Tevez scores

And now we have more drama in the last 3 mins than we have had all day.

Cheese and rice, the Chelsea backline of Terry and Carlvaho were horrendous in their marking for that goal  grin

And Lampard scores.

Was about to state he's been officially useless in this game.

Guess my stand that the  incident that can probably light this game up is a grand entry into the stand by Vanessa in a Chelsea jersey with Wayne Bridge's name and number and the back is now stale with Lampard's goal. undecided

Irresponsible freekick to give away by Richards, more irresponsible is the execution by Malouda.

What a miss by Drogba

With this early goal, what is left for Inter is a typical Mourhino formation.Using Maicon,Milito and Eto's on fast break.

Really what happened to Alex and why the decision to use Malouda as LB?

Chelsea's midfield seem in disarray too. undecided

My bet is still on the game to end in a draw though.

Chamakh is 26 - he should be very good for all the money Bordeaux wanted us to pay and for the money Wenger is alleged to be offering him.

Henry wasn't 26, neither was Ade (official age anyways grin)

Why spend so much on a player if he can't come in and start making a big difference? Why not go for someone else? That would be my argument. I'm not writing him off in one game alone though, but I will be following his performances from now till the end of the season to see if he's even worth the noise.

Not sure I want a slightly more skilled and composed Bendtner - would be looking at someone who can make a significant impact for the side and not another 'developer'.
I do not have a high expectation of him and i will be surprised if his goals return is out of this world on his arrival. But for "great" performances here and there(especially against Bayern in the UCL),he is as ordinary as they get.

And yes,Ade's actual age will never be known except by his parents and family members grin

My conclusion is that DK is sexually deprived - virtually every statement of his is of a sexual nature.

Enough of the rubbish.

Anyone watching Olympiakos vs Bordeaux? I've seen nothing special by Chamakh in this game. . . . he's been peripheral all through.
Henry and Manu were not exactly "balls of fire" before they landed with us or were they? The only snag to the whole set up is how soon he adapts to the pace and physicality of the EPL.While we can take solace from the fact that none of our recent signings has take long in "acclamitizing",my personal opinion of Chamakh is that he is nothing but a more composed and skillful Bendtner.
Music/Radio › Re: Nigerian "hiphop" Music Scence Is Just As Over Hyped As "nollywood" by kaypumpin2(m): 1:12am On Feb 23, 2010
The Nigeria music industry(not just Hip Hop) is definately not over hyped.Of course there has been a certain deluge of joy that pervades the air as per the industry, but it is only sysnonymous with the joy that heralds the coming back of a man who has been in comatose. It is welcomed and can not be termed unncesasary.

Definately there are lapses here and there but these are just setbacks that can and WILL be corrected over time as the industry is still growing and there is room for great improvement.NO ONE CAN term an industry that has like Cobhmas,Don Jazzy,So sick,Cabasa,Jesse Jags,Pherosheous, et al lacing beats for artistes like 9ice,MI,Mode 9,Keffe,Asa, and other artistes OVER RATED.It is rather a budding and nascent industry that should be praised and constructively criticized.

Plus are we really comparing our industry with what holds in countries like US especially?

@Dudu

Where i personally find the youth mantra ridiculous is in the area of Wenger refusing blatantly to ADD experience when it is EXTREMELY needed. The mistake was glaring in 07/08,made worse by the fact Flamini and Hleb were allowed to leave at the beginning of last season and yet again we are in the same TRAP right now.Everyone and his dog knows getting an attacker will add an impetus to our campaign this season but what do we have?

It's a bit "luxurious" to always use the youth policy as a leeway and i think it's over played. You may want to read the below excerpt:

But Fabregas has gone so far as to state that the club cannot even blame the growing injury crisis, and that the players just have to get on with it.

Fabregas said: "We can't hide behind people saying we are too young, or we have injuries. We just have to compete.

"People say you must learn from your mistakes, but you learn how to play football when you are 12, 13, 14, 15. You don't learn these things when you are 25.
That is from the club captain.Enough said.

