Point to me in that article where Biafra is mentioned.

What is in the article is the voice of Igbo Muslim, different from Biafrans. Igbo Muslim will inherit leadership of SE in next 10yrs. We are commited to bring it into fruition.

In fact, you are now banned from marrying any Igbo muslim girl.

We will bring muslim men from other parts to marry them in pairs so we can accelerate a population change in your land.
It seems you don't understand that when an Igbo woman marries, she ceases to belong to her family but to the family that marries her.
If you bring 1000 Yoruba Muslim to marry 1000 Igbo Muslim girls, all their children will automatically become Yoruba. Hope you also remember Igbo women don't inherit land in Igbo land.

First time I see someone state correctly that engagement rings are worn on the ring finger. However it is only a fad that women wear their engagement rings after weddings. Ideally they should be kept away as part of the family heir loom passed on to the new wife married into the family
I really don't understand the point you made which I italicised. Could you explain better?
Yeah, I normally feel uncomfortable when I see people wear or put engagement rings on middle fingers. It just doesn't look right, and isn't right.

If it's pre-wedding, why iS she wearing a wedding ring and the dude is not ? In this picture her mouth con be lyk say she wann swallow the guy destiny
That's an engagement ring.
Engagement rings have pendants, while wedding rings are just like bands (just like what men wear). Before wedding, a woman wears only the engagement ring on the ring finger. After wedding, she wears both engagement and wedding rings, but the wedding ring/band goes in first (is closer to the heart) before the engagement ring. In some cases, both rings are fitted together into one unit, but when you examine it closely, you can differentiate between the wedding band and engagement ring.

Why didn't the person that posted it on Twitter include the location of the court? Is Eastern Nigeria a state or town? Is there any proof that that court is still in use?
What if a new Court has been built just beside it and this one has been abandoned?
If you have been to Anambra State for example, and seen the quality of houses even in rural areas, you will doubt the veracity of the op's claim.

As for your insults, print them out and hand them over to your father. They are more appropriate for him.
Stop all the bragging. South West never wins elections for any party in Nigeria. North Central decides the victory. You think it's ur miserly 55% that took Buhari to Aso Rock in 2015?
Buhari will win the SW again in 2019 no doubt, but his margin of win (in the SW) won't be what will give him victory (if he's going to carry the day).

Now, instead of working on this obvious lack of yours, you will begin to rant in defence of it but I won't reply.
Was his point too difficult for you to understand that you had to write that epistle?
He was only saying that Igbos won't back down on their support for Atiku even if it will mean them losing out to APC and power returning to the SW by 2023. In essence, the lust for presidency in 2023 isn't enough to make Igbos vote for Buhari.

Go and meet a urologist. You have urinary frequency, and it results from overactive urinary bladder. Nairaland is not the best place to get proper medical advice.

It's not true. Pastors that have the word of truth don't beg people to give. People long for every opportunity to give to them.
Christianity EtcRe: Daddy Freeze Criticizes RCCG On Tithe Banner "Don't Be A Robber! Pay Your Tithe" by Kennydoc(m): 7:47pm On Dec 03, 2018
olawooro:
This particular banner, what does it represent?
Come on! You can't say there is an aggressive campaign for tithing simply because you saw a banner in one out of thousands of RCCG parishes.
That statement isn't a new thing. I have heard a story of one of the people who had a revelation of heaven (I think she died and was taken to heaven) where she said that people who don't give their tithes are considered as armed robbers in heaven. I heard this over 5 years ago. Don't ask me about that. I didn't see the revelation by myself, so I can't verify that.
Moreover, the content of the banner is from the Bible. You can argue that the interpretation could be different, but it's a verse of the Bible they based it on.

Instead for the church to be aggressive in evangelism, in warning the sinners, murderers, treasury looters, robbers, kidnappers, ritualists, it is rather very aggressive in campaigning for tithe payment.
It's not true. There is no aggressive campaign for tithe payment. It's the online attacks by people like Freeze that makes it seem like there is an aggressive mobilisation for tithers.
The message of righteousness is being preached massively, these churches still carry out missions and outreaches to very remote areas, but you won't see such on the social media. Even their numerous projects for the poor will often go unannounced. That is the strategy of the devil. The same Freeze that always attacks Adeboye when he shows any sign of flamboyance kept mute when he was shown worshiping with a small, rural church. There are many more of such you won't see on the social media.

If u are looking it in that way, what about countries that do not have churches and are very rich?
linearity:
If it is a zero sum gain as you put it above, why are the Pastors attacking him and some even cursing him out?

