Do I need to show 820 (two months maintenance fees) plus 50% balance of my course fee in my account as bank statement? The total course fee is 7500 and I need to pay a deposit of 50%.

Will I be applying for an extension or a new tier 4 visa?

sunnychic: I thought the EU directive supercedes all of the national laws. Am I wrong? What's ur take? At least they don't have financial requirement and the requirements for the join spouse visa makes it seem so straightforward.

Chaze85: Hello guys i enter money for my maintenance on July 4 friday but I started counting July 5 Saturday and it will be 29days today I'm planning to print on monday august 4 for my statement of account dated from July 5 Saturday till august 3 sunday making 30days is it ok?cos i start in weekend and end in weekend

I was issued with a two year B1/B2 visa recently to attend a conference in California come July.

Unfortunately, i will not be able to attend the conference anymore. I got a summer job few days ago and it's obvious my employer will not oblige my request to travel for the conference.
Now, my question is this: Eventually if i didn't travel for the conference again which it seems like, will it affect me at the port of entry if i decide to visit during Christmas holiday or some other time within the two years of expiration of the visa?

dkby: @Justwise and Cutieme while you confirm the authenticity of that information, just an update, I sent a copy of that letter to an immigration officer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja, he confirmed to me that the letter is tenable. Hope that link help people that are willing to visit Zimbabwe, even the VISA fee is relatively cheaper than what is paid at their embassy here in Abuja.

I will go to my school on Monday by God's grace and have this discussion with them and also get a written agreement.

Is it alright if the letter I get from the school is dated Monday, knowing that the school has been suspended, will it not affect my application?

dkby: Hello peeps, I have a seminar to attend in Zimbabwe at the end of the month, a friend in Zimbabwe sent me a link to apply for their VISA online. 48 Hours after application I got success mail. It reads "The above mentioned has been authorised to pay for their visa on arrival at the port of entry, the statutory fee to be paid is USD 30.00 for the stated visa and the passport holder is subject to arrive on or before 12 Nov, 2014". I want to confirm if that is OK. I dont want to have any issue, I have already paid for my flight tickets and the seminar fee. Justwise and Co kindly help.

tobee: Thanks a lot Don, I tried removing the document from lamination but I messed my Unilag certificate. The seal came off , so I quickly ran to Unilag. Fortunately , they attended to me well . They collected the bad seal from me, shredded it, and put another one on it. I was scared though.

Now @justwise and others , pls do I need to notify British embassy about this correction as the seal kind of shows a little at the back.

Now, i intend to visit US in September for a two week holiday before we resume our first semester final year.my fear is if i will be allowed to enter US at the port of entry since i did not come for the purpose in which the visa was issued (i mean the conference)?
