to be like Jesus, to be like Jesus, all i ask, is to be like thee, all through life's journey, from earth to glory all i ask is to be like thee |
@Rhodalyn, yeah i mean Manners, or rather mannerisms: you know there are some peeps who like pick their noses like 3 times every 2minutes, or like dip the whole thumb and fore-finger into the nose, and maybe talking to you and picking finger nails, scratching something that doesnt exist in her hair or something, or doing something that gets their mind engaged wrongly, doing the right thing at the wrong time, u know, biting/moistning lips every minute, talking with the whole mouth or, voice level, Eyes, - the eyes are the gateway to the soul. If its someone im interested in, i look deep into the eyes. The eyes reveal a lot, also tell if such a person is attentive or is a talking drum, the frequency of her blinking(truth quotient), Jaws, a firm jaw is a sign of a confident woman |
5 Years from now: hhhmm - I pray to be a Happily married Husband, with a lovely wife. - should have earned my PhD in Electrical Engineering - cars, house, 2kids, great job |
@xphanti thanks for your list. quite interesting. The Children are not allowed to watch television.i can't imagine what i would do without watching TV.Wow, you can't imagine what you would do without watching TV? I have a whole lot of things to do. We didnt attend Deeper Life when we were young and you bet, my dad didnt allow us to watch TV. We had a TV in the house, allright, but the first command was "thou shalt not watch TV". Reason, to help our acadmics. He didnt want us to become addicts. Today, TV is a major sickness in the Western world. I attended a seminar sometime ago, i myself was surprised. Let me tell you bout myself: we didnt attend DL then. No music until after 5pm. The radio must not even cough. , im talking Mon-Sun. I had a time-table i followed round the clock. If your homework isnt done before 6pm, you are in deep sh*t. We dressed descently, longsleeves/polo t-shirt, no jeans. If you made a mistake and broke the glass cup, immediately announce that yes, i broke it and i am very sorry, you don't get punished. If i see my brother/sister doing something bad, i warned them/viceversa, immediately and if he doesnt change, go tell dad/mom. The second major rule in the house was we must not fight - under no conditions should we fight, not among ourselves nor with neighbors (3) we all eat together, no matter how hungry you are, wait for the rest, except someone is out. Evenings, we go out and play with friends, , no friends over before that time 6pm, 7 dad and mom check the homework, help with whatever we don't understand, 8, we watch tv, 8:30-9pm pray and go and sleep.By the time i got to high-school, i was disciplined, no need to be pushed/cajoled around to study/do things. Things came in handy, i mixed with good peeps, didnt get myself into trouble, even when in boarding schl, if the whole class was to be punished for any offense, i always went free, Not that i was some teachers pet, but I guess they knew what i was/wasnt capable of. In fact my friends in school never invited me to trouble zones, Now, im greatful for such an upbringing. As i said we were not DL mbrs then and he never outlined any rules from the Bible. if he didnt do such, i wont be where i am today. Now, i have the money and i have the TV, and all the gadgets i can buy, but after CNN/BBC, i get myself busy with other important things. How can i spend 5hrs in front of a TV? when im not sick. Its better to be on nairaland, don't you think ![]() now i bet you would say, what a nice life i had, but there was no Deeper Life, then. I grew up normally, had friends, had my friends, went biing, but i always knew when to draw the line when it came to what was acceptable to be done and what was not. For my sister, by the time my mom worked on her hair with some excellent braids, she was always the crowd favourite. some of her white friends even came around to get their hair done. did she wear trousers, nope, but she always had shorts underneath just in case she falls over on the swing or somewhere. she doesnt have a problem wearing skirts now. maybe i should post her picture here, you'll be surprised she doesnt have makeup, yet so pretty. Beat this: Her ears are not pierced Nothing beats Nature!!!! |