I was talking to a friend in France sometimes ago about how i think our whole set up needs a correct atmosphere.Believe me,even the kids at Man U are not extra-ordinary but the winning mentality the senior squad has is an added advantage to the up coming lads. This present team needs to win something, anything to know how it feels to be a winner.

Players like Messi, Ronaldo, Kaka, Xavi, Iniesta etc.
Are you sure Song can walk into Stoke FC or Chelsea? Never mind Barca or Inter Milan.
While you are absolutely correct about the defination of world class, how can you say such of Song undecided You mean Song will not bench Mikel or whoever is their DM in Stoke?

Save for his inability to shoot,i dare say Song is quite close to Essien now in the area of marking and positional awareness.

Oh how can i forget Piennar cool

I disagree with you, It depends on ones interpretation of the title and in what context, in this context, I'm talking about players that have gone

from decent to literally world class

God bless you on the bolded part
World class?i do not know about o.But by improvement i think we should be talking about mere squad players who have become an important and integral part of thier team.Given has always been a great keeper. It's like Harper moving to Arsenal now and making a vast improvement on what Almunia is,of course anyone that hasn't followed is exploit will be quick to term it an improvement when it is just a continuation of what's he has always being.

Aaron Lenon is also there with a shout.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Most Improved Epl Player This Season by kaypumpin2(m): 11:35pm On Feb 12, 2010
To talk about improved player(s) this season is to talk about players who never had it last season.By this defination names like Song,Dunne,Shay Given,Bellamy et shouldn't even come up.Song started his resurgence last season,Dunne has always been good for Man City(his occasional blunders aside),Given has always been top-notch and Bellamy's case has always been that of injury.

I am lovin Assou Ekoto,Carlton Cole,Joe Hart,Fellini and Etherington this season.
Then i take it you don't watch Man Utd games.

Valencia scored 7 goals throughout his 3-year career @ Wigan.
He's scored 7 at Man Utd in less than 6 months and he is up there with 5 assists.
Valencia was a better player at Wigan. If we are to go by logic,do we say Berbatov is now shyte cos he's scored lesser goals in Man U jersey as against what he had in WHL?Plus if you bring even Rory Delap to oldtrafford today,he will be known more for better things that his long throw so Valencia scoring more goals in red devils jersey is no big acheivement.

Kenny Rogers voice is arguably the best i have heard all my life, and i mean in all genre of music.Maybe Aaron Neville comes a close second.I actually grew up listening to a mixture of him,Don and Dolly.Country music is one genre of music that attends to the soul like no other.

Faith Hill's Fireflies and Breathe(both classics IMO)
Shania Twain's Up
Lonestar's Let's be us again and Greatest Hits

@ kay

The good thing is that we have a full week to recuperate and recover. I am worried about the nature of the injury but he's already receiving treatment so fingers crossed he makes a swift and full recovery. Like you said, Even if he's only back for next weekend I think we can prosecute the CL game in his absence.

No word yet on the severity of Arshahohoho's hamstring injury, he had a scan today. . . I'd wager a 3 game absence.
I am not really bothered about Arshavin. The midget is a fighter and earlier in the season,Wenger alluded to his having a high threshold of pain. His recovery rate is something else and i think i read something on one of his interview where he said he's never had any major injury all his career.

I will prefer if the 2 players are rested though(hoping Rosicky wouldn't cop any injury in training) so they can be fully FIT for the game against Sunderland(no more room for slip up).The match at El Drago is one in which i think we can cop a victory if Bendtner and Diaby can up their game.

Just watching the Everton/Chelsea match again and the massive effect the arrival of Landon Donovan has in the whole Evertonian set up makes Wenger's folly in not getting someone in for our run in egregious and unforgiven.

And here is a piece of bad news going into the Porto match:

Unfortunately we have lost Alex Song with a medial knee ligament problem," said Wenger. "I hope he will be available for next week but it is not for sure. Arshavin looks to be a hamstring problem. We have to assess that too.
I am a bit surprised about his hoping that MKL problem heals in just about a week. That said though,i think we can get away with Song's absence in Europe as compared to the EPL.Either of Ramsey and Denilson should do a decent job partnering Diaby in the holding role while Cesc is allowed to make his forays.
