A friend bought 2016 Camry just last month... He Don spend over 300k fixing stuff...

I have driven my Benz... For over a year now the car never get problem, not even changing sarpemtine belt the only thing I do is oil change which is once in 6 months.... Unlike when I was driving Japanese, it is either stabiliser linkage, legs, tyros, arms etc...


It all boils to maintainance culture... Even tesla get his problem

Except he bought a terribly damaged salvaged car or a lemon or his catalytic converters or some other stuffs were stolen from the car, it’s highly debatable.

It’s not bad to hype and give praise to something that appeals to us, this is what Mercedes’ Benz afficionados and owners are doing, but let’s not forget that in reality there exists better cars than a Mercedes Benz.

I don’t even own a toyota and I don’t fancy their very restrained design approaches but I must be very honest, they’re extremely good cars.

Fact, I’ve always washed my engines and engines of my customers cars. Till date, NO SINGLE issue has ever occurred.

1 YEAR USER EXPERIENCE/UPDATE
Barely a year later, I'm battling with rust issues with the Haier Thermocool Freezer.

I bought the freezer from a reputable sales outlet in Uyo on 29th December 2020, and on 21st December 2021, when I got to Uyo for holidays with my family, I noticed rust forming on the lower end of the cabinet. The freezer had always been suspended on blocks of woods to allow for ventilation and has ample amount of spaces all round to keep it well ventilated. The floor is tiled and always dry. The wood blocks are dried wood. I sent a complain to Haier thermocool, and dropped my email and phone number via their interactive web based robot, but no response from them till date, I called the sales company to complain but they kept giving me flimsy excuses and when I could no longer have it anymore, I took the freezer to them on 30th December 2021.

At the time of posting this, The sales manager still kept giving me silly excuses about how PZ Haier thermocool has not resumed or about how they've not come to see the product 1 month and 1 week after dropping it at their office. I had to personally contact Haier thermocool via phone calls to fast track the process of taking that product to do whatsoever they wish to do with it.

Does the freezer still work as should? YES!

Is the finishing a good quality? Absolutely No!
paint starting to peel off and rust start forming on a supposedly well treated metal surface barely a year after ownership is a sign of poor quality control!

Is their customer service good? NO!

Will you patronize their products again in the future? The outcome of how they handle this challenge will determine my future decision.

The P2138 and P2127 refers to throttle body and throttle pedal malfunction, the P0340 refers to Camshaft sensor malfunction.
At this point, I'd rather replace All Camshaft sensors and Crankshaft position sensor aka Starting sensor.


You need to carefully check these three codes and solve them to enable the car start.

Lexus ES uses genuine leather. While camry uses leatherette aka vinyl or fabric upholstery.

Take the Lexus, but make it a 2010 model. That camry seems to be made out of tin can with very questionable interior quality. The leather is fake, the interior panels and trims are made out of cheap plastics. I totally detest that camry.

I got this car directly from the US myself and I noticed the AC only works perfectly in the morning til noon. Anytime from noon, it will only pick for few seconds and stop and will pick again for few seconds and stop. The AC is practically useless from noon to evening. I was told it's the compressor but I want to be really sure before replacing the compressor.

Point to note, that engine isn't meant for a Venza. A Venza uses a different engine which displaces 2.7l, while the camry displaces 2.5l.


That said, have a competent technician check the car and hook it up to a vacuum pressure gauge to tell what's going on. I may be forced to believe your expansion valve is having an issue.