@ papa thanks for the advice bro. Ill keep my posts short and simple. You know my problem - I type so fast that i forget ive typed like 10pages equiv. and for your reason for not attending because of Rom 5:20, rather than get deterred by the first part of the verse, ask God for grace for the second part Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:Its the fact that God can give you grace to live above sin, that makes living for Jesus most interesting. Anyone, old or young that TRULY loves Jesus will be ready to set himself/herself aside. @dearzi someone said it's better to sin outside the church than inside, i'm so sorry, that's wrong, sin is sin, where you do it doesn't matter--it is still sin. This is why youths are running away from deeper life, you can't force them to adhere to rules,Yes, sin is sin. And truly, no body in the Deeper Life is forcing anyone(member or newcome) to adhere to rules and regulations. Where are the set of rules and regulations. Do they say/teach anything other than what is in the Bible. If we say these youth are running away from the church becoz of rules and regulations which are found in the Bible, then seriously these youths are not ready for God in their lives, in the first place. it really doesn't matter what you want to see, because God's looking at the heart anyway! not their dressing (not like it don't matter)Another way to see it is like this: Jesus said: John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. The whole God-Man relationship is simply put: Love from God to man. Love from man to God. thats all. God loved man, He sent His Son Jesus to make a way for man's forgiveness of sin. Man never petitioned God to send His son as sacrifice, but God soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo loved man. John 3:16 If man truly loves God, he will put himself(his body, soul and spirit, his ego "I" under subjection/control so that he can demonstrate his love to God. Now the proces of putting my body, soul and spirit under control will definitely be painful to me, but God has gone a step further, the Holy Spirit is around to help me do that, note, God makes a way for us to please Him, so its not too hard to do, in the real sense of the word, if we as Christians want to commit ourselves to loving God.Its like what they use to tell us in schl: that you cant pass a subject until you like your teacher. Its not that the teacher will single you out for failure, but you will hinder yourself from passing that subject if you hate your teacher because in the first place, none of whatever he/she says(no matter the length of the explanation or the number of examples used) will make sense to you since their is no personal interest in your heart for your teacher and the subject. So the ball is in our court. you see!! Now, God is our teacher and Love is the subject. And we know we cannot serve two-masters. Remember that Moses out of love and sympathy, defended his people, killed an egyptian(that was wrong anyway), wasnt accepted by the israelites of his physical appearance: 11And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.later the daughters of Jethro thought he was an egyptian 18And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?A man that loves a woman will do everything he can do just to win her heart. He will call her 24hours a day, ask her if she has eaten even if he himself has nothing to eat, hold the umbrella while shes walking, look descent in front of her, be gentle, talk descently, defend her in public, might even become a street fighter if some guy tries to mess around doing everything just to win her affection, Imagine if this guy/girl decide to go out and its the guy that dresses up like a garage boy, unkempt hair, dirty clothes etc, the girl will definitely beg-off, or maybe its the girl that dresses as if she was some pick-up girl and the guy happens to come from a descent background, he will first recall: if mom/dad sees me with this, they might think im after prostitutes, so he'll beg off, but at least both of them should be presentable to themselves and to the outside world, thats when they can receive praise, not insults. my sister, the dressing part mattters. Im not saying you should dress up and cover yourself with a blanket, the ideal is descency. Cover what needs to be covered, period, both for male and female. Moses was the man God will use, but God had to change his mind-set, his physical appearance/comportment, everything, Even in our present day, someone that dresses smartly, descently and is in order from head to toe is given some respect(regardless of whether/not he has money in his pocket). Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue. |
ok, so the whole world knows that Bill Gates is Mr Rich guy, just wondering: Should he still collect Dowry on his daughter? |

really love my job? nah, making do with it coz ive got some breezing internet access? oh yes. if i did not have internet access? would i be here? hell no. my profession is not in this nigerian picture: myself in a laboratory, wizzing around the 4-corners of my office in a rolling-chair, checking books and manuals, and trying to come up with a transistor with just 2-terminals. If I can do that, every electronic equipment can be reduced by 50% in size. Then ive arrived. till then, im still here in NL. |
