@ Rich4God who doesn't, It is only with God Almighty that we have free meals and all other things. Even religion will do something for you in return for loyalty!. Iraq well they have a reason to hate the west but is it what humanity needs. With Nigeria lets see what we'll get from them and if it is Good for the country, then go ahead, but other wise , why bother.   This also shpuld be done taking into consideration our other known allies
PoliticsRe: Jtf Accuses Borno Elders Of Backing Boko Haram by KDULAR: 12:57pm On Jul 15, 2011
A case of When it was them the shout from them elders " Oran lo" Calamity or problem has gone, but when it starts affecting them ,they shout "Oran de" meaning calamity or problem has come. During the time of the Niger Delta, they were silent and happy that it's not their feeful and it's now at their doorstep, they are concerned! What is bad is bad an adage says " when your neighbour eats rubbish you better warn him or make a noise because when his mouth starts rumbling and he starts defeacating indicrmanately everywhere, it will not be only him that will be affected but the whole neighbourhood.
HealthRe: Medical Council Outlaws Strike For Doctors by KDULAR: 11:22am On Jul 05, 2011
@ Texaspette .Nobody says that doctors are not the prime in the health team but not mine is not the only one there is and it is unfortunate that the fight had only be for them as if others are not feeling the same. But correct me if my assertion that  Doctors in fighting for what they 'll never loose has actually scuttled other professional in the health team from practising fully their profession  thereby denying the patients of their necessary healthcare.

Truly, how many times has the fight really been centred on patients? and not about pay which is by far better than the rest in the country, not mentioning the incentives that a doctor could open up his clinic even after gainfully employed by the govt. A privilege others would not enjoy, and this is a policy by the FG .

How many times has doctors being concerned about the overall healthcare delivery and not medical delivery considering the fact that they've got the numbers and influence to do so ?

So I think it is a welcome development MDCN go forward with these but I doubt because the senseless and irresponsible mid 90 till date aluta continua tradition in the universities has become part and parcel of the psychic of the average under 40s Doctors. No offence  intended. grin grin
HealthRe: Medical Council Outlaws Strike For Doctors by KDULAR: 7:16am On Jul 05, 2011
I am yet to be corrected bu still have the opinion that the sorry state of our healthcare/ healthcare delievery in Nigeria is as a result of the administrative Ineptitude and the unfounded pride of our Doctors. For anyone who cares to know, the inceassant strikes stated in the time of Olikoye Kuti, who started giving them undue prominence ovver other Health care professionals, thus they must maintain the disparity. Worst of all , they hardly allow due to their numbers, the full and relevant practice of other professionals thus denying the patient the full benefit of healthcare delivery but will only go on strike to to fight for a higher pay for themselves alone.

Majority of them think of nothing but the money and are happy seeing themselves alone looking good and become jittery when you look or sound better than they are. I doubt if the MDCN
can effect what they proffer as they are one and thesame

These are the legacies of aligning with people who don't understand you just because you want to be known . The legaciy of  mainstream national politics. Arungun as they are. The fact that no matter how much we need money to dio some development projects we should just retain those things that identifies us as a community .

Delafruta and the rest Thank you. We need to understand the processes involved in Governance which information and facts are vital before em

That doesn't mean that we should be moving at a slow pace anyway , a gangrene even a lession will take time to heal first before that porion of the tissue can function. Last page I've not been to other parts of the world ( westrern ) but I know wehere we wantto so much copy, there military is not regarded as we are regarding ours, ie with less respect. no one in his right mind in america britain just castigates their miitary the way we RE QUICK TO DO HERE! Although they mess up real good sometimes but it is not only peculiar here,If it 's not so, then there wouldn't be military law all over.
Any way the l/cpl deserves what he got, that's not in his training. 2. The military courts do not take time in dicipline, TYou plead your case and you are assumed innocent until proven guilty. I don't think he's probably tried by a court martial but by orderly room procedure which is actually the court that can be convened for such an offence ,that type of punishment and considering his rank.
like i said earlier, the military as a friend explained does not waste time in deciding disciplinary cases it is immediate , with all evidence necessary, not based on Emotions. and God bless him he has had previous entries, that spoils his case further.

He disobeyed a standing order, behaved in an unofficer like manner, and , rqising a false alarm , behaved cowardly( when he feigned fainting). Cause public disturbane, endanger lives and property.
And in all, a notice of right of appeal is served him immediately after the court , he will be asked, if he accepts the judgement and punismet.

