Good afternoon wonderful people.


Please I need your help with your ideas. I'm running out of ideas with my Hyundai Accent.

The vehicle idles very roughly. The RPM struggles to move from one especially when I'm at a halt, probably traffic or so. Sometimes it trips off and I have to restart.
I've gone to the technician several times and it's not yielding desired results.
We've checked:
Fuel Pump
Nozzles
Plugs
Plug cables
Coils
Changed engine oil
All to no good result.
Today we checked some of the plugs attached to the engine (I think the control air) and it's still not coming up with good results.
Before now, the rpm was just struggling to come up from idle or at park.
But after today's visit, it seems to be bouncing up and down.

Also, now my dashboard is throwing up some notifications as seen on the picture attached herein.

Guys please assist with ideas and help to interpret the dashboard notifications

I’d be in Uyo this week hopefully, if it’s okay by you, you can bribe me to come over to Calabar or you can come to Uyo then I’d check and fix it.

God ,rural area with pot holes ,and ow wey rain don start. I now hate sedans and will never drive any sedan again. To he'll with all sedans. I never expected avalon can have ball joint wohala

Only a mad man on a suicide mission will weld a ball joint. How the hell do you think a weld will hold a car with curb mass of close to 1.7tons?

Over here UPS and DHL drops your package in front of your door. The package remains there until you come home at night and pick it. It cannot happen in Nigeria. Since I started buying cars I have locked car doors less than 5 times. Sometimes I forget to lock my door.

It seems I was fortunate to get a rust and leak-free unit from Tec Store on Konga in 2017.

I regret buying their product, I feel terrible because I am being made to go to through these whole stress and measures of vile just because I made a mistake of purchasing their product.

What's happening na? I thought they always say Haier Thermocool chest freezers are the best things to happen after sliced bread? I'm beginning to think all these brands are one and the same when it comes to quality. I had an awful experience with a Bruhm chest freezer I got for my mum. We had to change compressor few months after purchase and dangerously construct a fan outside the freezer before she could continue using it. We don't talk of warranty over here as they'll tell you they have to contact Abuja or Kano. Even the Nexus 4 door fridge I recommended in either your old thread or that of Gazzuzz, the one I claimed I've been using for six years without issues, that one too don pack up 4 months ago. Body of the refrigerator started getting hot and both fridge and freezer were not cooling. We got it to continue working by constructing a condenser at the back of the fridge. The local technician I hired claimed it came with internal condenser wired in the body of the refrigerator and that that was what got burnt because it overheated due to ventilation issues in the overall plan. I tire for naija and inferior products.

I wonder why Nigeria and Nigerians can’t get products of world class quality despite spending so much on similar product than those in diaspora pay for theirs.

Op, honestly it is an issue with almost all products. It's cosmetic damage. I had something similar and just painted because I know Nigerian dealers; As soon as the good is out of the door its not their problem. The warranty is just a plaster.

You should learn to think before you randomly start talking. Same product you claim are old product are still being manufactured and sold at authorized Thermocool sales outlet.

I am currently using Haier Thermocool fridge and ac and my experience has been TOTALLY GOOD.

As for the customer care, have you tried sending them a message on Instagram or Facebook?

I sent them a message using their web based interactive robot in December and till date no response. I called their number and they gave me their technician number which I’ve been calling (they have not called me but I am the one doing the calls)

They’re an accredited dealer and not some random side shop. Besides, when did a freezer manufactured in same year it was purchased become outdated?

It’s with great pains and utter disgust I decided to write this story here because of the shoddy treatment I have gone through owning a Haier Thermocool Product.

On December 29th 2020, I bought a Haier a brand New Thermocool Freezer from an Electronic Store in Uyo to help with my keep foods from getting spoilt.
I was issued a receipt and also the warranty and instruction booklet. On the body of the freezer, “3 years warranty on Cabinet and compressor” was clearly written and pasted and after much inquiries, the sales person told me it was rust proof treated against rust and that their product was tested to confirmation of what was written on the sticker.
A year later, 21st December 2021, I left Abuja for Uyo to spend the Yuletide with my family and noticed rust forming on the bottom side of the freezer. I immediately asked my wife what happened that the product started rusting and if it was leaking, she informed me that she also started noticing these rust formations on the cabinet suddenly and it has been spreading like that for the past 2 months.
I quickly called the electronic store sales representative who told me he is no longer working with the shop but gave me the manager’s contact which I contacted without success. I also sent messages to Haier Thermocool interactive customer care chat online giving them my name and my contact details (email and phone number) but received no response from them till date.
I summoned courage and decided to take the product to the electronic shop physically only to meet the manager who informed me that she has been trying to contact Haier Thermocool technical team in Aba but they’re on holiday and will resume on the 3rd week of January 2022 so I can drop the freezer with them. I took pictures and documentations of the product and also the warranty and receipt prior to leaving the shop. On the 3rd week of January 2022, I didn’t receive any call or response from either the sales manager or Haier Thermocool so I called the number on their website and someone responded that the Aba branch will handle the matter. The customer service personnel gave me the contact of the service technician which I recorded and called immediately.
He informed me that he was in Uyo on the 2nd week but didn’t go to that shop to check the defective product but will go there the next week. I waited for the following week and called him again and he informed me that he has seen the product and that a seal is not in place and that was what caused the leaks. He assured me he will get the seal sent to Uyo and as for the rust issues, it’s not their business and I have to keep using the product like that except I wish to take it to any local spray painter around to paint again.
I felt terribly insulted and cheated but decided to keep my cool. Till date 25th March, 2022, I have Not received any response from the technician although I spoke to the shop manager in Uyo she said no such replacement item has been sent to them and the technician has not visited their shop since January.
This delay has caused me loss of money and foodstuffs due to wastage and frequent cooking and warming of foods using my house gas cooker (gas is expensive).
I wish PZ Haier Thermocool to look into this issue and fix it because I am losing patience and also to inform them that their response to this will indicate if they still have a loyal customer or not.

A lot of folks on Nairaland family section aren’t concerned about the well-being of another man’s home and marriage because they came from broken homes or are professional home breakers and as such they’ll give advices that will be detrimental to the success of another man’s home.

OP said she's over his ways, meaning he has cheated before or has the tendency to cheat, flirt with other women, etc. If I wanted to be wicked I would tell her to step back and allow the lady to continue with whatever setup she's planning for him, but that's not me and that's obviously not a good idea because this is her husband we're talking about. There's no mention of harm in post nor did that cross my mind, so you're the one with the problem here, if that's what you got out of my reply.

That said, this is a good opportunity for her to teach him a lesson, which's why I suggested she gets close to the lady and plan something together. Something as simple as a public embarrassment isn't a bad idea (e.g. the next time he approaches her she tells him to leave her alone, go home to his wife and whatever else he needs to hear to have sense or at least make him think twice before stepping to another woman to cheat again).

Is it after he gets another woman pregnant or infects the wife with a disease that she should act? The lady's obviously not interested in him, hence the wife could make use of this opportunity to put him in check. He will simmer down after that. I've been chased by a married man before and some of them are stubborn as hell; it's not until you put your foot down that you're not interested in them that they leave you alone. In fact, if I were the lady in question, I would gladly work with the OP, lol.

If the OP were the cheat and the husband had opened the thread about her, you wouldn't be in here telling those responding to him to be Chrislike, nor telling him to be Chrislike, but would participate in calling her names and whatnot, but all of a sudden you're forming Christian in here. Yimu.