for the ladies, i think/heard there is some group about lady engineers in Nigeria, i don't know if theyve got a website or something, if i find out info, ill post. Ghana has a large and active group and they hold yearly conferences etc, and many Nigerians are part too, its West Africa wide, @josboy4Lif I like to c female mechanics. It just turns me onYoure not alone in that department @ladies The truth first and formost: -the reason why females don't go into engineering/perhaps they are not many in Africa and Nigeria most especially is because generally, females are seen as the weaker sex, but worse, they see themselves as weak which now makes things worse. I think you ladies should try change that image. Second: such a bad-perspective as i described above will change when Africa, or lets start with Nigeria attracts foriegn investors to come into the country and assemble real-time electronic components. I'm not talking about the ones they do at Ikeja, or all these computer companies that assemble PCs. But honestly, Why shoudnt a lady be employed to be repairing computers? an example:I'm from China. In Asia, go to tech-companies like Motorola, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu etc, where electronic components are assembled, designed and manufactured, you'll be surprised, its all women on the assembly line, as test engineers, supervisors, component/device engineers etc, so there a whole lot of women are encouraged to go into engineering because the opportunities are available. Unlike in Nigeria where you might find a handful females in engineering, a whole lot of my classmates in school were girls. Now, still maintaining contacts with them, let me say if im keeping contacts with 100 of them 90 are still in the industry, married with kids and in active-engineering positions. I'm not talking of sitting in the office receiving calls, im talking of field engineering. Besides, in Nija here, all we do like scratching the surface of eggs, we dont really dig-deep-into the nitty-gritty core-engineering, so even the male engineers fare no better. anyway, keep it up girls. |
WHAT ELSE WONT THEY SAY Let the scoffers say what they want. They are nothing but a bunch of scoffers. @jagunlabi You make me laugh, o boy. You started the thread with a news article from msnbc.msn.com. Then you go on and say: The real joke probably is that christians have been decieved all along, for millenia long.It is now that the truths are beginning to surface. You know what: man reveals who he is through his words. I guess you must have been looking for these kind of Christianity-condemning-pro-antichrist topics on the web. The Bible even said in the Last days, Anti-Christs will arise. Even if you found it by mistake, at least something must have been leading you there. It would have been better if you took time to read previous posts on NL about religious related topics, what people said, their opinions etc. You didnt actually need the msnbc comment to start trash-talking. Mr. Jagunlabi (1) Not everything that you see on the internet is 100% truth, allright? Learn to see beyond the news, see those writing it, see the financiers. I believe you wont be interested to see beyond the news, doing your own research as you are a ready proponent of such a wrong religious view. I know some of those already.I know even some that will knock you off your feet.Example: while some people are suing tobacco companies because cigarette gave them a cencer gift, some others are advertising it on TV, with a tender voiced warning, smoking is dangerous to your health, consult your doctor. Tell me that those people behind the tobacco industry dont know that cigarette is bad for health on a long run? tell me they dont know the difference between black and white. But hey, its what they are paid to do, right. But, no shaking, i stand with @nightrider: You'd have to knock Jesus of the cross and knock him back into the grave to knock me of my feet. The world can spin all the stories it wants. I'm standing on the rock.Satan cant even try it, not to talk of a mortal human like jagunlabi. The truth is that the story on your msn weblink is quite LAME!!! Let me add salt and pepper: The truth is that there is someone that has to get a PhD in religion somewhere, and he/she has to cook up some news to shake the world. Thats ingenuity on its own. At least the major and ingenuous idea associated with Nigeria is 419, and we have received world-recognition for that. So, definitely, someone has to get into the lime-light by discovering the "gospel of Judas". And is it not so stupid, whoever is behind the discovery left the whole Old Testament, passed by the New Testament, passed by the Gospels, threw away all that Paul wrote, totally forgot the Revelation, picked out the disciples one by one and landed on Judas - saw his faithfulness, and his sincerity in following the Lord, and in Jesus' interest in Him to become the Betrayer. ---------------------- this is a small digression from the topic, but its worth reading: You might have come across the Satanic Bible. If you dont know, now you do. There is a Satanic Bible, that some people in America and Europe read. They gather together (like Christians do) for "Satanic Worship". They sing and clap in "Satanic Praise". They even Preach their own "Satanic messages" and go our for evangelism - soul winning. Now, wont you be scared if someone came to you preaching Satan.? The info I have says their leader is the son of a Baptist pastor, and