dre11:So can Buhari get WAEC to confirm his own certificate now? |
PassingShot:If he was able to escape the town while the army was laying siege, it then shows how weak and grossly inefficient the army is. Maybe that's why Boko Haram kills them like rams. Let's even assume he escaped, what about his parents who have also been missing since that raid? He also escaped with them despite the military siege? Someone would have seen them take him away? Are you okay? So if there is a military raid, people will go and watch? Is that home movie? Do you know how many bullets were shot into his father's compound? Do you know some people were killed including Kanu's cousin during that raid? If you hear gun shots on your street, are you going to step out of your house for the next couple of hours until you're sure of your safety? And yet you say people have low IQ. Can you even reason at all? |
Ianmaduka:My question to him was based on this excerpt from his article/post: Some time ago, four Africans were found hidden in a secret boot, engine bay and dashboard of a BMW at Spain’s border with Morocco. |
BoneBlogger:@bold: OP, does Spain have a border with Morocco? |
madridguy:I can almost bet anything that that soldier is a northerner. Nigerian Army sends northern soldiers down south and they keep committing all sorts of atrocities and causing numerous havocs, yet many of them get away with the evil. Southern soldiers are often sent up north. How many times have you heard of soldiers brutalizing or killing innocent civilians up north? You rarely hear of that. It's sad that despite what you know, you still keep supporting the same brutal and heartless guys. |
vedaxcool:We've been hearing from APC spiritual wing (MURIC) and militant wing (Miyetti Allah) all these while. Let the spiritual wing of PDP remind APC that they are keenly observing what is going on. No problem with that. |
sureheaven:So why did he hire 35 SANs to defend him from showing his certificate? If he had showed the certificate, all these arguments about him would have long ended. But really, he doesn't have WAEC certificate. He joined the army on the recommendation of his principal just before he was to sit for SSCE, and he rose through the ranks simply because he is a northerner. |
Hotfreeze:See who is talking. The South East is still topping the charts in WAEC for the past 7-10 years or more (despite not having schools, according to your idiotic postulation), while your South West states like Osun are fighting for the bottom with Boko Haram ravaged states like Borno and Yobe. Isn't that a shame? |
hopefulLandlord:So says a man who believes that the universe originated from just a bang. The Bible rightly says, "the fool says there is no God". |
resurgent2019:Oga close your mouth. Have you not interacted with Igbos in real life? The online animosity between Igbos and Yorubas isn't like that in the real world. Apart from that, Igbos only lost out in 2015 election. Yorubas have been largely in the opposition for most of the 16 years of PDP, and nothing says Yorubas won't lose out again next year or 2023. |
EggSauce:Very jaundiced opinion... |
Neyoor:I hope your certificateless president will debate this time around. I learnt APC wants Osinbajo to debate on his behalf. Pot calling kettle black. |
samysmoothfresh:Your judgemental attitude towards her isn't fair at all. She lost her first husband to cancer. He gave her the 2 older children (a girl and a boy). You can see they are quite dark complexioned and are around the same age range. Her marriage with the 2nd husband (who gave her the 2 light skinned little children) failed traumatically. If she hadn't lost her first husband to cancer, they might still be married today. |
samysmoothfresh:Did you come across this paragraph I love and admire her strength and positivity towards pains and disappointments in life. At a young age she lost her husband to cancer, that union produced 2 kids. She stretched her arms at love again the relationship produced another 2 beautiful kids, and it finally ended abruptly with splashes of pain, she was done searching for true love untill l call him Chairman came along. Her life is an inspiring best seller. |
samysmoothfresh:Read, you no gree. Chai! Who did this to Nigerian Youth? |
hammer6F:It's obvious. They've been shouting that they've won the election, so why are they employing these desperate measures? |
sureheaven:What did Buhari do over his WASC allegation? |
Pentolution:Of course nobody is disputing the fact in bold. We all know that there was a time the Catholic Church symbolised the church, when every Christian was a Catholic. Not anymore. Catholic Church has the highest number of members, but isn't growing anymore. As a matter of fact, it is dwindling. RCCG is also the fastest growing church in Europe. |
ozo13:There can't be more Christians than Muslims among the ministers cos every state has one minister. The minister from most of the 19 northern states are Muslims plus a few from the south west. Because it is clearly spelt out in the constitution that every state must have a minister, Buhari had to appoint from all the southern states. If not for that provision, I can bet you that South East wouldn't have had more than 3. In all other appointments where Federal Character principle should have been applied, Buhari chose to murder the principle simply because he doesn't trust Southerners especially Igbos. How can someone as paranoid as him rule a multi ethnic country like Nigeria? Okay, he appointed his Northern brothers into all security positions apart from Navy (16 positions in all) choosing to ignore federal character in the process, yet Nigeria has become far more insecure than anytime in the past. Isn't it obvious that his brothers he trusts aren't effective in securing the nation? So why shouldn't he try and appoint Southerners in some of the positions and see if there will be a change. If Buhari cannot trust Igbos and can't be fair in dealing with them among other Nigerians, why is he killing them when they cry for secession? Isn't that bullying? |

ozo13:And who are the members of the economic team of Buhari? I have never heard that term in reference to this administration. Please, who else constitute the economic team apart from the (former) Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun? |