PoliticsRe: Bill And Hillary Clinton On Why They Admire GEJ by KDULAR: 11:19am On Jun 11, 2011
Well I see Clintons actions as just a banter and admiration and nothing more . However, the issue of foreign names , I' am not a fan my baptismal name is Kenneth and it only stops there I asked why wouldn't I bear Ayanfe (David) b ut was refused so I choosed kenneth. It never occured anywhereelse. Alll my kids have Ijinleponbele( Original unadulterated) Yoruba names. The surname in My gfamily is still thta of my Great grandfathers father Despite him being one of the first and few Monogamist / Christians in Ijebu at that time.
My point is our indegenous names really convey real good meaning in most cases and should be cherished and adopted for all purposes . adopting some foreign names sometimes is a continuation of colonisation in any form be it english/ western or arabic ( the latter some people might not want to agree with). Same as The now common sayings "EPL/LALIGA/SERIE A/BUNDESLIGA CLUB FOR LIFE"! AND Enyimba, Rangers, 3SC,Kwara utd, KANO PILLARS etc are there.

Pf what significance is the not having anybody in the top 6 to the well being of the Yorubas . I don't think we are that gullible to start crying because we know that the years having  people in those position did n't improve not much that could have been achieved without them there. Infact  Lagos State can testify ( LGA creation and the revenue withheld for years), Ogun, Oyo,can testify to the ruined and  the squandering of communal wealth and assets ! and the downturn in the fortunes in education from being the Mainstream politics".

It is really hight ime we make the whole of Nigeria realise that all need not go to the centre cap in hand at all times begging for alms and peanuts. We showed them before how to and by His grace we'll show them again. However to me it really makes no difference and it's not worth crying over whinying Marginalisation . An dif somebody says they hate us, well, YES it's no news!

PoliticsRe: Should Ojukwu Apologise For The Civil War? by KDULAR: 7:30am On Jun 07, 2011
keep blaming and the wounds becomes fresh and the pain increases and when pain increases you nervous sytem wouldn't function properly to analyse the issues. People that will be quick to blame others on their misdeeds will never learn and will remain what they were.
From Awolowo to the entire Yoruba men living and dead are and will forever be responsible for the woes( I wonder) of the Ibos. After exhausting all it will turn to the Hausa fulani, then to the Tivs then, the more than 250 tribes in Nigeria. When there is no one to blame, the British who amalgamated Nigeria, then The Americans and  the Russians and the whole west for agreeing with the blockade of arms and supplies, then the Arabs for Islamising the Hausas thus the continual killing and maiming of ibos in the North after which it'll shift the to rest of the world and back to the Yorubas including Banjo ( who was later killed while fighting along side Biafra soldiers by who?)

If your course of action is to keep on abusing the Yorubas at any giving time is your National past time ( this I've seen with majority of Ibos especially the hinterlands ) then I beg them to continue because it i'll makes then feel Sirike and high.  but I bet you it leads to no where. I said something when Akunyili was ranting about speakership that A child that says that when he grows up, he 'll be having his pap (akamu or ogi) with the fried head of a pigeon. The creator of  pigeons will not allow the child to grow. In spite of her formidable stature, where is she in the Senate today?

For all those blaming Awolowo and Yorubas for their loss or triumph , they reason that if a house , city Nation is really strong, Nothing can shake it but if it seem strong it falls anyway . If any lapse or splinters exists it's formidable nature is lost and it crumbles.

Awolowo did his Job and if you know what loyalty means which I believe most una no understand, then You'll never think of it and yab him . Even the Ikemba himself said it "The best president Nigeria never had " All  of you should go and sleep with that, because Ojukwu realise that under same circumstances given, he will do the same. Anger blinded Human beings.  You want me to join you and you were already advancing and encroaching forcefully into my land! and you expect me to trust you. Or is ore in Iboland?  about 180 km  from  Agbor by road. So because I want my congregation to be full as a pastor , I will now leave my testicles to become a toy for the toddlers abi? Anger and non facing reality but looking for scape will continue to blind, confuse, derail weaken and reduce the blessing that God has in stock for you , truly. Na una be the Christians anyway and should understand better. You cannot do it alone, and don't be backbitters and ingrates to those who could help una achieve wetin you wan achiev including the Hausas and the rest of Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Should Ojukwu Apologise For The Civil War? by KDULAR: 5:14pm On Jun 06, 2011
Just another thread that 'will bring up and has indeed resulted in ethnic jabs and promote ethnic chauvinism. Me i like his courage (ojukwu) but not his action as an officer of the Nigerian Army. Unfortunately, the statement that he should apologise to his people is coing from a Yoruba man and the way it is, it is a well known fact that an average Ibo man will do everything in his power to make himself look better than  Yoruba man  who are termed as irresponsible, lazy ,cowards and anything derogatory they can think of. Thus such statement coming from an "ofe manu" onye beribe " will never make sense.
So i submit, if the Ibos don't see anything wrong in his act and leadership, then leave him alone. Anyone who does not remember history and learn from it will definitely the same history repeating itself untill ammendment is made. I have said it several times her in different ways that if you continue to blame others for your failures and woes, you will not have a substantial growth instead  you'll only be gathering muscles which can only take you far but not far enough.

