a country without dreamers would perish, a nation without dreamers would perish, a city without dreamers would perish so would a family without dreamers perishing. Once d dreamer has left d stage, Tinapa  was bound to crumble like a pack of cards. The  cream of this project has been succoured by d dreamer and any other interloper associating himself / herself with this project would have to live and contend himself/herself with d crumbs left, I don't think they have born that Governor yet who would be contented with d crumbs of his predecessor, hence why so many Governors are screaming blue-murder over d minimum wage because implementing that wage structure would eat deep into their projected largesse.

Tinapa a wonderful idea by an illusionist & day dreamer in d name of Duke. The silly Governor was in too much hurry to hide his   Contoversial over inflated contract figures and loot from this 'phantom project' that he relinquished his post in a hurry forgetting to put  and empower a capable hand in place in CRS  who would push this ambitious project to d next level.

What we now have is a man who believes Nigeria would not have electricity in d next 50 years at d helms of affairs in d state, obviously with kind  of backgound and reputation coupled with his uninspiring & unguarded utterance no wonder Tinapa has gone to d dogs.

Indeed. I cannot believe that any sane Nigerian can hold brief for OGD. They say action speaks louder than words. The entire World saw how OGD desperately used 9 lawmakers to illegally impeach 15 lawmakers just so he could get his 100 billion retirement fund bond !!!!!! it is this same character some folks are now trying to hold brief for ? Wonders will never end !!!!!

OGD stopped pretending to lead 5 years ago. Since then he totally embraced corruption , the persecution of dissenting voices and the self-aggrandizement of himself and his cronies. I can't believe folks are this quick to forget the gross misrule of OGD to actually begin speaking in his favour . What a strange nation ours is .
Nobody is talking of other OGD’s activities in government, what we are saying is concessionring is an accepted form of alternative administering of failed and wobbly state owned enterprises.

Like the Assistant said the new Governor of Ogun State should go and ask his ‘God Father’ in Lagos what the concept is all about. So long ‘OGD’ who is a crook anyway did not give the concession to his family members I don’t see a case in it, rather it is the ‘God Father’ in Lagos who has some serious conflict of interest issues going on in his backyard by passing almost every elective post in Lagos State to family members

Anioma and Ikwerres are special Igbos, they are distinct from the East Central Igbos, who are mono-culture, monotonous in their thinking and have a similar continuum of recent historical experience. The Ikwerres and Aniomas have co-habited and lived with non Igbo’s for centuries, which alone makes them unique necessitating reasons why they should preserve their own identity.

Just because they have Igbo names does not mean they should be amalgamated with the East Central Igbo’s. River Niger has made a natural boundary possible, nature has bestowed on them a separate identity. The isolation from the General pack of Eastern Igbo’s has infused into their culture other alien cultures which should be celebrated, why would one want to throw such rich heritage away for some fathom, fake merger just in the name of a GREATER Igbo Nation, this idea is similar to those 3rd Reich in Germany whose sole purpose was the Merger of all ethnic Germans in Czechs, Poles,
Austrian and Slovakia.

Merging the Ikwerrres and Aniomas to Eastern  Igbo’s is like calling for the merger of Austrians with the Germans or the German Swiss with Germany.

Although they are ALL German ethnically, they are unique in their outgoing, both in their tolerance level, and in their accommodation and reception of other non-German race. There tolerance level is higher than the average German from Germany,  so also is their social scalability, they would mix with other nationalities without carrying that proud German barge of being an almighty super race on their forehead.