resurgent2019:There are probably hundreds of thousands of Nigerians especially Yorubas in the UK. There are thousands of Nigerians in Ghana and other African countries. There are probably thousands of Chinese in Nigeria etc. You can't force all Igbos to return back to Igbo land with or without Biafra. If Biafra is formed, Igbos can apply for visa and still live in Nigeria. That's how international relations work. It's on record that Igbos contribute the most to the economy of any part of Nigeria after the indigenes. The rest of Nigeria needs Igbos just like Igbos needs them. Let Biafra be formed first, then whichever part of Nigeria that doesn't want Biafra can deport them after giving them quit notice. You talk about Igbos being annoying (to you), but you haven't considered how we are being abused, mocked, humiliated and infuriated by other parts of Nigeria and all these stem from the unhealed wounds of the civil war. There has never been a genuine attempt at reconciliation, and you're talking about being annoying. As for having allies, you must be very ignorant to assume any nation cannot have allies. Even North Korea and Russia have allies. Igbos are among the smartest and most influencial blacks all over the world. You think international relations and diplomacy is rocket science to us? Even IPOB has enough allies not to talk of a (possible) nation of Biafra. |
resurgent2019:Rwanda has the fastest growing economy in Africa. It is one of the most decent African countries at the moment despite the genocide of 1994. Few interesting facts about them: 1. They have no crude oil 2. Their landmass is just about the size of the 5 southeastern states. 3. It's a landlocked country. So what makes you feel that a country consisting of only the 5 southeastern states cannot survive? Let me also tell you this, if Igbos break out of Nigeria, you can be sure that the rest of the South cannot coexist with the north. Certainly, Niger Delta will break out and Yorubas will form their own country. The unity of Nigeria is a farce. |
hollah123:The point in bold is the most important message I was passing across. Whether that particular pic is propaganda or not, Buhari has been grossly unfair to Igbos. Her concern is strictly about the unlikelihood of the pic being real, and not about the brutality of unarmed Igbos by security forces on the orders of the president. It's good to point out the possibility of propaganda in the pics, but it shouldn't end there. All these propaganda wouldn't have been if Buhari decided from the beginning to accept the whole Nigeria (and not just the North) as his constituency. No other president has been this sectional and divisive. Tell me, why should the military stage an operation in the south east when states in the north central and north west are burning? We all know that whenever there is a military operation like this, many innocent civilians are often brutalised by the crude and uncultured Nigerian army. How much more when the military goes with the mind of quenching any possible uprising. |
fiizznation:And now that Buhari trusts only northerners, he has handed all security outfits to Northerners. Only the Chief of Naval Staff and the 'ceremonial' Chief of Defence Staff are Southerners. Does it seem fair to you? Imagine if Jonathan was the one who did this and appointed only Southerners, won't you guys have declared war on Nigeria? Now, since Buhari has been working with almost only northerners in all security outfit, has Nigeria truly been secure? Look at the mess that has been happening all over the North: Boko Haram in the NE, Fulani Herdsmen in the NC and armed bandits in the NW, yet northerners are in charge of security. Isn't that an evidence that they have all failed? If you've been doing something and it has been failing for 3 years, shouldn't you try something new? Buhari is the first president to appoint INEC Chairman from his geopolitical zone. How do we expect the election to be free and fair? Are you aware that injustice is one of the highest levels of corruption? Buhari has enthroned injustice to an unprecedented level. Posterity will not judge you guys fairly. |
modath:Okay, he wasn't shot but he was obviously wounded. With the kind of bleeding he has had (from the pics), he may end up needing a transfusion, that's if he won't even battle for his life. The question is, what did he do to deserve that? Shouldn't you be asking a question like this rather than talking about the fact that he's still walking about? Modath, posterity won't be fair on you and others like you who keep supporting this demonic administration. Just yesterday, innocent people were slaughtered in Zamfara, our security forces were nowhere to be found. You said nothing. I know that no kingdom, dominion or authority lasts forever except that of the King of kings. One day, Buhari's government will come to an end. Even APC will die a natural death one day. It may not be next year, but it will surely happen. But one thing you must be sure of is that all the bloodshed Buhari and his supporters have caused, instigated, celebrated or even failed to prevent will bring judgement on them. |
Arabs and frivolous spending... Tụfịakwa!! |
julietm123:My dear, Afikpo and Nsukka axes have a significant Muslim population. Until you live there, you can't say much about Igbo Muslims. I maintain that I am not an advocate for Igbo Muslims. I'm only being rational here. |
julietm123:How many people from Afikpo and it's environs have you met? Do you know there are many unreached parts of Igbo land especially in Ebonyi State and other parts of Igbo land. You don't tell me that 1% is too much until you meet more people from Ebonyi and enquire about their religion. If you meet 200 Igbos and 2 of them are Muslims, you most likely won't notice it. How many times do you meet Igbos and discuss religion with them? I got to know the lady was a Muslim cos my job warranted I enquired about that during my counsel with her. If I hadn't asked, I would have sworn that she was a Christian cos she wasn't even wearing hijab. Actually, many of them don't wear hijab. |
BininKingdom:Oga, try and civil in your verbal engagements. You don't have any statistics to prove anything. Even if you think I'm wrong, point it out maturely. I hate exchanging insults and abuses with people. |
BininKingdom:Bros, 1% is one out of every 100. That's not a massive figure. Maybe in most parts of Anambra, they are 0% but I can bet you that they are very numerous in Ebonyi State. Of course, I have attended to an Igbo Muslim girl before in Asaba. She is from Ebonyi and was schooling at Nkpor. When she told me she was Muslim, I thought it was a joke but she meant it. That was in 2012. I have heard about the massive Islamic Centre at Afikpo before. They have a school and I think they give free Education and through that are drawing many children and their families into Islam. Muslims are making inroads into Ebonyi State but most Igbos are comfortable in Anambra, Enugu, Abia and Imo thinking there's no big deal. Please, don't get it twisted. I'm not a Muslim. |
