Uyi Iredia: The day people not ancestral to Lagos leave is the day poeoke will say 'ekö a baje telé'.uyi iredia, tell them. Every Lagos non indigene shd leave Lagos, let only real Lagos indigenes enjoy their land flowing with milk and honey, and pay their taxes alone. |
shymexx: I'm outchea - send me a PM.Lagos is also collecting huge taxes from the huge population. many times, one person pays taxes for his enterprises in diff parts of Lagos. therefore the problem is that of corruption and unaccountability on the part of lasg. |
luvinhubby: Considering the small piece of land called Lagos, the amount of money generated by the 60% of Nigeria`s business located their and it`s attendant inflow as IGR to the state, considering also that input justifies or condemns output,.... Fashola is a failure. |
lacasa: Can u imagine the effrontery of this OpWe all know the ppl that are known for despicable sanitary habits. More of those ngbatis lazying in Lagos should go, they give bad impression of Nigeria. |
Lagos is small in size and was largely developed by the British and fed govt . How can a gov who inherited a former FG capital not find it easy developing that small piece of land |
Yomieluv: How do you expect a governor to fix the rot of many years of neglect,if other governors had been performing, fasola's input would have been felt,so don't expect miracle to happen too soon. The same way some ppl shd take it easy with gej |
doc sholz: I still say the problem of Lagos is excessive immigration into the state even nyc with it's superior infrastructure are about just 19million, hence the need for other regions of the country to develop to stop the immigration or even reverse itThe devt will include devt of the states near Lagos, who have refused to develop despite their proximity to Lagos. With that, excessive migration to Lagos will be curtailed. So, what are the Lagos leaders doing with all the taxes collected from the immigrants by the lojas and co. They can't complete the roads, renovate schools, remove wastes, etc . I smell corruption. . Unu na awa . And that will mean abuja too will ask all Lagos ppl in abuja to go etc. Gradually, only state indigenes remain in every state. Its OK o |
Y must yorubas even resort to old news and info to massage their miserable ego. the other day, its abt Enugu of 1909 but instead of thinking of how Enugu became a Nigerian class city in 2013, they were talking abt 1909. Ibadan on the other hand has been a big slum since ages and in 2013, its still a big slum. . Payless above posted pix of deportation, whereas yorubas were deported too. Till u ppl start facing realities ,... |
This cultural problem has been in the news repeatedly and for many years. What action, if any, are Igbo leaders taking to clean house? This is gross violation against women and children, and by extension the society.
what do we do about all the se.x scandals in yorubaland esp in Osun and ekiti. Y must females in orphanages suffer the same fate too. What actions have Yoruba leaders taken to curb this,? |

Innoson! my role model. FP ooooo |
kingthreat: As for me, an Anambra guy once told me that when Igbo people are speaking, Ebonyi people keep quiet. That is all I can say. Ebonyi's are discriminated among the Igbos because they are not as enterprising as other Igbos. The development of their state says it all. Also they are noted to be very violent. That I have learned from a first-class experience.is that y they are not in the news? where are u from sef? |
smartchoice: Ikenna why are you hiding my postswhat is ur point sef? |
Siena: You still haven't answered my question bro...To African countries, some remain in the foreign countries and are bought as made in Italy/ dubai |
Cry me a river. |
^^^^@Ketoprofen your hate for yorubas is why you think they are still building mud house. Top 50 african richest has 5 yorubas and no ibo man. Why? You call them thieves? What will you call the kidnappers, otokoto money ritualists, the hard drug traffickers, fake drug sellers etc that have turned iboland into a place america has warned its people to stay away from. What made enugu did crime capital of the world? You claim all your people are wealthy but lack billionaires. The richest pastors in nigeria are from which tribe? The richest and most successful musicians are from which tribe? Davido's wealth covers psquare's by large. Top private schools and companies are owned and stationed where? Dont mention aba fake product industries. Yorubas are good and endowed but not perfect but you guys want us to believe ibos are angels. Another warped logic from you will further expose the rot in alaigbo . I have made my points. Davido has a richer father than p square btw. The richest contemporary musician is not a yoruba and u still don't understand the concept of wealth distribution. Enugu is not and can never be the crime capital of SE not to talk of Nigeria. Its Ibadan that is the largest slum in west Africa, that's y u were asking for face me I face u in our villages, no. The towns rather have that than the villages. I maintain my original protocol. Happy new yr. |
I dont think the Jamb managements were sensible taking such decision cos the two-choice method had really helped many. Maybe they want to reduce the number of people going to school, I don't know for them.
