HARDDON:You called China small landmass? If you don't know multiply Nigeria's landmass by six is not up to the landmass of China. Nigeria's landmass is just like a province in China. In other-words, China's landmass is over 7 times bigger than Nigeria's landmass. |
Fearlez:Igbo man with trickish and foolish mentality! In your stupidity you think you can instigate me against Itsekiris? You think Itsekiris are like you uncultured criminally-minded people whose major stock in trade is chest-beating? Who is Obi of Asaba? Is there any title like that you lousy native of erosion ravaged south-east? For your information, there are two Urhobo kingdoms in Warri with their kings gazetted and receiving monthly pays from the Delta State Government while you are ranting online. As I said before you know nothing about Warri as you are a refugee. So go back to your impoverished south-east and figure out how you can help your Igbo people who have been reduced to minority in Nigeria's politics. |
zionmade:It's not a matter of been carnally minded. Not every wrongdoing is specified in the Bible yet they are likely not right in the sight of GOD. For instance, taking cocaine, dressing half-naked, watching pornography, producing or selling fake drugs/ products knowingly. May GOD always show us mercy. |
Fearlez:He represents Warri in your dream, while Urhobos are the land owners and selling lands in Warri without opposition from your Olu. You said Urhobo kings are like kings yet your Olu can never dare summon them, neither can he dare trespass into their territories. Till tomorrow Urhobo continue to remain landlords of Warri and there is nothing your likes can do about it. I can see that you are an ignorant kid ranting online on what he knows nothing about. Continue to dwell in your fool's paradise! |
Fearlez:You talk like a kid! Igbe shrine? God forbid! Back to sender. The Olu has no single influence over any Urhobo in Warri. Urhobo don't go to his palace and he doesn't trespass into Urhobo lands in Warri. He cannot make or enforce any proclamation in Urhobo territories in Warri. May be you and your household are the subjects of Olu. |
Fearlez:I'm not surprised at your comments because I know you are IPOB Igbo! You don't know Warri well. That building you said near Okere Market is not a palace but the permanent secretariat of Okere-Urhobo Youth association. If you want to see the palace go to Ejemudarho. Did you said Urhobo are not recognized in Warri? For your information, the Honourable member representing Warri South Constituency 11 at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Dennis Omovie, is an Urhobo native of Warri. Also the Vice Chairman and several other Councillors of Warri South LGA are Urhobo people of Warri. |
Fearlez:You problem is ignorance! You know nothing about Warri. Who are the people of Okere? For your information, the palace of the Orosuen of Okre-Urhobo Kingdom is located right there in the heart of Okere. Even the permanent secretariat of Okere-Urhobo Youths was built closed to the Okere Market and you dare not park by its gates. People who live in Warri can confirm these to you: Every tribe knows her boundaries in Warri. The Olu's authority is restricted to only the Itsekiri parts of Warri and he never trespasses into Urhobo communities in Warri such as Edjeba, Ogunu, Agbassa, Okere-Urhobo, Okurode-Urhobo, Okumagba, Igbudu, Essi, Ukpokiti, etc. When the Itsekiris are doing their feasts, they do not carry their procession into Urhobo territories in Warri. The Itsekiris are matured and civilized people. They are not like you IPOBians trying to instigate division in Warri because we rejected Biafra! |
sean1000x:But you a layman can detect MOSSAD agent without stress and Nigeria's DSS/ SSS cannot! Clap for yourself for knowing more than Nigerian Security Intelligence Agencies. |
BiafranPrince:Chest beating! Why were you not able to produce the sophisticated weapons needed to defend your Biafra land in the 1960s but allowed Nigerian troops to thoroughly dealt with you? |
acenazt:Ignorance! In your mind every other African country apart from Nigeria is small. For your information, Cameroon [475,442 sq.km] is more than half the landmass of Nigeria [923,768 sq.km]. The way you consider other African countries as small so also some people in those countries regard Nigeria! |
BiafranPrince:Kids underrating the military strength and capability of Cameroon. If Biafra is created, it will not even be up to 1/4th the size of Cameroun. |
Rikidony:Take back Bakassi from Cameroun in a Week? How will you achieve that? By magic? You think Cameroun is a small country? In your mind you think Nigeria can defeat Cameroon in military combat in this present time. Wake up! |

In fact, [14] "Census of India 1961" identified 1,652 mother tongues or languages been used in India. [15] "Census of India 1991" identified 1,576 mother tongues with separate grammatical structures. [16] "Census India 2001" identified 1,721 languages in India. Out of which 122 are major languages belonging to the majority of people in India and other 1,599 belonging to smaller societies, local groups, tribes and interior areas. Also, according to the findings of "People's Linguistic Survey of India" launched in 2010 and conducted by 3500 volunteers including language experts, historians and staff of Bhasha Research and Publication Centre [Vadodara], there are 1,100 spoken languages in India as at 1961. They further discovered that nearly 220 languages have disappeared while 880 languages are still in use in India. And over the past 50 years India has lost about 250 languages. [https://www.readmeindia.com/how-many-languages-in-india/] The credible sources are so numerous that I have to pick out these few to bring to your attention. Obviously, in term of multiplicity or diversity of spoken languages, Nigeria is no match compared to India! |