that some of his key leaders went to Bible school, Seminary, to study the Bible. Guess what thesis they came out with: The gospels according to Satan. While a student in Univ, in the Library, i came across this nice looking hard covered Bible, and the cover just caught me off my feet. Lo and behold, twas a picture of Jesus with a ponytail, with earings and lipstick. I was like wow. I spent the next 5-hours reading to my dismay, what people would do for research in this world of ours. Just some intro: In Genesis, God is referred to as (she), and God created Eva. Eva named all the animals, asked God for a help meet, God made Eva to sleep, took out of her(Evas) ribs and created Adam. Eva sees Adam, and says, this is the bone of my bone, Eva is potrayed as the head of the family, because she received instructions from God and tells Adam what to do. In fact, twas Adam that got deceived by satan and now called his wife to eat the fruit. Their kids, Cain and Abel were the first 2-girls in the garden and Seth was the first boy, now should i continue? Jesus in the new testament was a lady, i forgot what they said about mary and joseph, anyway, she(Jesus) had 12 lady disciples. Now imagine someone sitting down and from Genesis to Revelation wrote all such crap. I turned to the back to see the author, and twas a lady, who got a PhD in divinity(i think) with a major in God and woman relationship. Part of the info is that she goes around the world holding seminars and proposing her faith that the Bible is from a (she) perspective. Ill look for her website and post it. ------------------------------------ back to the topic The question is: Wasnt it prophesized in the Old Testament that the Son of God will be betrayed and woe betides whoever will betray the Lord? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12186080/ The newly translated document’s text begins: “The secret account of the revelation that Jesus spoke in conversation with Judas Iscariot.”And to whoever believes in the above should please explain these verses from the Bible: Luk 6:16 And Judas [the brother] of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor. If Judas did not betray Jesus, how did Satan come into the picture. Do you mean Jesus, Judas and Satan planned together to hatch the plot? Jhn 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? Jhn 12:1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. Why should Jesus, the emblem of Love Himself call Judas(the Bible calls him a thief, someone that has no love anywhere in his heart) aside, give Him a vision and mission that He(Jesus) could not give to any member of His inner circle members(Peter, James and John), just so that woe will fall upon his (Judas) head, and for Him to fulfill the scriptures? What qualified Judas to "receive the mysteries of the Kingdom" that Peter could not receive? What made Judas so special? And what agreement has Jesus with a thief For such a mission as the one described on the weblink you provided(http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12186080/), i believe, Jesus should have chosen the best of His crew. At least, thank God, they(scholars) didnt say that Judas was forced to betray Jesus, meaning he betrayed Jesus on his own free-will. And if Jesus and Judas planned it, why did Judas hang himself afterwards? Mat 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,I believe if what Judas did was a "Jesus sanctioned assignment" Judas should not have said what he had said in Mat 27:4(Judas admitted guilt), isnt it. or is the part of Judas hanging himself part of the plan also? Is there any mystery of the Kingdom in the Bible that tells anyman to go and kill himself. Of what good would the death of Judas and the death of Jesus do to Christianity. Did Judas have to die? did he receive any reward for it? The Bible said someone was going to betray the son of God, but no names were mentioned. If Jesus had to go and personally commission Judas for the job, why wasnt Judas specifically mentioned anywhere. He gave his heart over to the devil. Then Mr Jagunlabi, you should ask yourself where and when did Jesus take Judas apart for this special revelation? was there any writer in the Bible, any theologian, any historian in past or recent times that ever talked/suggested anything about the "closeness of Jesus and Judas"? How come he got a gospel to preach. So where did this new relationship between Judas and Jesus start from? Its only the author that knows, and unfortunately, he's not around now to back-up His script. But you know the best part: God has been backing up His Word since Genesis, Jesus has been backing up His promises, the Holy-Spirit has been backing up the Believers. So theres no need to fall-prey to history that has no back-up. @obong its just an old cult, why is everyone so fascinated with tis xtianity stuff. its clear someone a long time ago decided what story would be told and what would not be, and today the same group is doing it again,. by diggin up old caves to find scrolls that were supposedly