The people of the Mariupol, as well as other Donetsk region have asked Ukraine for a referendum to have their independence in peace if Ukraine still insist on being hostile to Russia who they (DPR) share a lot with but the Ukrainian Government have been denying them that right.

A war of Independence was started in 2014 which lasted for years (though guerilla style after failed open warfare). Ukraine succeeded in suppressing them until the Russian invasion.

So you see, Russian invasion is seen by the people of this region as well as Luhansk as a big brother coming to the rescue.

You know that kind of fight that you are being pummelled and with your remaining strength you looked up and saw you elder brother running towards the scene like John Cena.

So Russia's best way to save his 'little brother' is to kill him off and destroy his land completely?

If the war is about joining NATO, Zelenskyy has said Ukraine won't join NATO yet Putin is still attacking it. Putin has asked them to surrender Crimea and Donbass regions, he wants to demilitarise Ukraine and also remove their current government. Isn't that insanity if he believes Ukrainian government will bow to his wishes?

Which world over? Do you live outside Nigeria?
If you do, is there any item where you live which price has increased more than 50% since January 2020? In most serious countries, price increases for most items are much less than 20%. Some are even around 5%.
In Nigeria on the other hand, prices of most things have doubled and tripled, and in some cases even quadrupled. That's a whopping 100-300% increase.

To start with, nobody is saying Andy Uba must have had 240k votes. The point in question is the disparity between the total votes he got in the primaries versus the total he got in the actual election.

Let me make it a bit simpler. In the primaries, only APC members voted. In the general election, many of the voters do not belong to any party. What that means it that out of the 43k votes that Andy Uba got, a good proportion of them came from non-APC members. If we assume that half of the people who voted for him don't belong to any party, it means only about 10% of the supposed voters in the primaries turned out for the main election.

If 200k people were eager to see him fly the flag of APC in the election, how come ordinary half of them did not show up during the main election to make sure they brought him into power?

You're asking how come 1.8m people didn't vote for the other candidates. How did you arrive at the fact that APC has only 200k supporters in Anambra? That 200k APC members voted for Andy Uba during primaries, does that translate to APC having only 200k members?
