By 7pm on tuesday 8/9/15,i felt something sticky running down my legs, went to the loo and found what they called the show(38 wks),i waited till husby came back ,told him,by 10pm we were at the hospital because we were told to report as soon as we saw such.i was checked and we went back home.
Just as we got home, mild contractions started,it was becoming regular and painful,by 4:30am on 9/9/15,we were back,i was already 4cm dilated.
My contractions was so intense that one started right after the other ended it was rily painful(i requested for epidural but was turned down )i was cautioned not to cry while my husband was even crying(,they later sent him away),gynae said for a1st timer it was going fast.
By 6pm i entered de labour room and with the God of women on my side birthed one big baby boy sixteen mins later.
The devil came after when placenta no gree comot even with all the injections ,i started shivering on the table while praying for God to perfect his work,40 mins later this rily big placenta came out with great clots of blood,we had won.
Only God can do this things, the reason why my ppl call him 'OlORO iHE LORO IHE LORO ENYI'.Thank you Jesus.

I made this for my baby Last night and he wolfed it down.

Age: 6m+
Ingredients: Sweet potato, apples, carrots, turkey and cabbage

How-To**

*Peel sweet potato, apple, carrot, wash and dice
*Remove skin and debone turkey, wash well and dice
*I used d innermost part of cabbage, noticed d leaves thr are softer and fresher, wash and cut

**In a pot combine carrots and cabbage, cover with water, reduce heat and steam till tender.
**Put d turkey in another pot cover with water reduce heat and steam, 15-20mins into d cooking, pour sweet potatoes and apples, cover with enough water.
**When all is cooked, scoop into a blender, discard d carrot water, use d sweet potato water to puree into the consistency u want, if d left over water isn't enough simply use previously boiled water.

****I cooked d carrot and cabbage separately cos of nitrates

lol @ zaynie, ozycy the class rep, missmalachi n soonest n thx all d same not that I want a big baby infact i stopped taking sugary stuff and a lot of other things I believe can influence having big baby, my fear is the height of the baby, the baby is very tall and the long legs really scared me, the doctor even without seeing my husband detected he is tall, he said wow that's a long baby u have there is ur husband tall i said yes honestly the two of us are tall but He is taller than me, everyone in my family is tall including dh family. I never considered our height an issue until today i don't want my baby to be extraordinarily tall that's if u understand what i mean, so I was thinking if the baby becomes fat d long legs will become short a little lol and wouldn't be as tall as am imagining that's if anybody understand what's I'm ranting about according to dh.

Or is there anything i can do to reduce the baby's height? lol
I'm really bothered though but i believe it will end in praise as he blessed me with this bundle of joy he will make all other perfect, Amen.

When God give people nothing to worry about, they must give themselves worry by force by force angry angry
Pls instead of worrying about the weight and height of an unborn baby, just go to the ttc thread and encourage mothers with genuie things to worry about. About 6 or 7 mothers encouraged you not to worry about weight, now you are bothered about height shocked

FamilyRe: Do they Have A Case Or Are They Just Being Unreasonable? by Kimoni: 4:15pm On Sep 11, 2015
Mrbrownj - lets assume we go with your theory and we pay them the 3 milla. If they come back after 5 years to get more compensation for the emotional stress they endured for the previous 5 years (after they were paid the 3 milla), would you still consider it justified to pay them?

If Yes, can we then assume we would be compensating them for as long as they live or as long as their daughter lives?

If No, on what grounds should we refuse to pay that is not applicable to the current situation?

Beat you up? Hahahaha. Hilarious... Anyways, I am sure hormones are to blame. I know this sounds weird, or like I’m rationalizing, which I probably am. but I think the hormones bring out a misguided maternal instinct. The anger “serves” to protect the fetus. Lol.

If you stand too close to some pregnant women, they will get mad. Lurk behind them, They get mad.

There are lots of pregnant women out there who are mad at the world. Its not easy jare.

I went to the city centre yesterday strictly to get my baby's milk at Aldi cuz I saw it cheaper by just a small diffference from Asda who would usually bring it home for me o

I left in the morning only to return in the evening with different bags full of junks and I couldn't believe myself when I got home.

How did 2 tins of milk change to different bags full of crackers, pistachios and other orisirisi rubbish grin grin

Yes o my hubby calls me 'madam tight' or 'bargain hunter' if I say it's cheaper elsewhere he will say no he will rather get it from the actual store or approved retailer. Na him get money o

If had goes shopping he can never ever buy tesco own brand products of ANYTHING smiley me I wanna buy own brand product die grin some certain things like kitchen towel like its a kitchen towel what's my business with brand name when I am chucking in the bin. Toilet roll is a bit different but kitchen towel is to mop up things.I draw the line at some food though but I buy tesco own brand vegetables. What's my business with birds eye?

If he wants to buy something he just goes to a shop me I 'browse' round . Still saved him £27 this week. He bought some timberland boots at JD sports for my daughter at £60 and I saw the exact same thing on timberland website on Sale for £33. I quickly asked him to return the £60 one and ordered the £33 one.

Na him sef dey buy timberland boots lipsrsealed me I will buy any boots that is nice and will keep her legs warm on SALE. wink

I tell him you say I shop a lot but your one shopping cancels like 5 of mine.

My hubby also insists on going to the shop to guy genuine products
As for me . . . Ebay
The kids laugh at me and call me mummy Ebay angry
Of course the original products dont last . . .thats why one has to buy replacements in the first case angry
but now that I heard about what caused that fire, I am more wary of these things.
These ones are originally from Apple via their products I bought and within 6 months or less and they are like this. I cant explain this consistent problem. So it pays me to go for the highest grade on eBay. It's just the fire story that got me scared now.

HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Kimoni: 7:28am On Sep 11, 2015
OmogeNG:
When it comes to antibiotics, it is a cost-benefit ratio thing. When my son had an ear infection at about 4 weeks, antibiotic was the only way out. There are some times when it cannot be avoided. That is why you should prevent infection in the first place.

In the above case, for a 3month old to have a lasting cough....expecting that cough to go on its own is not the best port of call. Cos expecting the child's immunity to catch up at this stage is too late.

That is why she MUST finish the dosage....and then put preventive measures in place.
I totally agree; while antibiotics should be a last resort, for a never ending cough, it should be used and the dosage completed.

Mamas how Una dey? Please my son's left eye is a little bit dim like something is wrong with it. Its even dripping water and specks is coming out. I'm think of observing it for like two days. What do u guys think? Any experiences?. Thanks in advance
How old is your son? Is he still breastfeeding?

If he is till an infant, you can apply some drops of breast milk and watch it for 2 days but if it's an older baby, pls see the Dr asap.

Hello mama's. How are y'all? I have been having itching nipple (not exactly my nipple but the black area around it) for a while now.. Wen I itch it becomes sore and it prevents me from bf my lo. What do I do pls?
Try a nipple cream. You would still be able to feed your baby after applying it. Or petroleum jelly but clean this off before feeding.
