Did you really answer the question above, or are you sounding like on of the PDP politicians.

I asked: How far have you gone; and you answered, we are getting there. Any other thing you said does not focus on the question.

It is not as if I am trying to discourage you. If you are sincere and serious I love what you are doing and will join you.

But first answer my question. you took off since 2009, what have you achieved? What were the challenges you met? What are the plans to make better results now, because it was obvious you anticipated to make impact during the last election but did not.

If you are a revolutionary, be assured you are talking to someone like you. But be straight and avoid rhetoric
A Revolution that is not people orientated, people inspired, would fail. All the signs are apparent, we would definitely make a show of the next elections, and this revolution would take place when the people cannot stomach the upheavals and pains anymore.

There is one thing thus, first thing first, we need one rep from each state, and then we would take it from there. I am not discouraging people or states that are over represented but I would like each person who is interested to register their interest and their States of Origin. Anybody who wants to make money in government should forget joining this party. This regime is about redistribution
of wealth.

Walahi, we need better EDUCATION, especially in the NORTH
- The word for that is “ Social Re-Engineering” of the North. The British practised indirect rule system- Ruling through the Emirs, why the French practised “assimilation policy- Making an African to think like a Frenchman” that is why you see the President of Niger in Suits and most Hausa/Fulani in Nigeria does not know how to button a suit. The Hausa/Fulani of Niger are more enlightened and more French than their brethrens in Nigeria.

This thread took off since 2009, how far have you gone!
We are getting there. We have started seeing things that were alien in our society beginning to manifest itself. Kidnapping, Suicide Bombers, increase cases of sophisticated Armed Robbery, Cultism leading to death, One Chance- People being adopted for the sole purpose of rituals.

The only problem we have is we fail to focus on those blighting the nation. A time would come the people would wake up in the middle of the Night and kill all their leaders, we are getting close to that time, it seems our Northern Brethrens are braver than the Southerners, all the Northerners needs is an idea logy to flow with, at the moment they seems to rest their frustration on a familiars laurel (Islam) we shall re-orientate them, they are prepared to put the dirt on the gluttons in their society. There was a clear evidence of this during the last riots in the North. Top Politicians including the VP’s house got burnt, Emirs Palace got burnt, we need soldiers from the South too who would brave the authorities.

Beaf,
I've never seen you criticize PDP-lead administration under GEJ for once and I've never seen you commended any initiative on the the part of opposition government no matter how good it might be. Don't you think something is wrong with you or your life? Each time I read your posts, I feel sad as if you were sitting next to me. Nigeria as a country is going down on daily basis and only what you people could do is to blame imaginary enemies when the Government has power, authority and resources to tackle the crisis. If USA could go to far away Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Syria in the name of fighting terrorism and their citizens feel safe, I'm baffled by the GEJ's govt inability to curtail domestic unrest. With your stereotype line of arguement, I don't pray to have your type in my immediate environment. Or may be you just like attention, and surely you know how to get it.
THat na 'oro'-word for beaf.

GEJ made Boko-Haram look like local champions, in fact I would go one step forward and announce to the world that the GEJ Regime is actually presiding over all the Southern States and Middle Belt States. One gets that airy feeling that most far Northern States have some kind of independence. The Kano State Governor release Boko-Haram lieutenants from prison and nobody including the SSS has anything to say about it.

If this is what the NRP is banking on, then I say it is on a hiding to none.
You mention a process of social engineering and recolonization but fail to outline precisely what work has been advanced in these areas hitherto or even how the NRP plans to attain such highfalutin goals by partaking in the ‘democratic’ elections planned for 2015.

You know, too often we rest content in a state of ignorance; spouting criticisms about the current socio-political system, even as we exhibit the lack of discipline or focus to engage in the search for credible alternatives.
Against this backdrop, I applaud your efforts to elevate the debate.

