RAPIST:Igbos don't need the presidency. Ask those who have held it if it made them any better than Igbos |
Kastonkastroll:I listend to Radio Biafra last night. As for Kanu, he is only in prison because he left his comfort zone of London to look his enemies in the eye like the brave man and freedom fighter he truly is. Kanu now has a bigger following than he had before he went to Kuje. **** |
How can anyone call us Igbos cowards? Have people forgotten that we Igbos declared a separate homeland and fought a three year war against the Northern oligarchy? Who are the only people who are out on the streets protesting the injustice of Nigeria? It is IPOB and MASSOB made up largely of Igbos. When it comes to those who have demonstrated their ability to confront the Northerners, those of us the South East have given our fair share. |
Horllamideh:So you wanted Ojukwu to wait when Nigerian troops were a few Kilometres away so he can be captured or killed in other to prove his bravery? If The Ojukwu had done that, it would have been pure stupidity. What kind of person would allow themselves to killed if there is an escape route? |
Proud Igbo son. |
Radio Oduduwa? What are they broadcasting? Methods of licking the a$$ of the northerners? |
Chei!! It pains me Another Igbo son has been wasted up in the North fighting a war that has nothing to do with him or his people. All in the name of a non existent one Nigeria. RIP Bro, you died a warrior |
EmeritusMbaM:Why would we be rejecting our monthly allocation when we pay our taxes to the centre? So if I'm a shareholder, you will tell me to reject my dividend because I don't want the company? And if you don't like that I denigrate your area then support my leaving. If you can't support my leaving the tough luck. As long as there is 'one Nigeria' I will enjoy all the benefits that goes with until I leave. This has nothing to do with the last electoral process, it's all about sovereinghty |
CookieBrown:We already did all of this in 1967. It didn't stop you guys coming down to the east to start fighting to bring us back. I know Lord Lugard told you that we are all Nigerians, you guys should have asked us if this was is true. The Bottomline is this, if the SW is a region hasn't got the backbone to demand its sovereignty, then any claim you guys make to greatness is utter nonsense. |
joborskill:I'm surprised that most Nigerians are not ashamed of how their Daura cattle rearing President came on national tv to basterdise the constitution and the rule of law with those utterances. This president who openly endorsed dictatorship and his lack of respect for democracy is who will lead you all to the promised land? I laugh in Igbo. Buhari should have stayed in Daura, tending his cattle and chewing gworo instead of coming to the national stage to showcase his idiocy. As for Kanu, the man is going through his own process of incarceration which all great freedom fighters such as Nelson Mandela, Che Gavuerra, Martin Luther King and Xanana Gusmao who led his people of East Timor to seceed from Indonasia all went through. Freedom does not come cheap. I hail Kanu for his tenacity. Should he be killed, no doubt it will bring violence and bloodshed but it will strenghten the resolve of those who want be free of the British contraption called Nigeria that they are right to leave. Lord Lugard created Nigeria by force, but no country ever stays together by force. |
The Igbos of the lower Benue! The Umu-Ezeohka people. A question mark still hangs over Idoma and Igala. |
Ride on Kanu! We shall reach there! |
CookieBrown:You people, particularly those from the SW, have this laughable reasoning of "you people are trooping to our region, why not stay in your region if you don't want one Nigeria". This is flawed logic. There are millions of people pfrom the ECOWAS subregion such as Ghana, Niger, Togo etc in places like Lagos, Kaduna, Kano because Nigeria gives them more opportunities than their home countries. These people are not doing any 'one Nigeria' with anyone. In the same way, there are millions of Nigerians in America, Britain,Europe and Asia because it gives them more opportunities than their own country. Nobody is preaching 'one America' or 'one Britain' to them. The lesson to learn here is, I do not have to do 'one Nigeria' with you to come to your region or area. If your region is so important, then learn to stand alone and govern your self without accepting to be governed from the northern territory of Abuja |

CookieBrown:How can my IP address tell you were Im living? I could be visiting anywhere. My people troop everywhere there is money to be made, London, Newyork, Gabon, Cotonue and SW. There is nothing special about migrating somewhere. But with all our migration, we are still prepared to do what you guys can't do, we are prepared to stand alone. |
I think that in the case of Nigeria snd dissolution, we must not muzzle people together with 'imposed names'. When the British and Lord Lugard came to west Africa, they did not meet any region, they did not meet any SW,SS,SE. They did not meet any state. What they met was tribes and clans. Some tribes may have been scattered due to migration but they remained connected by linguistic and cultural similarities. The basis of of the unification of the various ethnic nationalities into Nigeria was tribe, and that should be the basis of its dissolution. SW,SS,SE,Niger Delta,Anioma and the 36 states are all terms created for administrative convenience. They are all 'imposed names' same as Nigeria. Some people may contest the tribe of another, but ultimately, the indigenous people of the land have the final say as to who they are, even if they are wrong. |