9jakool:Wait! Are those your claimed sources books or what? If they are written books, what is the name of the writer or writers? Who are the publishers? And what date was it published? Concerning who is a negro, I have since corrected my assertion in my earlier reply to someone here. A negro is simply a general term for all blacks. In other-words, all blacks are negroes. Mistake corrected. |
9jakool:Where is the credible source you claimed you gave? Don't be trickish! I can't find any source in your write up. |
9jakool:I'm not twisting facts. The records are there in the internet and you can help yourself out with it. Go to google and type: how many tribes are in India or how many indigenous languages are in India. It will bring out the information. |
TayserMahiri:Well all blacks are called to as Negroes but then early European explorers used the name was used NEGROLAND in old maps to refer WEST AFRICA. You are right! All blacks are NEGROES, but not all are BANTU! |
Nowenuse:As I have said earlier, the name BANTU does not implies tribal classification, rather BANTU is a sub-division of the BLACK RACE used to call black people of Central, Eastern and Southern Africa. Likewise the name NEGRO is a sub-division of the BLACK RACE used to address people of West Africa. Just as all Kenyans are BANTUS so also all tribes in Nigeria [with exception of the Fulanis and Shuwa-Arabs] are NEGROES. |
Nowenuse:Don't even go there! Nigeria is not a mate to India when it comes to religions. India is the mother of diverse religions. Several major religions practiced in different parts of the world today originated from India, namely; Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism. Besides, Islam, Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Judaism and Baha'i Faith are widely practiced in India. Indians don't worship the same entities, and the feud between Hinduism and Islam within India is still there! Ghana is not an Akan country. The people of Northern half of Ghana are not Akans. Akan influence is concentrated in the Southern part [Ashanti, Fante, Axim]. Even at that, Akan is not one ethnic group. Rather, Akan is a conglomerate of closely-related tribes which include the Ashanti, Fante, etc. There are other major tribes in Ghana such as the G-Adangbe [who own the Capital City Accra], the Moshi, Manprussi [both found in the North] and the Ewe [found in the Eastern part [Ho, Volta]. What you should have said is that the Akans are the majority in Ghana. Moreover, Islam is major religion in Northern Ghana. In the case of Kenya, Bantu is neither a tribe nor a language. Rather, Bantu is a sub-division of the Black race just as Negro is a sub-division of the Black race. You should know that virtually all the black people in West Africa [apart from the Fulanis and the Tuaregs] are grouped as Negroes, likewise virtually all the black people in East, Central and Southern Africa are known as Bantu. In otherwords, Igbo, Yoruba, Bini, Urhobo, Nupe, Akan, Mossi, Mende, Mandingoes are all Negro tribes, while Kikuyu, Kamba, Acholi, Alur, Kikongo, Lingala, etc are Bantu tribes. Put differently, there are two major sub-divisions of the black race, namely [1] Negro and [2] Bantu. Negroes are mainly found in West Africa while Bantu are found mainly in Central, Eastern and Southern Africa. |
vivalavida:Do proper research man! India [with over 600 tribes and languages] is more diverse than Nigeria yet they are still a united country. Even Kenya that you mentioned have more than 62 tribes speaking different languages. Furthermore, there are over 100 tribes/ ethnic groups in Ghana but they still love themselves. You confirm these facts from the internet. Ethnic diversity is not the real cause of disunity in Nigeria! |
facelessangel:The treasurer [Sen. Omo-Agege] is not Afonja but Urhobo. |
ojobekehinde:Effurun, not efuru. |
Mbediogu:First go help your Igbo tribe that have been reduced to minority status in the Nigerian political cycle and also redeem your battered image! The Urhobo nation is doing fine. We are not complaining as you do. We are blessed. |
Mbediogu:Take our oil? Join the north to do that? Why not do it alone? Oh I understand, you Igbos already strategizing to pledge final allegiance to remain perpetual slaves of Northerners. Congrats! Igbo is a pitiable tribe with no relevant in modern Nigeria. No one respect them again in Nigeria. What a shame! A supposed majority tribe has been reduced to non-entity.Mr man, you should be very worried about the present status of your slavery tribe. For your information, Urhobo nation is doing fine in Nigeria. It's your Igbo people that are always crying like babies. Tell your leaders to organise serious deliverance programmes to free your tribe from shackles of political slavery in Nigeria. |
