No to abortion. They should give birth to the baby.
Not a crime to give birth every other year. With only one kid in the kitty, this new birth will not be too much burden.
The guy should encourage himself. |

You were doing well until you admitted to having slept with your wife's bestie.
You said your wife was trying to set you up, but it appears she already did. And how I wish you didn't fall into the infidelity trap.
My advice: come clean to your wife; let her know you did it. After all, the signs were there all along. You warned her but she didn't listen.
If the claim that she and her friend are very close is true, then I would like to think that your wife already knows what you did. She is just having a good time watching you to see if you would own up.
Save yourself from future pain. Confess to her now and see what unfolds.
P.S.: Easiest way out: give your life to Jesus and confess your sins to Him. Then tell your wife you are now a new person in Christ, that old things have passed away. And watch God fight the battles for you. |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Right Prayer For Repentance From Sin by KLand(m): 9:40am On Jan 05, 2020 |
5thAngel: I have a friend, who from her lifestyle, I know is born again. She was initially like me, religious but not saved from sin. Then she gave her life to Chris and since then, it seems she made new enemies. Our course mates don't like her because she is the odd one and mocks her anytime she preaches in class.
I, however, have been challenged by the new life she has. I've watched her grow spiritually and i want that Christ-like life for myself also. Hence, i summoned courage to ask her how she remained in the faith as I have been besotted with rising and falling. Then she told me something.
If you really want to be saved and remain save you have to pray, not because of the fear of hell but pray because you desire a change in your life. You foremost have to crave a righteous life and pray, with faith, for forgiveness with this intention. I got the message alright but I did not act on it.
My prayer for repentance have always been centered on the fear of hell, which i am 100 per center sure exist.
But God in his infinite mercy showed me a dream reiterating everything grace said. He showed me how to pray this prayer, which i found myself in this dream praying. I noticed that after the prayer, I felt the joy, peace and calmness i have always craved for and heard other people testify of. She should not be discouraged. Jesus warned us that people will hate us because we are His disciples. I pray for her that she will stand stronger in the Lord. Amen. |
Education › Re: My Success Story In FUTA With 4.68 From 3.80! - Babatunde Babajide by KLand(m): 3:33pm On Dec 25, 2019 |
babson9jata: *MY SUCCESS STORY IN FUTA.* *With 4.68 from 3.80!--*
The 20th day of December, 2019 was a very special day for me as I was awarded a First Class Honors, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting, Federal University of Technology Akure.
To the glory of God, I entered FUTA on 3rd of December 2015 as an undergraduate. I had a four man squad and we all strived to be successful. In a nutshell, first semester result 100 level result was out and it happened that I had the lowest GPA of 3.80 in the squad. I was so disheartened that I had the lowest GPA and I was a bit happy that I didn't scored too low despite my political office as NUASA pioneer General Secretary (with Aluta-P led executive) and my position as the National President, Jnr/Int RAN. I informed a brother, Bosun Egberinde of the situation at hand and he encouraged and motivated me to keep moving and aim high.
Second semester 100 level result was released, I had 4.44 (was so annoyed because I had a C in CSC102, a three unit course which hindered my chance of making a first class that semester). I will never forget, a friend out of the 4 man squad who made a statement that struck a cord in me, he actually had a 'B' in a 4 unit course and he was like, "if ordinary BBM could have an 'A' BIO 102, then he should definitely have more than that" (with the impression that he is far better than me). This drove me high and mad . 200 level first semester, I started reading for an average of *8 hours in a day and once read for 16 hours on a stretch.* Guess what, I had a 5.00 that semester.
We were two that actually had the 5.00 then and that was the first of its kind in Accounting and the faculty, SMAT (except IT report) according to history. I was so amazed because in 4 of 9 of the courses, I had 70 -72 (A). (Isn't God faithful? ). The news went viral throughout the faculty and we became the talk of the devil for a while.
Not to bore you with this long story, Second semester 200 level, I had 4.67. I actually spent my lecture free week at a National camp ☹. God is good!
First Semester 300 level, I had 4.63; was scared of dropping because I started my professional exam ICAN-ATS in that semester and officially launched my enterprise, BBM WORLD (Graphics Design).
Second semester 300 level, only had 11 days to prepare for school exam due to my second stage of my professional exam, but guess what, I made a 5.00 as well . First Semester 400 level, again, I made a 5.00. It was a back to back, hit to hit . Should I burst your burble? I wasn't in school in the first week of exam, I was in Lagos for my ICAN-ATS induction, also represented the university in an inter-university competition (Annual Conference for Accountant at JABU) yet, God did it. And in the last semester, 400 level second semester, I had 4.88 (a 3 unit course actually hindered me from having a 5.00 for the fourth time. I had a 'B' ☹.
However, I bless God because only 6 out of about 95 students had an 'A' in a 6 unit project and I was honoured to be among them. Also represented FUTA at an inter-university summit or competition at OAU in October which lead to a competition/teasing between OAU and FUTA (#OAUvsFUTA on tweeter). I and my team made them know that FUTA is the best!.
Today, I graduated as the 5th best graduating student in the department of Accounting with a CGPA of 4.68 from 3.80 of 5.00 scale. _I am a true product of Grace._
*Charge:* In whatever thing you do, strive to be the best. Yes, the best!

HardMirror: Morning everyone. Now I really really laugh at some silly chaps here trying to corner me and tell me I don't really know christ. Someone asking me how I got the holy spirit with the manifestation of speaking in tongues. Lol! I made the first set of Baba Ogundare's Trainees. If only you know who Rev. Ogundare is. Or if only you know who Rev. Olusola Areogun is, you folks won't be spewing thrash here. Before I even met them I was already well seeped in the gospel. I don't just read the bible, I have books I have written based on the revelation of the holy spirit to me as I read the bible. At home I was regarded as a prophet. I prayed at least 6hrs none stop everyday. My mum felt I was called for a special assignment so she encouraged me after many attempts to stop me. She used to be scared I would die of fasting. And yeah people die of fasting. Had a brother in CAC campus fellowship FUTA that died around 2010 from complications that were a result of fasting.
You christians here have no idea the kind of life I lved for christ.
I lived so well for god that when I became an atheist, I became the type that if you visit me to preach to me, you will leave almost throwing your bible away.
Nairaland is not enough to tell it all. I am the kind of guy that if I had continued as a christian would have ended up a legend.
So dear christians hold your horses. Now shall I continue?
Continued here: https://www.nairaland.com/3078223/pastor-atheist-why-never-christian/4#45202884 It sounds like a good story gone bad. I bet your mum would not be proud of what you have now become. Please focus on telling your true story as you promised. Your side comments on Christians snacks of unwarranted prejudices. I am following the story...till end. Hopefully, I will be able to see where you fell from grace to grass. Yes, the might do fall. You are neither the first nor the last. No offence intended please. |