lost, just to further generate interest in this cultChristianity is a way of Life. Christianity is not a cult. By the way, Obong, what do you believe in. Scientists tell us that man mortal man cannot claim to exist without a belief. So Obong, which cult are you in? ![]() @slac There are dark secrets hidden in christianity and i know the worst is yet to come.Believe in Jesus first, He'll explain all you need to know to you. @jagunlabi Who are we africans to debate what is true and what is false within a foreign,or to be more precise, european liturgy?Have we ever really, trully as black africans, studied the true history of this religion that we have so foolishly adopted as ours?Do we really know how it was formed? What dark, sinister secrets have been hidden from the rest of the world, including us, for thousands of years about this cult called christianity?Blind followership won't get us to paradise,as a lot of you guys have been decieved by indoctrinated brainwashing.Fine, Jagunlabi, we Africans are not in a position to verify debate anything, neither do we have the brainpower or resource to verify anything. Ok, so what? have you, on your own personal effort or anyone in nairaland ever spent 12 consecutive months verifying the identity of your own parents. who told you that what they looked at when you finally learnt to add 1+1 was what they looked at when you were born? what scientific steps have you taken to verify your own personal birth-certificate? is it really genuine? you should have had someone extra-ordinary to stand beside your mother to verify that you were the one that really popped out from her belly and you were not mis-placed or mis-appropriated in the Hospital to the wrong parent. All the scientific or art knowledge you know today, how many have you personally verified. How many of us here have actually disagreed with out math teacher when we found out that 1+1 wasnt equal to 2. And did you disagree with anyone when you left primary school that you wanted to change your name because you just found out that was not your original name? and then you went to high-school and university and believed all the science and art bull-shit that all the professors told you? and for those of us who graduated at the top of our class, did we get an award for believing a whole lot of errors/unverified theories we were told about, and which we had to "understand", memorize and recollect during exams for 4 or 5 long years, or was the award because we found out a whole lots of truths/course we took in college that our professors did not find out in their time as students, and for which they recognized that Yes, we were smart? please tell me, and for those who dont believe in Jesus, when did that start? when you were one year old? of when you were 6 or 7 and reasoning began descending on you? whatever you believe in today: is it a personal revelation/effort on your part. Let the Catholics tell me they had a personal revelation and their belief is different from others, let the Muslims tell me that there was a supernatural revelation before you decided for Allah, If i say im an aethist, i and a whole lot of other people are aethists, and what is the basis of our belief for us calling ourselves african aethists since we as Africans never heard any way of verifying anything(religion, science, art, facts, figures, technology, nothing), nothing about what we were told(that there is a God, or there is no God), or that there is one who doesnt give a damn about whats happening? Let someone tell us about his own personal research you have done, and what results you have gotten that are different from what others have or had gotten. So Mr. jagunlabi, if your conclusion that African Christians are wrong in their belief in Jesus, since as you said they had no way of verifying the history of their faith, then the same is true for you that you(and all those who despise Christianity) are wrong in your disbelief in Jesus because you have not, as a person verified the root cause and history of what faith or faithlessness holds sway in your heart and mind. Its just two sides of the same coin, brother, an application of some logic. Let me give you another problem to solve: do you know Mr Jagunlabi, that your two ears are not on the same level on your head? One is higher than the other. Take a mirror , and a tape-rule and a measure and measure the distance from center of your head downwards to your left and right ear. You might not notice the difference, but the difference is there. Now, what have you done as regards this discrepancy. But its truth. Perhaps, you might just be knowing for the first time.Man ceases to exist when he ceases to belief in a supernatural being. There is an element of God in every human heart and soul, whether that person likes it or not. Its either we resist it, or accept Him. The greater truth is that the host of Heaven always back up the Bible. The Bible was one of the first references on science and medicine. Im not here preaching Christianity, neither am I despising it, im just