Same argument can be proffered to the Ilorin’s who are clearly Yoruba’s, the SW does not have any covert plan or desire of annexing them, as they exist now, they have a rich history dating back to the days of Afonja of Ilorin and that history determines who they are, and how they came to be, if you merge them with the General Yoruba population they would lose their identity in a 100 to 200 year’s time
, that is why preservation of cultures slightly alien to the general population should be encourage,  even though they might speak the same language with the General community which in some cases might just be 5 miles down the road, preservation is very important and must be safeguarded at all cost. Message for southern muslims:
To the northern muslims, you are all infidels. That is why try hard  as you can (Adegbite and Co.) you can never be head of islam in Nigeria
You see your moon differently, they see theirs differently
In the last election, Buhari, a northern muslim, refused to yield to the requests of Tinubu, a southern muslim: all because they feel superior to you.
Yet, you dey fall mugu for their antics

I was in Kano in 2001 when I visited a friend serving there
Suddenly riot broke out
Yoruba muslims, Yoruba christians, Igbos and other southern and northern christians were killed
They say you live peaceably with christians in your midst, hence you are not good muslims
They say you southern muslims drink beer and patronize asha-wos, like christians do, so you are for those reasons, not true muslims.
But please take a trip to a place called Trailer Park along the Port Harcourt-Onne Highway in River State. They come from the North to load fertilizers from NAFCON and petroleum products from the nearby NNPC. There you will see these northern muslims in hundreds who empty beer bottles into their washing kettles used for ablution and drink from it, in deceit of the unwary. You find them sleeping with southern asha-wos on the back of their trailers at night. Ask them, they tell you ''this is southern nigeria, sharia will not catch us here''. They then go back north and pretend all is well and continue with their holier-than-thou attitude.
Did Abacha not die atop Indian asha-wos, as we hear? Yet, to a northern muslim, Abacha is more important than even the holiest of southern muslims.

I pity all these southern muslims who do not want to see beyond their noses.
Sharia Bank? Hm!! They go throw bomb inside the banking hall. Guess who  the most bankers in Nigeria are, and thus, who the potential victims would be
They go use your savings buy bomb wey dey go use kill you.
The emphasis on islamic banking is a red flag that should not be ignored
We have had Habib Bank etc; no one cared, because the name does not suggest anything of security interest
From the grapevine, one of the conditions given by the Mullahs in the Middle East to pump in cash is that the name must be ISLAMIC BANK to stamp in the IOC angle to it.

Even the deceit by Sanusi in mentioning that an Igbo man is  a shareholder of his sharia bank is lost on so many.
Ask him why he specifically singled out that Igbo man, among 10-15 other shareholders.

Hold your ears and listen up; Sharia is on its way to Ibadan. A word is enough for the wise.
You are an alarmist.

For all I know.
Most banks were set up with a secular mindset
to therefore ascribe regular banks as a 'christian bank' don't augur well.

That they are sometimes owned by Christians alone don't make it otherwise
Banking operations are conducted without necessarily toeing the line of Christianity.
There is a difference between a ' christain' owned secular Bank and a 'Bank' established with the sole doctrine of Christiandom as her guiding principle and mantra, the former is what impoverished millions of Nigerians and d latter has never being tried and tested, I rather give d latter the go ahead than put one more cent in d former. A lot people have lost confidence in today's Banking sector despite d high profile transfiguration embarked upon many moons ago by no other person than Soludo.

Today that surging empire that took d west African region by storm lies in ruins due to greed, selfishness and self aggrandisement by d so called defacto owners of d Banks.

Christains in Nigeria has suffered in d hands of Muslim Bankers like d Saraki's so also have they suffered in  the hands of Christain Bankers like " Eratus & Ibru" so why not have our own Bank then.

Some people are funny, why would d North turn to Islamic Banking when the news Is splashed all over d networks that messers Ibru had lost count of how many homes and businesses  she had within VI Lagos not counting d whole streets she bought in d UK and America.

Why are people screaming, please make una behave oh!!! undecided

The Nigerian Christian unlike her compatriots throughout the world is a very passionate, patriotic and unperturbed human being who in most cases tend to follow the tenants of Christ to the letter although being human many fall to temptation when carrying out this arduous task of adhering to the principles outlined either in the Old Testament or the New Testament.

The Nigerian Christian is unique, they are in the mould of 17th century Christian clerics in fact the Nigerian Christians and their Muslim brothers are both probably tied to the fanaticism, the enthusiasm and ‘aweness’ of that quaint believe in the existence of a supreme being. There is a great fear of the unknown in Nigeria, 99% of Nigerians believe in Heaven and Hell, it has been revealed  that even armed robbers have sharp short prayers b4 embarking on their nefarious unenviable activities. The beileif system is all encompassing, I once met a gentleman in London committing a blatant fraud but this Gentleman went into great extent to convince me his activities were a blessing.

