The only honest advice I can give you is to make sure you devour ur chemistry, physics and biology b4 attempting again. Get standard texts for each of d subjects and read them front to back at least twice each before ur next UTME and PUTME exams. Since you don't have connections, the only way you can qualify is by merit, and it's very possible but you must make sure you know more than what the average applicants like you know. Also, you have to spend the least time possible online except you're studying. I wish you the best. |
WinningEleven:God's grace to you. I wish you all the best in your pursuit. |
WinningEleven:You're mixing it up. This isn't about thyroid. It's strictly an excess of human growth hormone which is secreted by the pituitary. There will likely be a small tumour of the pituitary. Just read up hyperthyroidism and gigantism on Google or any medical text. |
WinningEleven:Growth hormone. He probably has a pituitary microadenoma with excess growth hormone secretion. This is a typical case of gigantism. Excess of thyroxine is hyperthyroidism often presenting as thyrotoxicosis. Excess of calcitonin will lead to hypocalcemia. |
ORIENTATION101:South South consists of many different tribes. They don't all think alike. South East consists of primarily Igbos (at least 99%). Buhari has made his hatred for Igbos clear. There is never a way Igbos can vote for him. Even if Shekau contests the PDP ticket, Igbos will rather vote Shekau than Buhari. And let me make it clear that it isn't about Peter Obi. Even with a Yoruba VP candidate for PDP, this resolution would still have happened. If Buhari wins again in 2019, he has already done his worst against Igbos, so whatever more he's going to do won't be a big deal. We endured the first 4 years, we will endure the second. One thing you must note is that even if Buhari rules for 50years, the average Igbo man will still have a more meaningful life than an average Katsina man, so no shaking. |
BlackPeni5:...worse still when they are driving heavy duty vehicles. I know that hardship is much in Nigeria, but some risks are simply unjustifiable. How can you be doing fast and furious driving with a truck? So many insane drivers on Nigerian roads. May the souls of the dead rest in peace. |
[s] Corrinthians:[/s] Piece of shyte! |
[s] Corrinthians:[/s] GET OUT!!! Why not show me the 44.6% work you guys have done. Liars!!! There is no embarrassment there. I knew the figure you guys have been bandying around was nearly 50%. If you guys claimed 44.6% work was done as at April, and I quoted 50% in November, how does that make me a liar? Do you think I have these figures all the time at the tips of my fingers? Am I jobless like you and the entire BMC that spend all day on Nairaland? |
Corrinthians:https://www.nairaland.com/4449634/pictures-ongoing-construction-second-niger This was as at April (7 months ago) when Bashir Ahmad said work was 44.6% completed. |
Corrinthians:Didn't you guys say the bridge was more than 50% completed? Are they still awarding contract? And he had to wait till 3 months before election to award it. Hahahaha. You guys think we are fools? |
princfred:They are very quick to employ reverse psychology. They easily start playing victims when they are actually the real bullies. Look at them talking about fundamental human rights. Those that sell beer in the north and have their goods destroyed by sharia police, isn't their fundamental human rights trampled upon? Is there anywhere the Nigerian constitution banned the sale of alcoholic drinks? Let's not even talk about those they kill for converting to Christianity. They won't talk about critical things like this that directly attack the rights of fellow Nigerians and destroy their means of livelihood, but they will be focusing on wearing hijab. |
tayyibb:The point in bold is one of the biggest issues with Islam. You guys can't practice your religion in silence as something between you and your god. You want to colour everything in the society with your religion, but it cannot work. You guys talk about rights. Does your religion consider the rights of others to have a contrary belief? Why do you guys still kill people for apostasy in the 21st century? Is there a physical structure called a church in Saudi Arabia today? Yet, there are hundreds of mosques in England, Italy (even Rome itself). The hypocrisy of Muslims stinks. |
Abati60:Celebrating mediocrity is supporting men like Buhari to rule Nigeria for 8 years. Buhari has nothing to offer. Buhari is also a criminal. We remember his story as PTF Chairman and Minister of Petroleum. |
seunmsg:Even before Tinubu dreamt of being the governor of Lagos, the state was already the centre of attraction in. Nigeria. Lagos' status as a former capital city built by Nigerians cannot be erased in this generation. Can you point to one achievement made in Lagos solely by the efficiency in governance of Tinubu, Fashola and Ambode? Tomorrow now, if Abuja is made a state, Gbagyi people will start telling us how their indigenes (who most likely will be the ones ruling the state) were the ones that made Abuja what is it. |
Anything to put APC to death is welcome by me. |
Caseless:So what prevented him from telling them that EFCC could not investigate him cos of his immunity? Didn't you read that there is a court order stopping the State HOA from investigating him? |
seunmsg:Abeg shut it! You guys have been making noise that he could not have been admitted into US War College without WAEC certificate and using that as a proof that he had a certificate as at that time. The college has come out to say they never required it, which means whoever managed to get into the army without a certificate could still have gone to the college. |
Saphiex:Nice bro! Hope you're doing great. |
