Ayim Pius Ayim can never be taken serious, a template for would be President has been established albeit informally and that template and pre-requisite is you would have to be an ex Governor to be taken serious for any Presidential bid.

trying to sell Mark's candidature is like trying to sell snow to the Eskimos. That guy is the most unsellable politician I have ever come across. huh

This girl you are an opportunistic  illusionist, the PDP Ticket belongs to the Muslim North from the NE, NW OR NC. Sambo, Aliyu Babangida, Kwankaso, and the Jigawa guy would probably nick it. NO WAY WOULD 'MARK' NOR A 'SOUTH-EASTERNER' GET IT, THAT I GET MY LIFE ON.  cool
Politics › Re: No Leave For Mr. President In Africa And Nigeria In Particular, Why Now? by KnowAll(op): 5:12pm On Aug 12, 2011
American Presidents have always had their vacation in the US. Reason being Annual Leave in America are not as generous as It is in Europe hence why d American President cannot up stick and go on holiday in far flung places of d world.

Americans generally have 2 weeks annual leave yearly a far cry from what obtains in most European countries where people get between 5 and 6 weeks annually. With this scenerio establish it would be foolhardy for an American President to embark on an all expenses paid luxurious holiday outside d US wen he/she has an election to fight next year.

This is one of the reasons I would never take paid job in Nigeria. Imagine a Special Adviser slapping a PS. No strong institutions are our biggest problem. If it were England irrespective of who is guilty, the one that hit another would go down definitely.

I think the Igbos have sense and can see an opportunity brewing up here. This is one opportunity the Igbos must not let go. (Another article written yesterday after Mr KnowAll saw the opportunism and made it public.) It is up to the various actors to make it happen(Tinubu, Ngige, and a strong Middlebelter), although we still have a long way b4 2015, nevertherless this is one ACE the Igbos must hold closely to their chest.

Can a revolution be bloodless or can bloodless revolution solve Nigeria's woes?
If Buhari had won the election that would have been a bloodless revolution but Nigerians including my humble self had sympathy for clueless JEG.

Politics › No Leave For Mr. President In Africa And Nigeria In Particular, Why Now? by KnowAll(op): 10:01am On Aug 12, 2011
The British Prime Minister had to run home from Italy where he was spending quality time with his family on holiday because of the recent riots in London. It only just occurred to me, that there was never a time that ‘Baba Iyabo’- OBJ went on leave, anyway that is understandable not with Atiku making threats ready to pounce at any given opportunity.

How come African head of state don’t go on leave, the only leave they take is what I call ‘permanent leave’ that is when they are unfortunately macabrely carried out in a box for an unscheduled onward journey six feet under.

I hope JEG would move away and buck the trend from this kind of arrangement(like a fresh air that he is) and be more open taking his annual leave yearly with the whole nation aware Mr President is not around for now.  huh cool
Politics › Re: Would Chris Ngige Be A Masterstroke??? by KnowAll(op): 9:22am On Aug 12, 2011
President Jonathan should go for eighth years (if he perform well).

Then vice president Sambo should also go for eight years (if he perform well).

That is sixteen years.
The bottom-line Joboy would like to go 8 years, all these 6 year one single term is just a ruse. The man should just come out tell the world wetin dey pinch am. All this parambulating no make sense.

@seafargo

I have made less inciteful, sexist statment in my time here and the moderators came like a ton of brick warning me of a ban, I think your foul statement should not be encorage in our forum. Such statement mirrors the rut in our society hence the degredation we have in Nigeria today. Ghanians are hitting above their weight and rightfully so,  I enconrage them to continue that quantum leap into el-dorado, since "big boko haramic brother and islamic banking crazed nation called Nigeria" does not know her left from her right.

I remember you as a proud GEJ supporter too, singing fresh air! fresh air! during the April election.

When did you change your mind and why? April was just 4 months ago

Una never serious at all.
I never ever supported JEG, I only withdrew my support from Buhari because of the agony Lagosians are going through today, cancelling that Lagos Metroline project BY bUHARI 'S REGIME IS not on. Obviously by withdrawing my support from Buhari who was giving JEG a run for his money during the election would tip the balance in favour of GEJ.

I must emphasis that I made my displeasure loud and public and that in itself can alone sway a lot of SWesterner to vote JEG together with Tinubu's insistence that folks in the SW should vote GEJ or ABSTAIN.
Politics › Re: Would Chris Ngige Be A Masterstroke??? by KnowAll(op): 5:56pm On Aug 11, 2011
The problem with your calculation is that u forgot CPC in the North West and North East feilding their own Muslim candidate. In the North Yoruba muslims are not really taken seriously. PDP and Mark/Okonjo is the winner 2015.
CPC is dead nobody would vote El-Rufai and I don't think anyone would vote Bakare, Buhari is the real deal in that party, No Buhari No CPC. I agree with u if Mark gets the Presidency ticket in PDP with Okonja he would nip it but I doubt if he would get the PDP ticket THUS.

SCRAP LG AND ACCOMMODATE ALL NEW STATE CREATION If the state would be viable. By the time we have about 60 states, the states would individually devise their own local government system. For instance the Lagos State model is not bad that is having Local development centres with a chairman over-seeing things.

Politics › Re: Would Chris Ngige Be A Masterstroke??? by KnowAll(op): 5:04pm On Aug 11, 2011
2015 is a race for Fashola ACN, ROCHAS APGA and MARK PDP/ WITH OKONJO AS VP or VICE VERSA.
Fashola in ACN would limited to the SW, Rochas in APGA would probably have only one state and that is Imo state just like HOW RIbadu won in Oshun State. Mark PDP would definitely rig THE ELECTION and win especially if they have Okonjo as VP, but then SAMBO wants the Presidency Badly, so does all the Governors in the NE and NW, it would be hard and difficult for a Christian Northerner to emerge for the PDP.