The Nigerian Christian would not let the Islamic Bank impasse go quietly without having her own pound of flesh and that would be the creation in tandem of a 'Christen bank'. The so called secular Banks as we know them are to many Christians are Banks of the world and their association with such worldly pit of indescribable corruption is an insult to Christendom(“obviously coming from the Christian believe of do not be equally yoke with the world) the fact that some well known elders of some Pentecostal outfits were enmeshed in the Banking scandal that permeated from our banks notwithstanding.

It is only Nigeria of all the nations in the world that sponsors both Christians and Muslims for the holy hajj, although for the Muslims, Hajj is something all Muslims must embark on b4 the end of their lives if possible according to the Holy Quran,  the Koran  invariably did not specifically say it is a sin if u don’t make it to Mecca, but the Nigeria state has taken it on board and made it a firm government policy to help the poor, down and trodden and any other first timers to Mecca so that this religious commitment could be accomplished.

When the decision was made that the state would assist Nigerians in their effort to make their religious vocation a reality the Christians were not left out in the invariable equation and dynamics at the time, obviously the taught then was “what is good for the goose is also good for the gender” and secondly Nigeria had too much money to play with in the early 70’s when this policy was inaugurated. This policy is a strange one thus so is so many things about Nigeria but peculiar to Nigeria, obviously with Gowon being at the helms of affair when the policy started it was easy to strike a balance in favour of Christians at the time.

Religious issues in Nigeria are about striking a balance, the Christian Bank we also come to stay because the Nigerian Christian is Unique and a special breed none like them in the whole wide world. A friend of my told me once Nigeria is one nation in the whole world where the miracle per population is the highest,  that we have the highest unexplained healing per population when compared with any other Nation on Earth.

That was one statistic that startled me initially but when I analyse it more closely and critically I could not default his grandstanding proclamation although I still find it difficult to swallow. My Friend said because the Nigerian Christian practised Christendom as it was practised in the 16th Century, where sheer faith and unadulterated believe can make the most inexplicable thing happen in a whim is one reason why our Christains are a special breed. My friend informed me equivocally that the only man who rose from death after 3 days of dying happened in Nigeria,(can that be true)  he said it has never happened anywhere b4.

My friend also went on and gave instances of what the lord is being doing in our great nation, he said what is happening in Nigeria mirrors Biblical events verbitmly. I said to my friend how did you come to such vague conclusion, he said look at the death of Abacha, this man had good health and everything but the pains to the nation was too much. He said do you know how many men of God fasted 40 days and 40 Nights for God to intervene and change the cause of history and God answered like he used to do in the Old Testament, we are Unique he queried.

He said look at the pivotal rise of Jonathan, do I think that was down to any man, Jonathan like David was from one of the smallest tribes in the Nation yet when the King of Kings sanctioned him as the next King, nothing any man can do about it no matter what or who they were. He said the rise of Jonathan is an extraordinary example of the guided “ hand of God” in affairs of our nation  and it has never happened in the annals of Human History anywhere in the world except of course in the Bible. He Said Jonathan is a modern day “ David” and to crown it the man had a name called “ Goodluck”. For all Goodlucks fault he was an anointed man and like David should start learning his stock in trade or be swept away.

I think a Christen Bank is due just as the Islamic Bank is coming on shore hopefully this would bring a quick death to the conventional bank as we know them.

LG should be controlled from Abuja and not within the state governments. The elections in the LG should be carried out BY National INEC and not State INEC. Is it not surprising that barely 5 months AFTER the then Imo state Governor conducted LG elections and declared PDP the overall winner sweeping all LG areas in the state, the architect and the grand-mufti of this victory cannot himself win his second term bid. Obviously there is something seriously wrong and flawed with the current system.

The whole set up needs to be overhauled.

