debayun: In my own little opinion you should quit your job and join your wife in her business so it becomes a family business then any income earned will be an effort from both sides cos 60k in this time is nothing cos 60k is just earning $150 and to be comfortable a little u should earn at least $400 that's if u stay in a relatively cheap area. though this actually looks senseless but sensible, if actually one is very hardworking, money wise and have the technical know how, some savings from salary over two years or so invested in the business could transform the business in few years into a house hold or chain of businesses but I am not sure if any wife could understand since it's not a day one thing I am not also sure if one won't start feeling to comfortable plus such business could be a business of season, but it is a ugly but beautiful idea |

luminouz: The wife ain't supporting his family, he never said that. She said those words when she discovered he was fronting for his dad?
Again i ask you, what's the purpose of marriage if not to assist each other? Why swear to 'till death do us part' or 'in sickness and health, poor or rich'? If you are not ready to help lift up ur partner when he/she is down?... That's why I'm confused with today's definition of marriage o that is not a reason to kill the other part with burden. that is why it is very good to plan ones financial life very well before marriage |

I think a problem shared is a problem solved
my opinion, in as much as I think she shouldn't have flared up I also think you should not have told her what the change was meant for in the first place, but she is not to blame at all like someone said earlier she is stressed up cos you are not making things easy, get another job if you could or get other side hustles, since you are earning low moreover, if you were able to diversify your source of earning from day one such issues wouldn't have come up in the first place
you just have to draw her close talk to her if she is not interested in your conversion, get her what she likes to appease her and spark a conversion, pet her reassure her to continue to have believe in you just make her happy moreover nothing makes a woman more happy than money so get more alternative sources of income just measure up and relieve her abeg |

married men who loves their wives but found of cheating does it for fun of what it is, when push comes to shove that is when your would know they don't joke with their wives
Only the stupid among men would cheat on their wives to the extent their wives would start feeling the impact
my advice if your husband is found of cheating but he loves you till death, see you better don't break up you family, kill your self or disturb the peace in your life and family cos if you do you are indirectly preparing the way for side chicks to take over your position and your family, just wrap a pack or two packets of condom in his box and put him in prayers also reason with him nicely once a while, shikene don't kill ur sef
Also don't forget to always dress smashing and be at your best so that his conscience won't let him rest, even if you know the side chicks look down on them like flies and live your life to it fullest |

timmybabyface: Dear friends
Greetings to you and please pardon my manners if my ways of writing isn’t that perfect!
I met my Gf about 3years ago after my youth service in Nigeria l! she was in law school at that time and things was going on well till I finally found out that she has cheated on me when she traveled back to continue her law school in Abuja, she told me that she thought I wasn’t too serious at that time and that she’s truly sorry.
I forgive her because I love her and because of the good behavior of her parents towards me.
To cut the long story short, I have to travel outside Nigeria about one year and 8month ago to further my studies and things was really going on well between us both before I left, I always try to creat time for her out of my busy academic schedule and I still send her money according to my pocket.
When I traveled down to Nigeria to celebrate Christmas with family&friends I ask her if she has ever cheated on me when I was away. She started lying till I have to force her to talk and give her the only bible to swear but she could not do that , she was scared so she told me that she has cheated on me twice, she said the first one was when she visited her friend in Ibadan for her sister wedding and a friend of her came in without her knowledge, that she was drunk and they have sex.
She said the second one happened when she went for a job interview in Edo. according to her she said when the the interview was over that she could not go back to Lagos so her male friend log her in an hotel which both of them sleep till morning but nothing happened between them! I don’t believe a man and woman would sleep in an hotel room till morning and nothing happened! I’m a street wise and well oriented so such story is not a welcome story to me .
I’m a Nigerian I study and live in the Netherlands.
Please my dear friends kindly advise me on what to do, she has been begging me with her mom who is asking me to forgive her and that such would never happen again
Matured advice please! That I will appreciate if you marry this kind of girl I am assuring you that you will later regret, the first when she was in law school was a mistake but the second wasn't and that is truly who she is, assuming you are married to her and because of work you had to travel for a month or two this is the kind of wife who would fork your best friend and bring is family to beg you claiming it's the devils handiwork cause she sees you as a weakling from day one, use your brain don't stay in a relationship that sucks out of sympathy but if you decide to marry her out of love be ready to deal with these type of occurrence through out your marital life and don't forget a cheating wife kills faster than HIV etc the decision is yours to make |

Travel › Re: Should I Move To The UK Or Return To Nigeria? by King44(m): 8:07am On May 14, 2019 |
ShyWhale: I am a Nigerian in Germany with a German Masters degree. It's quite difficult to get professional jobs in Germany as an African as we are usually the last of the pack. The only luck I ever had was to get internships, internships that takes several months to get and usually only for short periods. The high percentage of Africans even with German Phds doing menial jobs is highly discouraging and depressing. Most are trapped in the race for survival and I can't imagine myself living life like them. I feel I could do better with my skills and education that spreads across Europe's top countries.
I made the decision to return to Nigeria, harness my skills and start up a processing company. At 25 and the sole breadwinner of an extended family, they are asking me to stay put, saying that the Nigerian environment is not good for business (I feel they are only scared of losing out on the goodies they get from me).
Also last year, the family introduced me to a female in the UK, talking about marriage to her. The said lady is a Nigerian within my age range, but born and raised in the UK. Though I have been to the UK severally to see her, I have made no commitments whatsoever as she is not the kind of lady I would marry all things being equal. She and the family have however given me a ultimatum to decide now.
What do you advice? don't let anyone force you to marry someone you don't see fit I think if you have enough knowledge, enough fund or you know how to get fund from BOI, the professional skill to manage such establishment, ambitious, persistent and does not give up easily, and you have conducted your market research to know the profitability and location that suits such establishment I think Nigeria is the best place you should be get to know people already in the business in Nigeria and learn how they have been able to cope and succeed but if you've got those qualities and have not done what's expected don't bother, if you can succeed business wise in Nigeria you can succeed easily any where around the world don't be at the foot of the leader over there just because your family are telling you not to come, you own your life |

The holy book says, you are ensnared by the words of your mouth
Be good bro.. that is just the simple truth the structure would be controlled later by agbero unless the government hand it over to a private management company, check other infrastructure in the state and check how it is being handled, the fact still remains that agberos and thugs are one of the reasons projects done in Lagos don't last long |

harley88: This is a very funny message. It simply translates into the saying Arewa Consultative Youth Forum have refused Buhari and are saying rather than Osinbajo being the puppet in the govt, Buhari is actually the puppet. That's why they send him to the UK for some days, weeks so they can control things here. That means Tinubu is actually the one running the country right now. And also they are aware the North is grossly underdeveloped and they are to blame the South . Well it's a nonsense thing they are asking for.... Why would power remain in the North?? Na only them dey Nigeria?? I think power should go to either the South East or South West. I think Osinbajo wouldn't be a bad idea if he can get his head in the game well and stop being Mr Puppet. Also Fashola would do an amazing job. For South East, I really don't know.
Just my thoughts Was once a Buhari supporter though ......now I just want VISA to Canada left for me its either the SE or SW or Any other ethnic, I don't know what the problems of some northern leader group group leader is always playing the victim card whereas SE are the actual victim, o su mi o |