Am telling u. my bro is in school because of second choice. Second choice has helped many ppl. |
Siena: Exported and re-imported as foreign shoes, to which countries?Where do u import it own from? Am telling u there are many Aba made ' Made in Italy', ' made in china shoes. There are much in Dubai and Asiatic countries |
Igbos have the best wealth distribution doesn't necessarily mean richest. all ppl in the top of Forbes list are embezzlers of public funds and aren't self made. Igbos are not necessarily like that. Show me where I wrote every Igbo man builds a mansion. None. Just know that all mud houses in igboland were built then, not now unlike ur place. . Again, yes sb that sells okirika can be rich. there are rich okirika dealers, they mustn't build mansions but they spend wisely and save. I know yorubas don't understand the power of saving, till they get a govt post where they will loot like tomorrow no dey,. Show me a self made rich Yoruba: ur Forbes listers - adenuga, okoya, etc are what they are . Thieves . |
So, udo emechago chia na thread a? O kakwara unu mma. @ me for u, o di mma etu I siri yoo mgbaghara, maka na udi agwaa I kpara mere mu ihere rii nne. Ndi Igbo ndi ozo no na akwado ebonyi, I Soro ndi ofe na ako ihe ozo. @ achi4u, Thank u. @ all, happy new year to u . |
lekkie073: north 28% of NigeriaSignificant number of SE/ ss live in the north and lagos |
@ Tribal East, I know it hurts but igbos have the best and advanced wealth distribution in the country. Y do u think an okirika seller won't be rich, them curse him? igbos are diff from yorubas, yorubas have to loot to get rich, igbos dont have to. And since not everybody can get the opportunity to loot, the result is that majority of yorubas are poor while majority of igbos are in varying ranges of the middle class. . Oyo doesn't have any reason for its poverty scale and ancient slummy face. Lagos is smaller than Oyo but we know which is finer. that one aside. I have been to Ibadan, the bad sides have swallowed the scanty good sides, its still too dirty and too ancient. Ur villages are nothing to write home about. . Igbo villages don't and can't have face me I face u. igbos are individualistic, not necessarily that communal. In my family and villages , my father and all his brothers have seperate buildings, so who is going to be facing who? Each house( which mustn't be a mansion) is seperated from the other by a fence and small land/ foliage bfr the next compound. Even in the precolonial days, a man builds His own hut, Obi and builds separate huts for his wives, as his sons grow, he builds other huts for them and so on. . those low life areas of Lagos u mentionef have more yorubas than igbos, fact. The high brow lagos areas have mire igbos. my yr 1 room mate at unizik lived with family at ajegunle, his father is even richer than mine. Don't ever in ur life think yorubas can equate to igbos in matters of hard work and success, igbos have good saving habits. U think that pure water seller in Lagos is going to squader all the days profit on one ashawo or get involved keeping lots of concubines as yorubas do. That's y u naturally don't think an okirika seller cant have a house,. Come to Onitsha, u wl find a rich person that sels only pants. They save, reinvest, expand. That's y most Igbo industrialists have more humble beginnings. Innoson was an apprentice in a motor cycle parts shop, owner of peace mass, an apprentice in motor parts and so on. . Aerial views of abiriba village are on the first page. |
Siena: If Nigeria considers her citizens inferior for daring to have a choice (which human beings DO have) when it comes to spending their hard-earned money, then I'll happily remain inferior.Na ur type Dem bin they deceive. The Aba shoes are exported and re- imported as foreign shoes. |
Y are some ppl explaining anything to this bitter man called all4odualand. if he thinks Igbo villages are filled with mud houses like their own capital cities and their villages in thecwest, he is on a long thing. He has been told severally that few mud houses are present in igboland and he is still dragging with himself. Then, nwa agbogho a eji kwuo ugwo agadi, berem sorokwanu ya na ako nonsense. Efuluefu |
chi4ik: I'm so disappointed @ so many igbo's here, y ar U people embarrassing yourselves here? Even have mind to call ur fellow igbo wawa, local etc? Have U people ever seen yoruba or hausa doing such? Let me ask U people, ar U d God that create them? Leave God to do his work. Beside, that state is fast growing despite d Fact that d state is not as old as many states that ar making mouth here. Ebonyi state is one of the new state for ur information. I love that state, they ar humble, lovely, peaceful, hard-working, 80% crime free etc. I'm from ENUGU but most of Igbo's here ar disappointing me. Wise men from d East wat is happening to U guys here?me for u monicker is Yoruba masquarading as Igbo. |
dayokanu: I can bet the most succesful man in your village, Town City and state lives in the SWSay Lagos not just SW. But its not true anyway in my own case. In my village for eg The most successful in non businesses say professionals live in overseas, Enugu. Most successful popular business men in my village live in Abuja, Aba and Onitsha . Then Lagos and kano. The most successful importers live in Lagos. The most successful nollywood ppl live in Enugu, Asaba and Lagos. The most successful in making of fashion items and igbo made products live in Aba. That igbos are doing well in lag doesn't mean the most successful igbos are there, the Igbo tribe is an unpredictable one. Innoson and ibeto for eg are more successful than many Igbo ppl in Lagos but these are based in nnewi, their hometown. . btw, since SW is flowing with milk and honey as u want to dream, y are there much destitute yorubas in Lagos than igbos. The general point is that no part of yorubaland is presentable: capitals are far below par and ancient. Slums everywhere. Villages are ....... Stick to Lagos and do so well, the most successful igbos don't live in ogun, osun, ekiti |
sandijey: If u read to understand, u would have seen where I stated that I don't no what that means but it always sounds derogatory to me!!!!! So what's ur stress?u thought it was in ebonyi osiiso. don't deny it |