deomelo:Just to justify Atiku's search, he had to go and do photoshoot at the airport on the very same day. Why not show us pictures where he was searched long before Atiku's incident? They even carried a professional photographer along. See the security woman smiling to camera. You guys think we are fools? Well, what's my business? Atiku is miles ahead of APC guys. He still has his men right at the heart of APC, so he will always get info well ahead of time. PS: I don't have a problem with anybody being searched as long as it is a routine procedure. The manner in which the search is carried out and the circumstances around it matters more. Modified: I realised from the link that it's an old picture. It was taken in 2015. That however nullifies the first paragraph of my post. I stand by every other point I made. |
Trulydude:Finding out why I asked would have been more honourable than throwing insults like this. My explanation is just above this post. |
dasparrow:It doesn't mean anything. It could be that he was born in a Muslim home but is a Christian now. Abdulrahman Teasop is the name of the National President of Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria (students arm). I'm sure you've heard of Prophet Isa El-Buba (in Jos). Of course, there are many more of such people. I asked cos the setting looks like a Christian wedding, with a man standing like a pastor administering the vows, while there is a best man behind the groom and a chief bridesmaid behind the bride. I'm not aware they have such in Muslim weddings. |
Trulydude:Oya, say "thank you". |
ebusnwaoma:Is he a Christian? |
Corrinthians:Oga, those Northern almajiris need Peter Obi more than he needs them. They are still far more impoverished now than they have ever been, despite having their brother as the president. What benefit has Nigerian presidency been to an average Northern almajiri? It took a Jonathan from the SS to build a federal university in Buhari's home state despite that the state had produced 2 presidents before Jonathan. It was still the same Jonathan that built almajiri schools for them which they have abandoned now. Their elite including Buhari doesn't want them educated so that they will never be empowered. They keep using Islam to hold them in captivity. So my dear, they will only be doing themselves a favour voting for Obi. They can however choose to give Buhari 200million votes, but their backwardness will remain. |
Kingwizzy16:Before you start correcting something, make sure your opinion is correct. Check for the various meanings of 'bless' in the dictionary. 'Bless' also means 'praise' Also, if you knew the Bible, you wouldn't have written that. Read Psalm 34:1; 16:7 (KJV) |
Nicklaus619:Anthony Joshua is British biko. |
CilicMarin:It took you guys a whole month to be able to dig up a weightless allegation to use against Peter Obi. You tried corruption but couldn't find anything, now you're talking about bigotry for a VP candidate not president o. Chai! Nigerians were warned about Buhari's bigotry prior to 2015 yet they still voted for him. Don't worry, Atiku/Obi will still be voted by Nigerians. One thing I'm sure of is that Buhari will lose massively in the NC, SE and SS. The votes will be shared in other regions and Atiku will still win finally. |
Why shouldn't Rochas allow his son-in-law to speak for himself? If Rochas is asking about Uzodinma's profile, he should compare it with that of Nwosu, whose only achievement so far is working as Rochas' PA at different levels starting from when he was Rotary Club president up till when he became a governor. His (Nwosu's) highest achievement in life is being Okorocha's Chief of Staff. Can that be compared to being a senator of the Federal Republic? |
OK. Since you have taken him to court and found him guilty of taking bribe already. Then OK. We only comment on sensible mentions, not assumptions that leads to senseless noise making online! It does no one any good!
Same way you've taken Atiku to court and found him guilty of looting (despite that he was only a VP). Well, I don't blame you. You're working for your pay. |
17Ebiscoo:You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. You have tried to dig out corruption issues against Peter Obi to no avail, you're now clutching on irrelevancies. Peter Obi is far better than Buhari and El Rufai combined. If those 2 can be among the key persons in our government today, Peter Obi deserves it more cos he has so much to offer Nigeria. El Rufai and Buhari are a waste of space. |
Aminubaba:Is there any bigot in Nigeria worse than Buhari? Does he deserve to be the president of Nigeria? You hate Igbos yet want them to remain in Nigeria by force while suppressing them... Injustice can never last forever. |
ryloy:The truth is that considering how far Jonathan went (from the scratch) with the Abuja - Kaduna standard gauge and Abuja metro between 2011 and 2015, I dare say that Jonathan or any other president would still have completed these projects by now. For crying out loud, it's already 3½ years since Buhari took over power. I will only commend Buhari for completing this project, cos for whatever reasons best known to Jonathan, he didn't want to finish it despite that the tracks had been fully laid even before his administration began. I guess it had something to do with the fact that the main reason why the project was started is still far from materialising. The Warri - Itakpe project was meant to connect Ajaokuta steel plant to Warri (Aladja) steel plant and also seaport for the exportation of steel products manufactured at Ajaokuta. It wasn't constructed primarily for movement of people, as the 2 towns involved don't have that much human population to warrant such an expensive project being executed when major cities in Nigeria were yet to be linked by rail. Buhari and Amechi chose to complete it simply to take glory for it. In reality, as long as Ajaokuta steel plant hasn't started working, the rail line won't be very useful yet, except the line is taken further to Abuja. |