Commissioners were the covert and clever method the military regimes employed to succour and diminish any pain, yearnings and discontent the people might remotely have against their regime. The Military throughout their stay in power always had an innate fear of a backlash from the civilian population and were prepared to use any method which would outwardly make the civilians appear as the majority and truly in most cases the civilians does appear as the majority with a single military Governor surrounded by yes-sir men, to the untrained eye it would seem pleasant and an inclusive Government.

IBB’s Government was the most inclusive of all the military regimes he sought after every single critic in the land given them one appointment or the other in effect silently them and having a good uninterrupted 8 years run in power, obviously constantly reminding Nigerians he was going to hand over to a civilian regime.

Commissionership by the time the constitution was drawn had become the accepted norm and the only alternative way of Administering in Nigeria, it found her way back into our constitution in 1999 obviously this was a case of mass hysteria in the polity, intellectuals and thinkers tasked with drawing up an all encompassing Administrative model for the country had been transfixed and been hypnotised into believing Commissionership is administration and there can be no substituted or Administration cannot function without these “Gentlemen’s” club which of recent Political God-Fathers has turned into a weapon use to hold many a Governor into ransom.

We all saw how Adedibu held the Governors in Oyo state into ransom so also we all witnessed the kidnapping of a Governor in Anambra State and many other atrocities committed in the name of Commissioner’s who were in the regime as a sponsor of the God Father to monitor every steps the Governors make.

Commissionership have passed their sell by date and more than b4 we should be looking at alternative models especially in times of dwindling funds to the states

The World Bank job is not worth the accolades some of us seem to heap over such a non-representative institution that gets funded by the G8 Countries. They are not accountable to any one and spend the money dispensed to them willy-nilly doing the dirt on 3rd world countries and emerging economies (hence why the World Bank said that Nigeria was still an under-borrowing country) The executives in the world bank have too much free time to indulge in all kind of exigencies

They are not any different from their sister organisation the “  IMF” whose leader were  caught trying their  latest sadomachostic trick on a poor African immigrant

What is Ngozi’s past time in this gentlemen’s club obviously each person would carve out his or her own niche and fantasy,  I think Ngozi’s seem to be a  penchant of going AWOL(Absence without Leave)whilst still drawing her wages from these undemocratic and non-profitable international organisation.

Morocco has chosen to twitch their constitution a little further, the King would be in charge of the Military and Religious matter all other matters would be left to the Prime-Minister of the state.

I think a Monarchy would work wonders in Nigeria(since we have shown and displayed that we cannot manage our affairs without a big brother), but the way we go about it would be by using the 3 Major Monarchs rotationally, the Sultan of Sokoto who has always being the chairman of the Traditional councils in Northern Nigeria. The Alaafin of Oyo(I know some people would prefer the Ooni, but I think the Alaafin edge it) and the Oba of Benin since the Owelle of Ontisha was an off-shoot of the Oba of Benin and the Igbo’s never really had Kings. The King of Calabar might be considered but I think the Oba of Benin is the 3rd highest King in Nigeria going by historical antecedents of the areas they controlled. Whoever is selected as President or Monarch of Nigeria would rule till death after which the post would shift to the next person.

The reason I proffer this is because of the wanton display of selfishness, lack of selflessness and greed amongst our Law makers. How can any reasonable and sensible country allow the blatant squandering of her common-wealth to continue un-abated without making effort at correcting what is clearly a national embarrassment, an  un-wanton display of theft and banditry perpetuated in one of the highest and respected institution in the Land.

I think if the royal Fathers are given the power on certain issues they can pass down an Executive Directive or Royal fiat to the Prime Minister that no Law Maker should get more than a certain amount, obviously the agreed amount would be far from these mind-blowing figures they currently get at the moment. At present the President of the Nation cannot do anything as he is seen as an independent organ of Government that cannot really dabble into Legislative matters or business, as a result of adhering to the principle of checks and balances,  the legislative arm knowing they are on a home run are basking in their illegality to no avail, without any recourse to any higher authority. They are a Frankenstein monster eating the life out of our nation they need to be curbed.

I am expecting the Igbo’s to come out all guns blazing on this one, but we cannot ignore hard historical facts and figures as per who the top 3 royal fathers are in Nigeria.
