I have a LAN actually, made up of:
- a P4 WinXP Laptop = I use it for surfing
- a P4 Fedora Core Machine = i set it up as a mail/file/mp3 server
- a Firewall Machine(linux) = as firewall/proxy server
- a P4 Win2000/XP desktop = has C++, VB, etc = for application development/WebDesign
- a Cisco 2950 switch
- a P3 WinXp = just for hacking

as much as possible, my firewall machine and mail/file/mp3 server are always on.

The first thing I do when I log on to my computer, usually the P4 WinXP is to do security checks here and there, check my logs, etc , If everything is fine, I check up on Client websites, to see if things are ok. If all is well, then i check my mails first, and after, google+Nairaland.

The Only Needed Sacrifice

Christ our great master said "Come unto me,

And I will give you rest". The promise of rest is sure,
but still, many of us love labor and so take a detour.

Christ's sacrifice is all we need on planet earth.
He paid it all, saved man from ultimate death,
gave him hope for eternity in heaven with God,
and power to spread his coasts on earth abroad.

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS!!!

At the Foot of the Cross,
the Soldiers playfully gathered,
jeering at the "Savior" they had crucified.
Of Him, they were the least bothered.

At the Foot of the Cross,
Jesus' blood was dripping,
but the busy Soldiers never knew,
that it could save them from their sin.

At the Foot of the Cross,
they cast their armour and garments by,
for Jesus' garments they would cast lots,
one by one, they each had a try.

They had seen Jesus the Savior,
they even heard His words of eternal Life,
yet, they pitched their tent with Pilate,
and lost the greatest opportunity of Life.

Today, many generations past,
Christ's Love has spread the world over,
yet, there are still many 'Soldiers',
hearing the words of Life, but not believing,
seeing, but still jeering,
day by day, still casting their lots.

At the Foot of the Cross,
some had doomed themselves for destruction,
It was also at the Foot of the Cross
that many have found their Salvation.

Ive not seen a serious nigerian movie o, i mean real action, there is always a spiritual something somewhere. Its either that the movie is about somebody killing someone, or using some diabolical powers to do something evil, and the special effects are not so realistic, i suggest the Nollywood stakeholders should go get some training on computer graphics, even if they wont use the knowledge for a movie like jurassic park, at least, they'll use it to kill themselves.

And these evil-spiritually-infested films corrupt children easily. By the time you see juju on film, u'll want to know what it is in reality.

and I wonder why intellectual minds of today are always on the prowl to find something wrong with Christianity. Is it because they know its the truth, yet they'll fight to finish trying to disprove it? The Bible is there for all to read, free for all,

December is just around the corner, and just before we get there, what is Christmas going to be associated with, or should we stop the celebration all together?

Nonsense! You will not find one place in the Bible where it says all "non-Christians" are going to hell.

the Bible doesnt call someone a Christian/Non-Christian, those words are mans distinguishing factor, but the Bible still says:

Ps 9:17 - The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

hhhmmm. The word "Christian" in the time of Jesus connoted that someone really believed in, and lived according to the dictates of God Almighty, as exemplified by Jesus Himself.

Today, the word "Christian" has been bastardized, brought low to a level whereby, should one profess to be one, you might still have to do a double/triple-check. Today, the profession is more of a paperwork- im not saying there are no genuine Christians. There are, plenty, plenty, Worse is that, many people pick and choose the part of the Bible they feel more comfortable with and say o yes, I'm a Christian.

so Yes, in simple terms, anyone: (all these should be present-tense):
- who hasn't accepted the totality of Jesus Christ(his life, death, ressurection and expection of mankind),
- who hasn't accepted Him as Lord and Savior of his/her life,
- who hasn't at one time or the other genuinely repented of his/her sin, and ask God for forgiveness,
- who isnt living a life characterized by purity of heart, faith in God and Obedience to Gods word,
- who isnt living in the expectation of Jesus' return,

I cant say anyone with the above qualities is a genuine Christian!!

I would rather see it from the definition/estimation of the "riches" and "success" , as in to what extent. Should the man have 5-cars, 3-houses, a 5-million naira investment, a Masters degree minimum educ. qual. etc?

or would you consider this: a descent man, car/no car, a decent apartment, a good job(with how much as salary, pls enumerate here <>, financially stable(one doesnt need to have bought a house in Maitama before he can be financially stable o), mature and loving, to be rich and successful?

I remember I first landed back in Nija just some few yrs ago, and my mom had already prepared a very serious 360 degree Pandi with some serious vegetable. the way the pandi looked, i knew that this one was the original.
O boy, i took my first morsel, swallowed, and then my second, wow, my teeth, and cheek bones left and right, ached me so bad that i could not close my mouth for like 3-4 minutes. In john14: Jesus said he is " the Only way" in acts 4:12,no other name by which men shall be saved.and the references are just too many.

But now the multibillion dollar question stands all day long! Can a non-christian who does not believe in Christ go to heaven?  I'm talking about Muslims and other religions like the bahi and judaism. Can a well thinking person answer me without any atom of fanaticism? I need cogent proofs.

hhmmm, not only did Jesus say that He is the Only way into the Kingdom of God, the great heroes of faith in the Bible also attested to the fact that its only through the remission of sins that one can be saved and enter into the Kingdom of God.

As much as God would allow all of mankind to enter into Heaven, everybody cannot be accomodated because:
1) He is Holy, man is sinful. His eyes does not behold sin.
2) Out of His mercy, He has provided a way for man to return unto Him, through the death of Jesus, yet, man still rejects Him. He has been calling ages and ages unto man, but only a few have attended to His call.

Forget the idea of a Non-Christian and the Christian. There are only two kinds of people: Sinners and Saints.

Sinners have surrendered the totality of their lives over to sin, self and the devil,
Saints have surrendered the totality of their lives over to God Almighty.

In the sinner's life, he dictates for himself, his flesh rules, and the world reigns.
For the saint, he/she Obeys God, the Holy Spirit guides his words, thoughts and deeds, He lives for the Father, and God reigns.

The sinners body is the temple of sin, satan and his agents.
The saints body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.

The circumstances of life guide the life of the sinner, while the saint disciplines himself/herself, so that he/she can abide by the dictactes of the Word of God.

The sinner will only be allowed into Heaven if he/she forsakes his/sin, asks God for forgiveness, and becomes a born-again child of God. He will no more be-called a sinner, he will now be called a saint.

- If God would allow the sinner(in his sin) into Heaven, that means the life of righteousness lived by the saint is all in vain.
- If God will allow the sinner(in his sin) into Heaven, that means the death of Christ is in vain.
-If God will allow the sinner(in his sin) into Heaven, that means, God is not Holy, as He says He is, that means the Heaven is not a Holy place, concluding that the word of God is not true. But the good news is that the word of God is true.

So, the answer is No, sinners wont get to Heaven. No sinner has gotten there since the world began, and no sinner will get there.
