There is no shame in it naa, I am getting married to my woman and her character and not her parents one-room flat, so wetin consine agbero with overload ![]() |
hilarious OP, has anybody spoken to the lady at any point in time to ask why she has not been helping out as expected? Do you realise she might not even be aware that you guys are not happy with her? Remember she is coming from a different family and not familiar with how you guys run your things... It is this break down in communication that turn MILs against their DILs. Expectations needs to be expressly communicated and not assumed. |
@sayoberry - nice stories. I laughed so hard. God bless them. @ megilicious - you can subscribe to Babycentre's "what to expect". Every week/month, it sends you a mail telling you what developmental growth you should expect with your baby @ their different ages. Please read more on their website. It will stop you from being unduly agitated over nothing since you already know what to expect. You can also join your baby's community group i.e mothers who gave birth in the same month as yourself and compare notes with them. They also have the pregnancy "what to expect" which tells you what to expect weekly during pregnancy and what stage of development your unborn baby is in. After birth, it continues with babies...I advise all FTM to subscribe to it. It really helps to answer most of the questions we have about pregnancies, birthing and how to care for our babies. ***(caveat) I am not "campaigning" for babycenter oo, I am only telling mamas what helped me during my FTM experience ni |
modath:let me say something strange... In UK, the midwives and nutritionists actually advice that we stop giving cerelac to babies According to them, it contains mere calories and it's better used during starvation when a child is not able to feed wellAccording to them, If 5 babies walk through the door, they are able to identify which baby is on cerelac cuz such babies are usually big which we Africans equate to good living. #not necessarily. Again, they say it triggers diabetes at a later date. Tufiakwa. But dunno how true this is. So my dear Modath, me I no dey give cerelac oooo. At 6 months, my young chap weighed 8.5kg coming from 3.1kg birth weight oo What they advise is exactly what nurse Kaffy is doing - delay solids till 6 months when he is fully ready. At that point, introduce him to real food but in mashed or paste form, from there, he graduates to full solid. However, the breast milk/formula should continue but of course, quantity would reduce from 6 months when solid is introduced. ***(caveat) i am not saying mamas should not use cerelac ooo, just regurgitating what the medical team told me. I have purposely refrained from talking about it before now make Nestle no come arrest me. |
ayolight:A good idea. As per expenses, pls worry less about that for now. Let's concentrate on getting the other requirements. Pls go to bed now, It's nearly midnight. |
ayolight:Other outstandings - - the opv/ipv certificate - admission letter to Light from the hospital, also to be mailed to the embassy - printed copies of the online application form - appointment letter Is it possible you collect the document from Ife before traveling to Lagos? This is to forestall any time wastage with the Dr on the set day you are traveling for the interview. Most embassies will not attend to you if you are late for your interview by even a few mins and you will have to start a fresh process to reschedule another date. Not worth the risk. |
ayolight:Since its online, you can book appointment for her but you may need to take her along for the interview especially if they require her biometrics. I'll keep checking to confirm that. However most importantly, like Caracta said, it's no 8 that looks most challenging cuz they require that you show evidence that you can pay for the treatment before the visas can be issued. We might need to raise some money first or wait for a response from Mutter. But pending then, pls go ahead to get everything else and we'll see how no 8 goes. It is well |
Ayolight, I was able to retrieve the info above online, if it's not clear enough, pls click on the links. From the info on their site, you will need to fill the form online and schedule an appointment immediately after. Pls try and get everything required before embarking on the journey. I think it's also a good idea to keep checking with Brian's dad. |

cococandy:My sister the thing tire me oo This pic has gone viral - these tents in Saudi can convienently house 3 million refugees plus the proximity advantage but still, no one is talking about it. And like you said, they share the same faith... And we have not even talked about UAE, Quatar.... http://www.infowars.com/saudi-arabia-has-100000-empty-air-conditioned-tents-that-can-house-3-million-people-yet-has-taken-zero-refugees/ http://www.globalresearch.ca/saudi-arabia-takes-zero-refugees-despite-having-100000-tents-able-to-house-3-million-people/5475650 Tearoses - Russia is a giant warlord with modern war equipment. If the situation is not managed, it will trigger a world war. Then, countries like North Korea and Iran who have been waiting for an opportunity to test their latest nuclear technology will join and hmnnnnn.....the end result will be disastrous.

dominique:Thanks Dominque. Light needs every penny that is given to her right now. Maybe she should constantly ask her husband for any monies paid into the account although that situation has to be managed with wisdom as the relationship is getting strained. There is little we can do to control information that has already gone out except to edit and send out the new info. |
salsera:This is what I honestly don't get in the whole situation The Arab nations can comfortably cater for these refugees unlike the EU whose facilities were already stretched even before their influx The refugees are not going there, these super rich countries are not offering to help on their own and no one including the EU is looking in that direction. I honestly don't get it. Instead, they are looking at the US who is the farthest from the region airlifting as many of the refugees as possible I keep asking myself, "Is this a grand plan or something"? ![]() |
ayolight:Ayolight, pls can you delete any unwanted account from this thread, not everybody will tell you they are going to transfer and not everyone has the patience of reading through all the pages to know that you've decided to use your account. If possible, post your accounts details on the first page or even your first post. And pls do not post people's names here except they tell you to cuz I remember you were asking if you could a while back. Thanks. It will end in praise for Light and the whole family. Amen. |
