And even if he were, is that the agreement both of them agreed on? Because if he does all that a traditional wife does for a providing husband and she’s fine with providing, I don’t see what the issue is. The most important thing being that each party is happy with their roles regardless of what outsiders think they should be doing according tradition.

I woke up yesterday morning only to receive whatsapp messages and phone calls from family and friends on my contact list that they received a message of me being a criminal and "loan prostitute" on the run with company funds because of few days overdue loan. For your info, I'm an educational consultant and I also teach on part-time basis.. It is different from full time teaching. I render services on contract and our working terms and conditions differ.
We work fewer hours, close in time and and earn more.

Before I became my own boss, I used to walk out on them when they start shouting or talking rudely to me. Sometimes I shout back. Kpata kpata na sack.

Then I was still young and staying with my parents. So I damned the consequences. Even the last one, I was already staying alone but I picked up my bag and walked out on the director as she was shouting.
It was after that I prayed that I was never going to work for anyone again. That God should establish me. God answered and today, I don't face such. The highest would be to dialog with a school director and resolve it amicably.

So background. I am American. Haitian background. I am a nurse practitioner. My husband works in engineering. We have 4 kids. One with special needs. Married 10 years. He comes from a very poor background. I do not. We are in debt in due student loans,mortgage and our kid has medical needs and will probably need care for life. We both work and built life together.
He always said he was going to wait several years before building a home back home..he always said this. While sometimes I worked 2 jobs to make sure we stayed afloat. He got multiple job and first thing he did,instead of helping to pay debts to relieve me or save for our kids especially the one with medical needs etc was behind my back build a 60,000usd home for his parents.
Everyone knew except me. I found out cos u wen to his phone to get some pictures and found it. It breaks my heart cos we have built life together and I have struggled with this man and instead of relieving my stress so I don't have to work so hard he takes 60k and builds a mansion for parents. We have literally no savings ofr ourselves or our kids. That to me is irresponsible. His parents already had a home and we send nearly 400 a month for upkeep. Meanwhile all the money my special needs kid has is from my own pocket. We have 3 other kids without savings at all

My dad (after spending 2 weeks recovering in the hospital after a successful surgery). Prostrate cancer. I was actually by his side when he passed. 200 level Uniben, many many years ago. After his death nothing else can make me feel that level of pain anymore. I am hardened. Going 12 years now

There are two worlds that we live in

1. The physical world

You don’t have even 1% control over the physical world but we can control our mental world 100%, but again controlling our mind fully is very very very hard but not impossible. This world will be extremely beautiful if we could control our mind at least 50%. Rather than trying to make things right in the physical world, try to train your mind.

We all have problems, we all have just 24 hours a day, we all need to eat food, we all need treatment if we fall sick and so on… Never think you are alone and that it's only you who has all the problems in the world and every one else is having a chilled life.

Problems are there for everyone however there are people who are not bothered even if they go bankrupt and on the other side there are people who will lose their mental peace and strength if they lose few coins/cents.

The physical world (the pleasures, money, bling blings, benzs etc) cannot damage you if you have a strong mind.

A weak mind will never find happiness and peace even if they are protected by Special security Forces. I am afraid you have a weak mind.

It all comes down to how well trained our mind is.
