galaxi: The car actually steams very well now and runs perfectly even though I have stopped driving apart from oil mixing with water and hard starting it does, you won't know that the top gasket is burnt |
Car Talk / Re: Dangers Of Changing Top Gasket In 2gr Engine by klenton(m): 4:13pm On Jan 16 |
fineboynl: Thanks for this info bro, I got one technician who said the same thing, he said that the iron gasket is very tiny and the oyibos that built the car has a machine for compressing the iron gasket which is not obtainable here as they use hand to tight the gasket here which is suitable for fiber gasket. I was initially skeptical but you just confirmed what he said therefore I will be going for the fiber gasket |
Car Talk / Re: Dangers Of Changing Top Gasket In 2gr Engine by klenton(m): 6:21pm On Jan 15 |
nurey: Makes sense, I think I will take time to look for the exact gasket, another thing I want to know is if the top MUST be grinded when changing the gasket |
Car Talk / Re: Dangers Of Changing Top Gasket In 2gr Engine by klenton(m): 2:57pm On Jan 15 |
fineboynl: Thanks a lot and God bless you plenty for your responses..hopefully the top cylinder won't rapture as the car sti runs very well even with the burnt gasket and the steaming is still noiseless even as of now |

nurey: Thanks a lot for this input as am really worried, a car I bought less than 2months ago and now I have to change gasket I think the follow come gasket is iron, are you suggesting the mechanic should get another iron gasket to replace the burnt gasket or should he use fiber gasket, which is what is mostly obtainable in the market |
Car Talk / Dangers Of Changing Top Gasket In 2gr Engine by klenton(m): 10:00am On Jan 15 |
I have a Lexus Es 350, the car recently overheated and I noticed some milky substance mixed with the engine oil, which suggest that my top gasket could have burnt and I now intend to change it. but my worry is whether the car will remian the same after changing the top gasket, the car was just bought last year November. secondly I want to know the kind of gasket I should use to replace the burnt one, should I get the same iron gasket which the car comes with or I should use the fiber gasket as replacement (the fiber gasket is what my mechanic actually recommends we use) |

Way4orward: You give am money to keep for you? How can you be a bussiness man and have an entitlement mentality? A customer does not owe you anything, he is not under an obligation to patronize or get back to you, it is you who needs his money and the least you could do is to strategize on eggevti6 ways to get him to patronize you and none of them includes been rude. BTW, you dont know a customers present condition, he could have used the money for an emergency and possibly will still patronize you in future or even reffer someone to you. Bur all in all its still better if you remain acquaintances with your customer than making him an enemy through your rudeness and insults 7 Likes 3 Shares |

scotttorres: I presently own an ml350 4matic and I can tell you it's one of the best cars I have owned or driven it's so reliable, efficient and surprising with a low fuel consumption atleast for a car of it's magnitude,. and do you that the ML350 is built not to have Engine failure or to "knock" as the car will enter what is know as ghost mode (the car will stop and refuse to start just to save the Engine and other components like transmission) instead of knocking I was not surprised when the OP said it's in the top 10 reliability rating according to JP , nevertheless just like every car it has its own cons. but Generally is a very efficient vehicle and by the way I just got a Lexus es350 but I can already tell that the ML is way stronger, reliable and powerful even though they are both v6 engines. 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: Enugu Governorship Election Tribunal Orders Mbah To Appear Before It On Friday. by klenton(m): 7:58pm On Jun 25, 2023 |
fergie001: I don't want to divulge anything about me, let's just focus on the issue at hand but believe when I tell you that ma grounded in Election petitions Yes the matter will get to supreme court and all this your positions could be trashed as "LAW IS AN AXE" no position is certain maybe apart from constitutional provisions which are still open to interpretations. I think this argument is over as you have accepted that there is NO LEGAL PUNISHMENT FOR MBAH OR ANY SITTING GOVERNOR IF HE FAILS TO HONOUR A SUBPOENA. The Deputy governor of Bayelsa chose to exercise his discretion to appear, just like El Rufia once waived his immunity to testify in a defematory case in the high court. Yes am nothing saying he will survive it or not, that's not the argument here, as the supreme court might still remove him, what am saying is that not honouring the subpoena has no legal punishment for him as a sitting governor You mentioned that election petition is SUI GENERIS, I agree but that doesnt mean that election petitions can arrogate powers to themselves outside the constitution, that's why election petitions must end withing 180 days for instance even if it is not convenient for the tribunals So election petitions does not have absolute powers, there subpoenas are still like that of a regular court nothing special |
Politics / Re: Enugu Governorship Election Tribunal Orders Mbah To Appear Before It On Friday. by klenton(m): 7:40am On Jun 25, 2023 |
fergie001: You are the one going back and forth I like the fact that you said "NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO MBAH IF HE FAILS TO HONOUR THE SUBPOENA" so what's the crux of your argument? Even if Judgement is entered against him, Mbah will still be in office as governor because the matter will definitely reach the supreme court, which means that whatever the tribunal is doing now is not final and could still be upturned. You keep mentioning a deputy governor without the name or his state, so I can't join issues with you on that, but I am presuming you are talking about the deputy governor elect of Bayelsa under David Lyon who was never sworn it and therefore was under compulsion to come (except you are talking about a different one, then you provide the facts) therefore the 2 cases are different. Am not saying Mbah will survive the case or not, am only saying that nothing will happen to Mbah if he fails to honour the subpoena and you have just concurred to that |
Politics / Re: Enugu Governorship Election Tribunal Orders Mbah To Appear Before It On Friday. by klenton(m): 10:31am On Jun 24, 2023 |
fergie001: There is no punishment in law called "HOT WATERS" tell me his punishment in law for not honouring a subpoena since you said his inmunity doesn't cover that side Ordinarily the court would have issued warrant of arrest or summarily committal for contempt of court but ib this scenario its not possible because he has immunity Moreover don't forget that the action's of the tribunal could still be upturned at the Appeal court |
Politics / Re: Enugu Governorship Election Tribunal Orders Mbah To Appear Before It On Friday. by klenton(m): 1:34pm On Jun 23, 2023 |
fergie001: I agree with you on the above my brother, but what you are arguing is distinct from the issue at hand Your submission above has to deal with the issue of immunity of a governor in an Election petition and to that extent I agree with you But my submission is to the issue of the subpoena or compulsion of a sitting governor by the election tribunal to appear before it, and my submission is that it carries no force of law and totally at the discretion of the governor as there are no legal conditions or punishment if he fails to appear or honour the subpoena One question I need to ask you is "what's the legal implications if Gov Mbah fails to honour the subpoena? 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Enugu Governorship Election Tribunal Orders Mbah To Appear Before It On Friday. by klenton(m): 12:49pm On Jun 23, 2023 |
fergie001: This position is wrong, the constitution of Nigeria which is the ground norm confers immunity on the governor for all intents and purposes. What you should ask yourself is what will happen if Mbah refuses to appear? Ofcourse nothing as the court cannot order his arrest So the order of the court is null and void and of no effect whatsoever, it is strictly at Mbahs discretion to appear or not 1 Like |