trying to make you see the import of having a balanced view on things. And Mr Jagunlabi, what personal effort have you made to verify the genuineness of this Nairaland forum, and all the technology the internet offers us, I can conclude that yes, these things were imposed on you. Naturally, common sense should make us to see the light, but its a pity tha what each of us is born with that is so common, is no more common. @orikinla On those calling Christianity a foreign religion, which religion is not foreign? And i wonder how many Nigerians have gone to Iraq to go and verify the roots of their Faith, yet Ifa divination is now on the intenet. ![]() should i end now? Mr Jagulabi and his likes: If the Bible is what you dont believe in, NairaLand is not the best resource for you to prove your disbelief or find your faith. |
@Aamy hhmmm, the best part i liked was the "falling for themselves over the phone" but i think @destiny is right "Look before you leap" especially from Phone to reality.!!! |

The way i see the Nigerian Policeman? ------------------ 20 Naira Policeman Each day is a 20 Naira day for the Nigerian Policeman, each vehicle, a potential prey, so break all the laws you can. They stand at the corner of the street, eyes roving, alert as a cat, they are waiting with clenched teeth, ready for all, whether lean or fat. Make sure you have the 20 Naira note. Fold lengthwise, slip between you fingers, your left hand hanging from your window - afloat, be quick about the financial transfer, as if you just gave him a handshake he'll look the other way and you're free you have given him his piece of cake, and you have your cup of tea. Its no secret, its common knowledge: "make una give am 20 Naira, make we go" a passenger says as if it was the pledge. I look in a wander, to and fro if he'll give it, if he'll take it, and quickly the exchange was made, eyes read the mind, the mind reads the eyes, daylight corruption - not in a shade. Extortioners, claiming to be looking for robbers, trotting guns in full army gear, asking "are you the owner of this car?" They'll stop you if your car is new, and if old, they'll think you're a runaway jaguda, their case is a hot pot of stew but 20 Naira gets you out, fast and clear. At every 10 minute drive on the highway, a roadblock - a 20 Naira toll gate, going into greedy pockets, day by day, The "friendly faces" are primary bait, they'll charge you for what you never did, a summary offence is what its called when you refuse to pay the 20 Naira bail. Conscience? where is their conscience, as they put 20 Naira bribe food on the table, pay their bills and send their children to school. How will God bless those innocent kids, reared with the 20 Naira bribe, how can they become responsible citizens, life father like son, like mother like daughter. Its a shame, its a mystery who will deliver us from this miry clay, if you don't give, you'll be harassed, if you do, just to save your neck they are encouraged in their evil deed, we are caught between a wall and a rock, so why won't people break the law when 20 Naira spells freedom. ----------------------- |

I PRAY TO GOD THAT ABUJA WILL NEVER BECOME LIKE LAGOS!! however, the truth is that sane-minded Abuja is fast becoming rough. Armed robbers are on the rise. Things are getting rougher and rougher everyday. Living in the town is expensive, so many people live in the outskirts, nassarawa border, kaduna border etc. Many high-brow areas, very wide roads(and a lot of Okada motorcycle deaths, coz they speed like crazy, causing more accidents), |

Love is Blind Love is blind. Forever it will bind. It engulfs the mind. Like a spiders web it will wind. Love is blind. Blind to black and white, Blind to loose in the light, Blindly, it'll start a fight. Love is blind. Only sees what is at hand. Looks like a fertile land. It can sink in quick sand. Love is blind. It would sting and bite. Makes the weak strong in might. Its a burden, and its not light. Love is blind. It'll do anything. It'll say anything. It loves everything. Love is blind. Hurt, it'll say "I'm sorry", "please don't worry", "don't leave in a hurry". Love is blind. "lets give it another chance", "play the music, lets dance", "let us undo the distance". |
Love Love is mysteriously mysterious Love must be proportionally proportional Love is a mystery Love is always a long story Love is like magic Love is not a spell Sometimes you can't understand why It binds in so strong a tie Love sees no boundaries Love considers no alternatives Love is strange, doesn't wear with age True love does not change Love is gentle and is kind Love is and is not blind Love sees with the heart What others can't fathom in their minds. Love is what the world needs Not money and not honey Love is the answer that everyone seeks Love is the power that'll make us all meek. Love is priceless Love is timeless God has shown the perfect example When he gave up his Only Son. True love is divine True love is an extra mile True love is not in name only True love is in deed and truth. |