So enough of these Yorubas commenting on what they 'll rather get insulted than appreciated and face their own business. Ki omo osan yin ma ko Igi ba Iya re.
PoliticsRe: Ogun: Amosun Declares Free Education, Healthcare by KDULAR: 3:08pm On May 31, 2011
Me thinks free educatio as laudable especially in Ogun state, which is actually what I enjoyed in my primary school and by the time I was in secondary school, Education levy was introduced and it was thirty five thpousand then.  As good as free education programme is, I don't subcribe to it in its entirety especially after  JSS level no more

What I think we should be talking about is improving the quality of the education, which will required lots of fund and No  State Government in this present Nigeria  can succesfully do it without jettisoning some other vital economic development sectors.

Developing the standard of the education (qualitatively) is really what is needed in the State for now and not just to have numbers. More schools with structures befitting for learning should be established to decongest the present ones. In any classrooms, not more than 25 students should be in a class. The present schools should also be upgraded to with different functionasl facilities for real education.

Principals and teachers in Ogun State needs to be encouraged and retrained as a lot of the are now involvedtoo uch in politics and acts of indicipline which are too inimical to the educational development.

There is need for reall competition into schools after JSS this is just to avoid Iru wa Ogiri wa. Some of the students are not really interested in Education thus they only come to waste Governments resources ,whereas they could have done better in vocational schools or schools .  Igive an example, while I was in class 3 going to the class 4, in my school then, we use the same laboratory for physics, chemistry and Biology and this room can only accomodate 24 students . Meaning for you to be allowed to do Physics and  chemistry, you must be amongst the best 26 in the both subjects. Also, you must score at least a 60 in english and mathematics . the last prerequisite is maintained to move to the next class in my school then and I think we used to record some level of success in our WASCE and in even some science competitions in Abeokuta that time and people will wonder is it not that " local school".

Extrapolating that I'll say rather than sponsor evrybody to school, let there be that leverage to the JSS level at the least reading and writting/ comprehension is assured after which in order to have the education up to a very enviable level, some level of modest levy not going beyond 2500 per term for each senior secondary school students should be introduced.  Also some qualifying exams should be introduced for each as a prerequisite for the qualifying for state government subsidy for WASCE.

We need to start introducing real measures to make us realise that though the government need to cater for people's needs but government is not a father christmas ands resources though need to be spread, but it must be to those who will definitely show returns.

I have to study real hard to gain admission into a Federal university where you pay close to nothing compared to what was paid  in State Universities since I know the Financial status of my parents then. So parents and wards who need to enjpoy some laxity from the government should show a level of commitment  to show they are deserving of the gesture.

PoliticsRe: Senate Approves N1.5 Billion For Ojukwu, Ex-briafran Soldiers by KDULAR: 9:15am On May 28, 2011
As much as possible I try to refrain from comments that 'll be ethnic biased or chauvunistic  but I have to say these.

1.   When you are a military man , you don't for any disobey a lawfull order

2.   You don't plan against your commander, unit or  service and The State for ANY reason, if you get any grievances as regards decisions against you, you seek a redress and their are channels through which to do so. Doing such is treason and you must be prepared for the consequencies  especially if it is against the state which is paying the ultimate punishment  DEATH . A civilian can commit treason and be pardoned  ( Niger Delta Militants) but hardly woulld a military personnel ( Officer fro that matter) who is expected to exhibit the highest level of patriotism, dicipline, order asnd comportment.

3. Pardon is the prerogative of the state so pardon for Ojukwu Biafran soldiers and any person or groups of people is  welcomed and if the govt decides to compesate anybody afterwards , it's govt's  decision and it's al good.