Mbediogu:You should be ashamed of your slave Igbo tribe first for loosing political relevance in Nigeria! A whole 3rd largest ethnic group in Nigeria has been reduced to minority status and they have no idea of how to rescue themselves from such pitiable situation. What a shame! Igbo is such a disorganized tribe. They have been agitating for Biafra and we Nger Deltans told them go to your Biafra alone they said no! Can't you Igbos stand on your own? Must you attach yourselves to us? Is it not even a shame on you to be attaching yourselves to minorities as if you are babies? The other day, Arewa youths told you vacate the North to your Igboland and start your Biafra country but you Igbos were afraid and started visiting Northern leaders to beg. Without shame, you were insisting Northerners should organise referendum for you first! How? Are they your fathers? Are Northerners your lords and masters that you have to get their approval before leaving? What a slave mentality! Are you both [Ndigbo and Arewa] not suppose to be equal stakeholders in the Nigerian Project? Are you not ashamed waiting for your fellow citizens [Arewa] whom you often tagged illiterates to give you approval before establishing your own country? Cowards! The only thing you know is to chest-beat making noise up and down shouting Biafra without action! You think freedom is given on platter of gold, you day-dreamers? |
Uchihaitaci:You have no meaningful response to the facts I gave! Be ranting online why the Urhobo nation is accommodating , sustaining and feeding your people! Ozuor! |
Mbediogu:Have you ever asked how the name "Igbo" came about, the meaning of that name and who gave it to you people? If you don't know and for your information, Igbo means "slave" and "slavery". That was the general name the Edo Empire gave to your people across the Niger River. Igbo people served as "slaves" to the Benin Kingdom and it was their descendants who intermarried and settled among the aboriginal inhabitants of Agbor, Idumuju and other parts west of the Niger that formed today's Anioma. That is why a freeborn of Ika and Ukwuani don't want to be called "Igbo" because the word "Igbo" in their Edoid influenced languages equally connotes "slavery" or "life of servitude"! If you don't know this, it was the Edo people who told the early Portuguese Explorers during their frequent visits to Benin Kingdom between "Fourteen-Fifteen Centuries" that the people who live across the River Niger [Igboland] are their "Igbo" [that is to say their slaves] and it was recorded by the whites. To repair your reputation as a people, you need to review that name "Igbo" given to you by outsiders. Who knows if that name "Igbo" is the reason why your people despite being one of the 3 major tribes in Nigeria yet command no strong political control/ influence over the nation's affairs as do the Hausas and Yorubas! |
Uchihaitaci:You Igbo people sometimes are foolishly funny! A bunch of hypocrites and shameless liars! You said you and most Igbo don't like Urhobo yet your Igbo people are all over the nooks and crannies of Urhoboland in search of greener pasture. You hate Urhobo people yet continually migrate en-mass to Urhoboland to seek refuge and means of survival. If you don't like Urhobo why are your people still scrambling to stay even in the remotest village in Urhoboland? Funny enough, many of your Igbo people who have settled in Urhoboland are reluctant to return to Igboland even at old age. If Urhobo people are not good why do your people still coming like refugees to our land to settle. On the otherhand, you hardly find Urhobo people sojourning in Igboland except on government assignment. That is to prove to you how barren, unproductive and unattractive is your Igboland. |
Excellence12:We can't be of like minds with your morally degraded Igbo tribe which sees nothing wrong with engaging in crime activities but rather call it hustling. Of course, we won't accommodate your tribe known throughout the globe as drug-pushers, fraudsters, kidnappers and as prostitutes. Don't you know you Igbo people have so much dented Nigeria's image abroad? |
fratermathy:We know IPOB has no good intention for Niger Delta minorities. Urhobo-Isoko have on several occasions made it unanimously clear to them not to trespass into our territories. We are not interested in Biafra. Period! |
freshest4live:Okay |
freshest4live:5-8 new separate countries? From this small Nigeria? Have you ever consider the size of Nigeria's landmass? for your information, Nigeria is roughly a small country by landmass [923,768 sq.km]. We just have a large population but by landmass, Nigeria is a relatively small nation. By African standard, Nigeria is not even among the 10 largest countries in the continent. Countries such as Algeria, Congo DR, Sudan, Niger, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Libya, Angola, South Africa and Ethiopia are bigger than Nigeria by landmass. You can google this to confirm. In term of landmass, Congo DR [2,344,858 sq.km] is bigger than Nigeria [923,768 sq.km] times two. Also, Nigeria's landmass [923,768 sq.km] is not up to half the landmass size of Algeria [2,381,741 sq.km]. USA has 50 states with other additional territories and only Alaska State [1.718 million sq.km] is bigger than Nigeria [Alaska is one of the 50 states in USA]. Nigeria needs even more land to build a stronger country. If Nigeria splits today, the component parts which may emerge as distinct countries may end up not have strong voices in the African continent! |