I Thought, Hand in hand, They had walked down the aisle. Hand in hand, They had been pronounced man and wife. Hand in hand, They had walked out of the church. Hand in hand, To Hawaii for a honeymoon. She still looked so beautiful, Just as the way she had always been. He remembered that gown she wore, He had given her on their first anniversary. Three long years of work in Canada, She might have forgotten him, her cutie pie Hearing that her flight had arrived, He planned to give her a BIG surprise. Tapping her on the shoulder in the lounge, He planted a long wet kiss on those soft lips, "uuhmm uuhmm uuhmm" he signed Before a blow landed on his head Two weeks later, hands cuffed in court, The judgement: six months in prison When asked if he had anything to say, "I thought she was my wife" he said. |
LOVE Love is a language which we all understand, but in different ways, from him to her, from land to land. It sees beyond the surface and speaks right to the heart, making it beat at a faster pace, Its a feeling that never departs. Many fall in love and their hearts are broken, others can't even remember how it started, each one just has to pay a token. It doesn't matter who, it doesn't matter where, Love's one plus one doesnt make two for Love endures the test of time. |
LOVE THOUGHTS We are all looking for Love, the rich seeks a trustable friend, the poor seeks one to make straight his bend. Love is the free gift of life, the release from the bondage of self. Only then, can you love your neighbour as yourself. Love is more than a 'beautiful word', for no deed has a meaning without it - Love, It was first shown to us by God above. Love is the school where all learn to Love, and rise above jealousy and all selfishness, above all self and self-righteousness. Love, given, is never lost, Love to a friend, or to a total stranger, Like a seed, you'll reap what you sow, near or far. True Love is that which sees beyond the surface, to touch into the soul of another human, Its a Miracle that happens whichever way it can. True Love trusts and forgives, Just as Christ forgave us our sins, True Love empties its hurts from its recycle bin. True Love is gentle, not forceful, Many have tried, perhaps too hard and have failed, terrified to try again, such think of its cost. True Love is costly, for it risks being rejected, but really there is no fear in Love. It should be offered, pure and white as a Dove. True Love seeks not to capture another for self, Its no struggle, just an inner strength giving way for another to hear and understand what isn't said. Let Love flow to and from the depths of your heart, for then you'll find the meaning to this life, you would be spared from many a strife. Never hate anyone, for hate destroys you. Lilies come out white in a pond of mud. Let it go, and Let God. ---------------------------------------------- |
I wrote them all, enjoy!!! many more, if you need dem lemme know!! LOVE NOTES!!!! It is Love - when you look into a pair of eyes and Realize that nothing matters more than being with the person whose eyes stare back at you. It is Love when someone means so much to you as to consume everything from your waking thoughts to the last thing you think about at night. It is Love, when you try so hard not to think about 'that person' whose thoughts consume your mind, yet the harder you try, the more your heart wonders yonder into love's dreamland. It is Love, when you begin to find so much happiness in the little moments you get to see, or talk to that 'someone' who has become 'someone special'. It is Love, when unconsciously, you begin to strive, to look good to, to do something for, to know more of, to talk to, and for more time to be with 'someone special. It is Love, when no matter how ugly or how rugged, 'someone special' looks, yet he seems, yet she seems the most wonderful edifice God has ever made. It is Love, when you feel you can say anything to, and everything to, 'someone special', and you begin to say anything and everything. It is Love, when even though distance separates you, and time indeed takes its toll, but nothing can compare, to the happy memories you had together, all making you wish you two would be together again. And when you might have finally caught, this Love picture drawn, and when you've truly found, you own and one true Love, you would be fully convinced and satisfied, when you walk down the isle to say, "I DO"!! |

, im talking Mon-Sun. Evenings, we go out and play with friends, , no friends over before that time 6pm, 7 dad and mom check the homework, help with whatever we don't understand, 8, we watch tv, 8:30-9pm pray and go and sleep.
under subjection/control so that he can demonstrate his love to God. Now the proces of putting my body, soul and spirit under control will definitely be painful to me, but God has gone a step further, the Holy Spirit is around to help me do that, note, God makes a way for us to please Him, so its not too hard to do, in the real sense of the word, if we as Christians want to commit ourselves to loving God.