Still, it needs to be said that there is nothing new here.
The NRP has tendered what is unquestionable a Maoist template, which requires us to suspend our current realities and ignore historic specificities.
This is not the kind of change we desire, @KnowAll
Political Systems evolve, what works in China would not necessary work in Nigeria, there might be a need for regional variation. I am not ‘dissing’ democracy in anyway or manner, all I am emphasising is the lacklustre attitude of this FG with regards to Borno State who albeit unanimously has declared her independence through the backdoor whilst still drawing funds from Abuja, this kind of situation would not sit with a NRP at the helms of affairs of this nation. And secondly never make your military men bored, sitting in their barracks doing nothing except eating pepper soup night and day when there are jobs to be done.

The NRP would wield the big stick and the big guns in Borno State, the Emir would be sacked and those parasites who call themselves the Government of the State who are(not all of them ) sponsoring Boko Haram would all be sacked from the Governor to the Councillor. Hence the second phase of the Social Engineering programme which I must say is extreme but necessary, it would be in the good interest of the state in years to come, if all her citizens are graduates, such people would be free from fundamentalism of any kind because they can and would be able to discern and make informed decision.

If Jonathan wants to be there for the next 40 years he is welcome. The only problem with him is he is a timid man. He has forgotten he is the C-in-C of the armed forces. Does he know what it means to be head of the entire military in the country; it simply means he has a bigger gun than everyone else, with that established get the military busy, a bored, inactive military plans coup. An engaged military would be focused on the Job, there are states in Nigeria that needs to be 100% militarized, divided into military formations so as to be able to nip any social malice in the bud.

Plateau and Borno State should forget Civilian Government for the foreseeable future, these Governors needs to be sacked without any further delay.

We must not forget the President of Cameroon is from Yaounde in Southern Cameroon and he has ruled that country for 32 years. The composition of Cameroons ethnic nationalities is just like ours, but in Cameroon the vociferous and dissenting voices OF THE North and the SW English Cameroon has being silenced.

The Principles and Concept of Social Re-Engineering and Nationhood.

1. Who are Nigerians that is the first question?

2. Nigeria needs to be re-colonized by Nigerians and the social fabric re-adjusted from that of Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba to that of a Nigerian.

3. Boko Haram what is that? Somebody needs to go and read about “Joseph Stalin” Don’t the present pretenders at Aso Rock know that to neutralize a snake you cut off its head first. Boko Haram would stop the day the Government has the balls to make stern decision to bring back Borno State into the comity of federating states.

Today Borno State has a ‘quasi-independent status’. NRP would depose the Emir, would sack the government and who ever makes any noise would be thrown into a gulag never to see the light of day again. Military Officers and Police officers would appointed as Governor, so would be the commissioners, LG Chairmen, right to the ward level, the whole state would be 100% militarized. That is why we in the NRP believe a nation of 150 million people should have at least 20 million people in Uniform, either in form of Police, Army, Airforce, Customs and Immigration officers.

There would be a chain of command from the ward level to the state level. With that done, the earnest process of Social Engineering and Re-colonization of that state would commence. Part of the process would be de-emphasising religion, free education for all up to University Level. The state would be run like this for 20 to 25 years all decenting voices would be liquated.

Besides anything you have to say is moot. You are not resident in nigeria and do not know enough about it to make comments. You are definitely NOT YORUBA and you probably only read about dangote on the web once you grew old enough to surf without supervision.

This is the cold hard reality of life in nigeria. There are ANCESTRAL LANDS. There are INDIGENES. Indigenes have RIGHTS as distinct from SETTLERS.

You are the one who lives in cuckoo land. Nowhere in the world do people willing give up legacies bequeathed by their ancestors without being compelled forcefully. Not Saudi Arabia, Not Japan, Not China. If such people are so concerned with serving their country, then they should go where they are needed most. Not Lagos but KANO. He can do more service there.

He is permitted under the law but he is NOT ENTITLED to it simply because he employs people there. Otherwise Yoruba CEOs of oil servicing firms would have a right to contest for governorship in Rivers and cross-rivers.

Face the reality, we are a conglomeration of nations, and as far as the yoruba NATION is concerned, Dangote IS NOT A CITIZEN.