Yes, 10% to the very poor could mean the difference between putting one square meal on the table or going to bed hungry....it could make the difference between providing school uniform for your kids or them going to school in rags.

Prosperity preaching have no root in Bible...the riches countries in the world and even the riches man in the world does not tithe a penny to God and still get blessed Him abundantly and put him on Forbes....whereas the poor in Africa who still give their widow’s mint tithe are not any better poverty wise, year-in and year-out.
Freiden:
And if you think those who stopped paying tithes are cursed or have become poorer, you need to wake up. We are not getting any poorer...like your pastors promised us. I for one, I have never paid tithe in my life, and I have been blessed beyond measure. How then do you proof to me that tithing is what makes people richhuh
HeyCorleone:
Of course.

Also questions like "how come some people who don't believe in God are rich while some of His faithful adherents are stony broke?".

It shows you the fairness with which God distributes wealth.

Therefore it is dubitable, that God blesses you more because you tithe.
Now, here's what I believe.
Giving offerings or paying tithe isn't what makes anyone rich. There are principles of wealth creation that if anybody applies, they can be rich. There are more atheists and unbelievers who are rich than there are Christians. Just the same way the sun shines and the rain falls both on Christians and unbelievers, that's how wealth is.

Giving to God is mandatory for every believer. One of the ways we prove our love for God is by our giving. God so loved the world that He gave... When we love, we also give. The church of God truly needs money to operate. The problem comes when the money coming in is more than what that church needs for their basic operations. That's where many pastors start failing cos they do not realise that the excess coming into the church should be for the benefit of the entire church not just for them. Will I say I should stop giving because some pastors don't manage the extra very well? No, cos if we stop giving to the church, the work of God will be crippled. I am mainly talking about churches where Christ is the central focus. Of course some so called churches are pure business centres. I don't have any business with such.

A true believer that is walking with God knows that all his money belongs to God. Those referring to the early Church where tithe wasn't paid should remember that those believers then gave their ALL. People sold off ALL their entire possessions and brought the money to the church. How many of us can do that today? The church then had enough funds because people sold off everything they had, brought the money to the church and believers' needs were easily provided for. That method can't work in today's world, just like we can't expect people to sell all they have. That's why giving 10% of your income should be the least every believer should do for the sake of the body of Christ. Some people with greater understanding even give more than 10% regularly. The point is that part of your earnings should be dedicated to God.
Where I have a problem with many pastors is their thinking that the whole tithe belongs to them alone. The money shouldn't ideally be for the GO or the pastors alone, but for the benefit of all the believers in need.

As for me, I am not poor by the grace of God. I still have more than enough after giving my 10%, so I will continue to give it. Sometimes I give it to missionaries, but that's the farthest I can go with it. From the 90% I have left, I still have enough to support the less privileged around me, which I do occasionally.
As for pastors that misappropriate the church's money, it's not for me to judge, neither will I stop giving because of them. God will judge that ultimately.

Freiden:
Wrong!!! He's trying to make people see how they've been used and manipulated in the name of God. With his help, many people have been enlightened.
So are those enlightened people now richer since they stopped giving their 10% to the church? Is the church poorer now that many people have been enlightened and have stopped giving?
These are some of the questions you should ask yourself.

Oga, you don't have to insult me na. Can't you engage in a civil discussion without throwing insults?

You said the welfare of the people is the responsibility of the states, but you have forgotten that the FG controls the police (and even the military). Often times we've heard governors complain of calling the IGP or even presidency when they got warnings regarding crisis, yet nothing happened. We've seen the police get involved in partisan issues in states and the governors are helpless, as it is happening in Akwa Ibom.

If the FG does not provide an enabling environment for states to carry on their activities, there is very little they can do.

The main reason why I am against Buhari is that his government reeks of injustice: against Igbos, against his political opponents and against Northern minority Christians. He's not a fair President by any standard.
I can tell you categorically that if Buhari had been fair and just to all Nigerians from the beginning of his administration, the opposition to his 2nd term bid would have been nearly non-existent.

Talking about completion of projects, it depends on your view point. If Jonathan government had remained in power after 2015, he would have completed all the rail projects so far commissioned by Buhari. Even before his handover, most of them had gone over 70-80% completed. If Buhari loses out next year, it is the next president that will commission Lagos-Ibadan rail project. That's how it goes. But mind you that the 12 new universities built by Jonathan were completed (at least to the level in which they could kick-start their programmes) before the end of his tenure.
