Ok thank you but it not compulsory I use the one from mybankstatement.com? Because somone asked me and I didn't know what to say..when I came to Canada I used the normal statement from bank not sure if things have changed
DestinationCann:
Depends on your bank. I know GTB request for MyBankStatement on their internet banking platform while you have to visit a branch to request for MyBankStatement for Access Bank.

I personally prefer MyBankStatement. it the size is usually less than 400kb and just 1 page.

Hi everyone

I have a question regarding statement of account for proof of fund. Can the one generated online or collected from bank be used to apply or there is a special type of statement to be requested that has to be addressed to ircc. Thank you for your help

Hi everyone I have a question for the study permit questionnaire. For somone who took full education loan what should be filled in the area where it says

# Who will pay for all your expenses in Canada?
Myself or others?

# Are you receiving financial support for your studies? Should this be YES or NO what should be the answer since the education financing is on loan?

Thank you

Update from ircc today . Regarding vaccination..

So if you're not vaccinated..you have to ask the school you're attending if they have a quarantine plan for new and returning students.

Sweetness24:
Please is it true that if i am not fully vaccinated by Nov 30,one won't be able to enter canada?

Pls I have a question.

A friend has 3 years experience in 2 diffrent job titles but same NOC B job classification does that work?

She also has a break of 16 months in between the job experience because of her masters will that still count as 3 years experience also?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by kennykentipsy: 9:01pm On Feb 01, 2021
Pls I need clarification with the above screenshot.

It says ''Your skilled work experience must be in the same type of job (have the same NOC) as the job you want to use for your immigration application (called your primary occupation) ''

If I have an experience As an Administrative assistant NOC B 1241 from August 2014 to September 2016 (2 yrs)

Went for masters October 2016- September 2018.

Started working in a new company in a different filed as Financial sales representative NOC B 6235 from Jan 2019 - March 2020

And April 2020 till date was moved to customer service NOC C which I know won't count

My question is

1. can he/she still claim 3 years experience with 2 different job title but same NOC
2. Would the gap I had in between during my masters affect anything?

Thank you

Hello good day.

I'm a canada permanent resident in Canada I got my PR through Canada experience class.

I have a friend who is applying for EE from Nigeria I don't wanna give wrong information because I went thru a different partway

She has had 5 Years of work experience in 3 different jobs but all in NOC B administrative assistant (3 years)
Customer and information services supervisors (1 year)
Accountant (book keeper) 1 year

Does she have to select one or she can use all?
Would workin in 3 different fields affect her application

Would appreciate any information. Thank you

3 months is a long wait o. From stories I have read here, it usually doesn't take that long even for people who already had PPR and needed to add a newborn born post PPR.
I believe others will weigh in with their personal experiences. It is well with you

Though I'm currently in Canada I schooled and work here but family still back home. I can't do my landing till the new born has been added. Been calling and all they tell me is hold on. So was hoping to ask anyone who has had such specific case

You will have to be more specific on why you are adding a child/spouse after your application was approved.
The reason(s) will help those in similar situations proffer solutions.

The child was born after the application was approved. Cic said I have to wait for the child to be added to the application before we can do the landing. I already filled the generic application form imm008 and imm5406 additional family information form and other additional documents we were told to attach. It been 3 months I filled and sent to them still no response
. When ever I call they say I have to wait that there's no wait time for such case. So I wanna know if there has been anyone in such situation and how long it took.

Honestly I don't know when Canada study visa became so strict on Nigerians.. During my time in school we had the second highest number of international students in class behind India the denial rate is just too high.. But I keep seeing China, India, Philippines flocking the country on student visa, most of them can't even speak English, so they enrol for ESL classes.

I applied for a friend's brother I did everything I can and provides all necessary documents with detailed information, yet he was denied because the VO said he wasn't sure he would return after his study. How else do they want him to demonstrate?? He's a Prince and hire to his father's throne he's listed as a shear holder in his dad's company yet the VO wasn't convinced enough any idea what I could have missed?

6 yrs back it wasn't as though as this I'm just so pained Nigerians don't deserve this

Hi everyone thank you for the great job I have couple of questions

1 having a B.sc and M.sc, do I have to evaluate both for express entry or I just have to evaluate my highest qualification which is the M.sc ?

2 amongst all the credential evaluation bodies which is the fastest with less hassle ??
