attractions such as the famous and moat talked about Buckingham Palace and other interesting places. Most importantly rest and enjoy the country". You have not given details of what you may wish to see or do on what may be your first visit to the UK and you appear to have no plans for your arrival in the United Kingdom. You have also noy provided satisfactory wvidende of sufficient and available funds to support the visit you propose. In view of the abovr and you apparent lack of preparation for your visit, i am not satisfied of your intentions in wishing to travel to the United Kingdom now.
Justwise please note that he attached the followings; 1. Salary Account Statement for 6 months 2. Landed property worth 7.5 million with evidence layout and receipt 3. Letter from his organization 4. Letter of employment 5. Staff ID card and Tax clearance 6. Payslip 7.Hotel Booking confirmation 8. Flight itinerary
What could have been the problem @justwise @all The problem here is lack of detailed info about the trip and breakdown of expenditure. He should have stated places he tended to visit while in the UK and a break down of his budget for the trip. How much did he budget for the trip and what is his salary range? |

Eastner: Hello Justwise..Ladylco Trust you are fine,..I received an email yesterday that my passport is ready for collection, went to pick it up today and got visa denied. Reason for the refusal,is because the money my husband is more than what i earn,it appears i rely on support from relatives outside Nigeria.I do not have incentives to come back. Also,my husband and son are both british citizens. And so,they doubt i will return at the end of the visit. Please find attached the refusal letter. M quite devastated.. What do u make of the reasons? I attached letter from company, shares, land property, son's introduction letter,results,pictures..everything that shows i've got a job and he's schooling. Sorry to hear about the refusal, do you regularly visit your husband and kids in the UK? If yes when was the last time you visited them? |

lusen: Mr justwise. There is no way we won't talk about agents on Australian student's thread because most universities in Australia will refer students to an agent after application has been made. These schools has representatives in different countries and students must go through any of these rep to help process the admission, visa etc.
Prospective students should understand that they dont need to pay any money to an agent once the school refers them. I was made to know by my university that there is a certain percentage of our school fees that goes to our agent. therefore; why should they charge again for the admission/visa processing? You've deleted my earlier post. I only felt the information might be useful to some. That I gave my personal experience doesn't mean i'm promoting or recommending any agent. You can not discuss about any agent here and i'm serious about this, if the school referred you to any agent go ahead and use that agent there is no need coming here to discuss that. We can not debate, promote or recommend one for you or anybody here |

I think the moderators should do their job by suspending uncouth users. As stated in the topic, it should be about that and people saying its on page 5 and we should scroll, anyone who comes here in 2017 wants an updated information for their search not some old tales of 4 or even a year agO. People should also always return and post information on their experience. I hope this works and we can have an updated information on procedures, prices, states, poe and all these things. Thank you all. No info here is outdated but if they are not useful you can as well stay back here to get it updated. |

ekpotek: @Justwise. A big thank you. I collected my passport today with 5 years UK visa. I submitted on the 24 February at Ikeja and got a mail to pick up my passport on 3rd of March. Visa was issued on the 1 March. Visa issued by UKIV01 with a British Deputy High Commissioner stamped behind. Meaning that my application must have been processed at VI even though I got a mail from Sheffield on the 27 February that my application was with them for consideration. I also noticed that the visit visa was not categorised, just c-visit. My previous visit visas use was c-visit-business. Congratulations! Great news |