However , why would anybody decide to blame the consequencies faced by Your actions on another person, You are at war with  the country and you expect them to give you all what it takes to be comfortable? When you wanna go to war, you'll check your Logistics properly and rely  only on emotions and testetorone (muscles) . it can only take you far and not All the way. Awolowo was a federal minister on a Federal assignment and you expected him not to perform his duties ? Ridiculous, he advised and did what he is expected to do ) despite the way He and his region was treated, by the same national govt comprising of all the other regions if you don't wanna do the Job, then resign as long as you are there, you are bound by the terms conditions ,rules and regulation guiding your appointment. As opposed to Ojukwu( who I forever respect anyway for his bravery but disappointed in his what is termed UNOFFICER LIKE CONDUCT. To some he is a Hero and in some respect he and will remain.

you will vent your anger against Yorubas but you were already making incurssions and advances with military force towards Yoruba land well outside your Ibo speaking area and you are talking, majority of the northern leaders were anhillated and the yoruba politicians killed with the Igbo leaders spared and you still talk of trust! Haba !!

The Igbos who are reasonable  and know what was happening will not in anyway lay blame and continue to light up flames of hatred rather have adopted a noble strategy which is working and is will continue to earn respect from other parts of the country. If anybody still want to seed off let it be follow the internationally accepted process but stop whining and blame those you need not paid for unsuccessful attempt .

Talking about going to the centre and revenue sharing, saying Awolowo and  Gowon started it all! the stage was set for that to hapen with Agunyi Ironsi who after the coup in"66 decided and promulgated aand started unitary system of govt for the country which brought all the regions under one central federal control. the practice has been in existence at least. Right after that how many time s had some people been calling for the  decentralization of the govt
giving more powers to the states or region as the case may be and I expected the Ibos to be the champion and the main supporter of the causw however, it's not so, however some will still be too quick and happy to throw Jabs at Yorubas and Awolowo for whatever I don't know they call their grouse!

When you wake up in the morning and ou see someone calling everybody a  bad or mad person, then suspect who is really mad.

A man went to his money lender to ask for some raise and on getting their, he met him eating and was invited to eat , he sat down to the meal . Another man came around to borrow money also met  them ( the lender and the first man) eating. he was asked to join them but refuseed and said this is what I want "money" . The lender left the meal got him the amount he wanted and he left. The first man now said actually he came to borrow some money and the lender to him what is important to you most is what I offered to you first and u acccepted it and at the moment he has no moren cash to lend.

These Igbo guys on NL who still fan the embers of hatred and I believe only get their kicks from insulting all other tribes especially Yoruba should if they want to note that , the world has and is still changing and will never ever wait for you. Keep hating and  watch the money pile up.
Yorubas are realising themselves and are saying yes we want tohave a part in Nigeria centre but no neccessarily through a one party, and that "you are fooling yourself if you are saying you have somebody when you don't have yourself. Keep insulting and watch us progress( not only about Big money but being attractive and more condicive for investors to come including your brothers) wewould not answer because Eni ti a nwo ki i woran.

Nobody likes debt however if it's this amount and seeing onging projects and given fashola antecedents I think it's not a bad thing knowing the economic importance and viaibilty of these projects.

Haqd it been in some , formerly controlled states, I will be this alarmist as a large chunk of the money i know will be in the hands of their cronies. Their philosophy being let's go there and eat our share of the national nay state cake with little regards for the community ( sell outs I called them) !. Now we have something close to what can be likened to good governace and they are doing all they could to rubbish it! Mind you, the State Government is responsible enough to publish this statement to make us aware of this financial status through their ministry! Which of this , led government will be open and stright like this? I wonder the reason for the dust?

Why do this people hate Tinibu this much? Even if he owns the coy ie the tax cllectors and the company is doing a good job and repatriating the fund to State Govt and duelly collecting agency fee which i wanna is not always more than 15% ( lawyers help me out here) then is there any wrong doing or corruption? then why hate him for that . Mind you the coy if he owns it solely woould definitely be paying its staff well (who in turn will feed their family and unemployment is reduced) thus the high efficiency in the Tax remmitance toi the state .

Hate Tinubu or not , the Party he stands for is now a threat to  , and is giving another alternative for now to the rulling party and this is what keeps competition and development in a country or society like uscoming and not a one party mediocre thing. If Fashola's perforance so far has been mediocre and it is still reffered to around the country even in some unexpected places then i think if others will be that mediocre then we are inching towards a better Nigeria.

Haters and alarmist abeg go shak cold pure water and put your money inthe bowl.
