When Nnamdi Kanu gets released, let him insist every agitator drops their guns and follow the peaceful path like Mandela, MLK and Gandhi. Then as a respected figure of the Igbos, let him begin an Igbo rennaissance. Let there be an orientation of the Igbo culture in the whole Igbo land. Let him chair his people to encourage industries in the SE. Instead of doing a sit-at-home as a civil disobedience, let the civil disobedience be that if any Igbo Billionaire does not invest in the SE, their business products or services will be ostracized by the whole Igbos. Let there be a Biafran trustfund that helps to build schools, provide education for the youths of the SE, and other resourceful programmes. Let all the failures of the Nigerian system be something that works in South East.
Believe me, once Nigeria has a major political or economic problem and the regions are unwilling to be controlled by the federal government, Biafra will secede very peacefully with enough home to accomodate those who want to return back home. Then the dream will come true. Hopefully, it can exist even peacefully with their neighbors. Untill then, Biafra will remain a mirage. The present violent agitation will just be an opportunity for the FG to devastate the SE.
For the record, I am Yoruba. I am 100% pro-Nigeria. I am simply stating my ideas from what I learnt from history.