The only way Fashola would win is disgruntled elements in the NE and NW throwing their hat behind Fashola for being a Muslim, I don't see them ever supporting Mark and I don't see them supporting Rochas either.
Politics › Re: Would Chris Ngige Be A Masterstroke??? by KnowAll(op): 3:36pm On Aug 11, 2011
Your analysis is apt. An ACN Ngige/Fashola ticket in 2015 would be a bad combination
I did not say a Ngige/Fashola is  a good combination, I said it is desirable, in any other sane democracy that would be the obvious choice but we are talking Naija here. You need to go and re-read my post again, I said an Ngige/NC or Middlebelter would be a winner anyday and anytime,  because Ngige is already an inherent and staunch ACN man, the SW would vote for him if that is what Tinubu wants.

I cannot not see the PDP presenting a SEasterner, they are ALREADY hell bent on fielding a NWestern even North Central is not good enough for those MOFOS. That would be their greatest undoing. Meanwhile in the absence of PDP presenting a SEASTERN,  Rochas should just continue doing what he knows best for Imo State, he has 2 terms to turn Imo State into El-dorado, I think the Imo people would relish that than losing him to the uncertainty of PDP politricks.

Mr Jonathan is only marking time. Mr Jonathan Goodluck, “ present sir”, nothing good would come out of this lot, any sensible person should just go to sleep and wake up at June 2015.

Knowall you know this one o
na true now,

The problem with a lot of Naijas when they here £1000.00 pounds there ears stand as if na free money, they quickly multiply it by 260 and expect their relatives in London to be millionaires in no time but they forgot to pry, albeit curiously into their relatives life style in London, where does he/she lives, how much does she/he pays for rent, does he or she pay council tax, what of travelling back and forth to work, does he or she have a car, obviously he/she would have to pay Car Tax, Insurance and buy one of the most expensive petrol in the world. On top of all that man must wack, wetin go remain now. huh
Politics › Re: Would Chris Ngige Be A Masterstroke??? by KnowAll(op): 9:23am On Aug 11, 2011
Even though Ngige/Fashola or Fashola/Ngige would have been desirable, It would be discriminatory to the North and it would mean the South are spoiling for a fight with the North and that includes Middlebelters.

The last thing the South wants is to unruffled those loyal Middlebelters. But with Ngige / and a Middlebelter running, that combination would achieve Orkar’s plan in the ballot box.

Fashola / a Middlebelter might exclude Igbo votes and those votes need to be on board that is why Ngige seems the perfect antidote having already been a staunch ACN member to win or force a win for the ACN come 2015.
Politics › Re: Would Chris Ngige Be A Masterstroke??? by KnowAll(op): 9:05am On Aug 11, 2011
Tinubu would never go for Southern President and VP, by doing that you are effectively excluding the MiddleBelt from the equation. My haunch would be a Middlebelter would be the VP, that would broke the core North’s back-bone.
Politics › Re: Ex Judge Advocates For Christian Courts In Nigeria: Like Sharia Courts by KnowAll(m): 8:47am On Aug 11, 2011
the civil law as we know it, is an off-shoot of christain religious doctrine which got infused and indoctrinated into civil society. There is no point in re-inventing the wheel when we already have capable laws as it is. cool
Politics › Would Chris Ngige Be A Masterstroke??? by KnowAll(op): 8:33am On Aug 11, 2011
Could this be ACN's secret weapon come 2015, Tinubu recognising the anguish the Igbo nation has been through,  having been 'EXCLUDED' and 'SIDELINED' from politics at the very top of any Political discuss that is "the head of state or Presidency"  since the ceremonial stint of Zik and the lack of lustre, ineptitude and short-lived reign of Agui Ironsi. If ACN comes out with this master-stroke which would certainly unite votes in the SW/SE/Middle belts that could spell doom for the far North in the foreseeable future and PDP as a whole. shocked

The pertinent question would be who would be Ngige's VP if this speculation were to be a reality? huh Why I ask this question is,  Ngige could have joined APGA or any other party and still won the senatorial contest why did he choose ACN. I maybe speculating and silavating but my instinct tells me something is in the offering come 2015.  undecided huh lipsrsealed

How do you explain a teaching who earns 1,00pounds (N270,000) monthly stealing?
£1000.00 pounds in England is like N18,000.00 in Nigeria. If you have to pay for a 2 bedroom flat in England at £850.00 a month how much would remain of the £1,000.00 not forgeting you would also have to eat, pay council tax at an average of £100.00 a month, and travel to work(either by public transport or privately). Although the Goverment here helps people on low income with some kind of subsidy towards rent payment but still, if you are in the lower rung of society in the UK you are doomed.
Politics › Re: Beninoise President Urges Jonathan To Include Country As 37th State Of Nig. by KnowAll(m): 3:03pm On Aug 10, 2011
They should drop French and make English their official Language like Rwanda. When you want to merge with another country economically and to some extent politically all hurdles must be removed.

Because of that silly language barrier, most Nigerians abandons Benin, and Togo for their onward journey and sojourn in Ghana. Nigerians have enough graduates that are unemployed who can be deployed to Benin to teach them English, it would be more beneficial to Benin if they can drop French fast. The French themselves these days have a network TV station broadcasting in English 24 hours of the day.

The only reasons why actress marry married men is because they are still acting, when they are really ready to settle down they would marry the right Guy.