One other thing: I am ok with being ineligible for governorship in Lagos because they are also ineligible for Governorship in my state. Obviously people serve as commissioners across state boundaries (current Osun governor Aregbesola was a commissioner in Tinubu's cabinet). That doesnt mean a Non-Yoruba can simply walk into office there.

Respect your landlords.
You don't have the slightest clue what democracy is all about, All this your yearn IS nothing more than utter sentimentalism combined with shameless sensationalism. The fact of the matter and the bone of contention is, if your people have not got the numbers they don’t get the votes. Shikena!!! cool

compared to the Ashantes, the Ga are a tiny tribe. Compared to Hausa/Igbo we are not. So your assertion is wrong AGAIN.
The problem with people like you is you live in denial, you live in a cuckoo land and therefore cocooned from the reality of the day, you still think Lagos of 2011 is the same as Lagos of 1954 where Yoruba’s constituted like 97% of the population. Mr Man wake up from your slumber and smell the coffee, today the Igbo’s alone can boast of a population between 36% to 40% of the total population of the city not taken into account all other ethnic groups.

If we are to combine all other groups together as one group inclusive of the Igbo’s, I am afraid to burst your bubble Yoruba’s would be in the minority.

Don’t forget as the adjoining Yoruba states prosper many people are leaving Lagos in droves to their respective SW states since acquiring land, properties and other holdings is much more cheaper than getting them in Lagos, so is the quality of life many aspire to live especially the older folks.
Politics › Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by KnowAll(op): 8:59am On Sep 09, 2011
Stop using examples from a nation of immigrants. they are all newcomers and no one has more claim than the next over there. We Yorubas have been living here (the awori have been there for centuries) for centuries and should be respected.

The onus is on the stranger to be civil at least and not try to collect the morsel from the homeowners mouth.
Lagos is not different from Accra. Accra once used to be Ga Tribe territory today, the ashantes from central region in Ghana have over-run the city and are now controlling every facet of that city except of course the Traditional Kingship. Democracy is a numbers game, if the Yoruba population keeps on dwindling that opens avenue for all other tribes to run for office. All I would say is " Never say Never".

@KnowAll,

What are our founder's antecedents? (see, I am beginning to sound like a card-carrying member of NRP already )
I am not asking for a photograph, lest I be mistaken for one bent on building a personality-cult before the ship sails, but just a short bio of sorts.

You see, one needs to know this new 'leader' is not cut from the same cloth as the charlatans currently desecrating the vision of our esteemed founding fathers - the ones you mentioned earlier.
Our leader was a Yoruba Nigerian that left the shores of our country in 1942, for china, he was ardent admirer of Chairman Mao, hence the reason why he went there. He also had interest in Eastern mysticism, Japanese Folklore and Tradition. In his time he has seen two backwaters, rural countries transformed in less than 3 decades to one of the most sophisticated places on Earth.

And in less than 10 years, he has seen China change her tack marrying successfully Western nation’s brazen capitalism with a comfort given communism. Since our leader has experienced both trends, he confides to us that the pitfalls Chairman Mao experienced cannot be repeated, he knows where the Chairman got it wrong and how. On a visit to Japan in the early 1970’s, he wrote his idealism and named it “the lost and last book of reason” which we the followers of the NRP termed the ‘Red Book’.

He wrote this book within the confined tranquillity of a Japanese Buddhist monk’s temple. The book was passed on to the reformers in China as a comrade-in-arms goodwill gesture. His Doctorate thesis to the Communist Party was based on “the possibility of fast tracking a multi- dimensional leap into industrialisation whilst still holding on to the tenets of communism” this paper was wildly accepted by the communist party.

His many articulated views and tenets, were adhered to and followed, the result today is the rise of China from the cacophony of misery, poverty and penury into a lender of last resort even to the super nations of the world.