Everybody should forget that miscreant called Engineer Nwabueze Onwuneme. He was T Orji's 'Hatchet Man' and PDP stalwart for 8 years and benefited immensely. When Orji left power last year and Ikpeazu wouldn't rehire his services, he how formed this association of Buhari 'a$$ lickers' hoping for that Igbos would embrace the ruling APC party. Even though I'm Igbo, I do not want an Igbo man to be president. We Igbos need to aim higher than the office of president of Nigeria. As can be recalled, OBJ, Yaradua, GEJ and now Buhari all got there. All of them were complete disasters with Buhari fast turning out to be the biggest disaster of them all. An Igbo man does not need to join that club. An Igbo president will be fought all the way by most elements outside the SE/SS and everything he does, both good and bad, will be given ethnic coloration same as what happened to Ironsi (and GEJ). What the greater Igbo nation should do is to seek a conferdral arrangement with Nigeria where we wrest control of our region from Abuja with increased autonomy or we seek a peaceful exit out of the British invention called Nigeria. Anything short of these two alternatives is a waste of time. Anyone talking about Igbo presidency while we are practicing this decietful unitary system is someone who has forgotten history |
superstar1:As the say in Nigeria "I get an before no be property" The modern day Yoruba man cannot live without 'one Nigeria' and that renders whatever claim they have greatness null and void since greatness is all about being independent. |
superstar1:What's the point of all that when they can't do without 'one Nigeria'? |
coolitempa:So you think Kanu came to win an online popularity contest? |
kabman:Why not? Wasn't it Europeans that created Nigeria? The very word "Nigeria" was coined in Europe. I'm proud of Nnamdi Kanus Mother who is going to Brussels to lead this Mega protest . Let's not forget that Brussles is the Capital of Europe.May God keep giving her strenght as we continue our march towards freedom. |
Some people are crazy. Bianca, a former miss Nigeria, from a wealthy home, her father was a former Governor, she lacked for nothing. Yet, this deranged woman wants everyone to believe that Bianca was promiscuous? Why would one of the prettiest girls in Nigeria, from a very rich and influential home and an educated Lawyer need to sleeping around? People seeking cheap publicity, first it was FFK who has never met Bianca and then this woman. |
Even if there had been no violence from Northerners, it would have still been the God given right of any group(s) of people who make up Nigeria to leave the union. There was no violence in Britain but Scotland demanded to leave. Nigeria is the illegal and artficial creation of the White man and any group of people can choose to return to how they were before Lugard came to force everyone to become Nigerian. |
Teedoe25:I stopped reading when he said GEJ is Igbo. |
As a Christian, I pray for all the Soldiers fighting over there to return safely including the above Soldier. Any Soldier fighting the evil of terrorism should be commended ( of course not those shooting unarmed IPOB members). However, as an Igbo man, I want all the Soldiers to know that you are not fighting me as I have nothing to do with the North East, Sambisa or Boko Haram and if I had my way, I would have nothing to do with Nigeria either. |
DaBullIT:Have you left Facebook,Google,YouTube, Yahoo,Instagram, Twitter etc? Last time I checked, they were not Nigerian forums. |
If he was charged without petition, it means that someone at the top ordered EFCC to go after him. EFCC should not be used to settle political scores. |
mrvitalis:All of that is nonsense. Referendum is a right not a privilege. I remember that Buhari said something similar in his Aljazeera interview where he refused to watch the video recording of the Nigerian Army shooting unarmed people in Aba. Buhari said it because he knows going down that route is waste of time. The way to go about it is to keep the pressure up so that the Government can either agree to a UN superviced referendum or a Sovereign National Conference where everyone can come and decide if the want in or out. Looking for a political solution in a country like Nigeria that is far from being politically developed is a waste of time. |
FOLYKAZE:Yoruba people **** The trucks and Mosques that attacked only happend after your Soldiers turned into murderers by shooting unarmed people and the anger that followed this. Since there is nothing like peaceful protest, tell your people to change the constitution to remove freedom of movement and expression. Also tell your people to ammend the constitution to to make is legal to shoot unarmed civilians. And they wonder why some people refer to Nigeria as a zoo |
Ojukwufrank:Says a Yoruba man who has never fought anything in the history of Nigeria except fighting to be eternal slaves of Northern Nigeria |
FOLYKAZE:You people are really funny. The story you posted above involved violence by the people involved. What has that got to do with peaceful protesters who engaged in no violence? Or don't you understand basic English? So waving a flag is violence? Singing solidarity songs is violence? Coming out in mass and blocking a road is violence? How is being a public nuisance an act of violence worthy of shooting people? This uncivilised mentality of the black race is why we nowhere |
Aigbofa:Ojukwu started a war? How did he do this again? It was Ojukwu that came down to the east to start shooting people? Can any Yoruba man declare a nation and wage wage war against Nigeria for 3 years despite overwhelming odds? It is funny that Yorubas who don't even come close to the standard of bravery of Ojukwu are more concerned with why Ojukwu didn't stay back to have himself killed. I laugh in Igbo. |

We didn't make any noise about the action we will take against kanu but at the end of the day everything caught him as a surprise.