That bird won't fly yet commniust China is borrowing the whole world money. I wish my country is in that position.  undecided huh

Another snippet of our Leaders "Red Book" was the mention of the tower of 'Babel' the greatest engineering feat ever embarked upon by humans. According to our Leader, the builders of that Tower were black men. And I believe him. When God caused confusion in the languages that spelt the demise of the Black man's influence,  hence why Black Africa has the most tongue amongst all the continent in the world. But the good news is the veil has being lifted in  Black Africa Generally and Nigeria in particular through the wisdom, foresight, and bird's view insight of the NRP, the Black man would once again be the cynosure of all eyes, not the skewed belief that all we are good at are our extraordinary prowess in bed.

Nigeria has 250 tongues and the rest of Black Africa probably another 200 tongues. Nigeria is the centre of the Black man's psyche, if Nigeria falls the Black man gets tainted.

Europe has tops about 20 tongues
Asia has tops about 20 tongues
America both South/North has about probably 5 tongues
Austraila probably about 5 tongues

KnowAll,

This party is going to need an ideology, something that separates the wood from the chaff which abounds everywhere.

KnowAllism (?), Zikism, Awoism, AminuKanoism, Islamism, Godfatherism, ManOfGodism, Classical liberalism, Modern liberalism, Social democracy, Neo-liberalism, Marxism,  something to hedge our bets on.

What's your call?
Our founder calls our idealogy "Equalism", No one man is better than any other man, we are all equal, we shall be paid equally, no big man or small man just comrades the way God created us.

My call is Equalism too, with a bit of socialism, and communism with a human face. I am not against capitalism As one of the egg heads of this ‘great party’, we have the blue print to full-employment in Nigeria, in fact we have the blue-print of turning the whole West African region into one huge industrial complex with Nigeria being the heart-beat, the hub, and the cynosure of all eyes, the enviable bride the whole world would like to court.

The Baton has being passed over to us by the creator of the universe but for some strange reasons our future has being hijacked by usurpers. We shall not go on a culling exercise in other to get rid of the pretenders who are holding to the reins of power in our society today; we shall defeat them in the ballot box, our people would clamour for us to take over the reins of power.

The whole society needs to be rebuilt, bulldozed and a new society built from the scratch, there would be job for every one because everyone would be busy building.

Some salient but controversial if not weird ‘hushed peep or sneaked preview into our leaders Red Book’ spelling out his believes and views. Our strategy would be no Nigerian would have more than one property, house or abode.  It is the belief our leader holds dearly, his argument is that even in heaven (for those of us who belief in heaven) God the creator of Heaven and Earth would not give his saints 2 or 10 Mansions but 1 befitting Mansion, why are we earthlings doing the opposite. It is the belief of our leader to realign this world and our country in particular with her humble beginnings.

Super power evolves, American’s influence is waning, Europe was b4 America, then we have China Today after the US. It is time for Nigeria and the Black Race, we shall lift the disparaging profile of the Blackman from that of contempt and a parasite to the world to that of builders and doers.

Grants towards poor countries should be pursued holistically like our current foreign policy. It should be geared towards gratuitous benefit to the Nigerian people. Perhaps Nigerian’s border communities and beyond the immediate Border areas should be the beneficiary of this largesse

Some Projects that might fit the billing of this policy include[/color]

1. Fast Train connection between the Cities of Lagos – Accra, whereby poor countries like Togo and Benin would contribute a stipend while larger nations like Nigeria and Ghana whilst taken care and responsibility of their own sphere of influence would also contribute heavily towards making the project become a reality in Togo and Benin.

2. Since Nigeria has decided not build a functional refinery in her country, perhaps contributing towards the upgrade of the road between Sokoto and Zinder in Niger Republic would be a good project. Zinder has a refinery and the Nigerian Government recently announced to the world that she would be importing oil from that facility to take care of oil shortages in Northern Nigeria.

3. Lake Chad, a wonderful lake in the semi-arid region of NE Borno State could be dredge obviously with the collaboration of Niger, Chad and Nigeria and a first class Animal Sanctuary built there that would rival the Serengeti in Tanzania, already that place inhabit and supports a few animals, Giraffes, Lions, buffalo, Hippos we need to work with our neighbours towards establishing a first class facility that would employ most those poor folks that have enlisted into Boko Haram out of frustration. We must not forget that the Yardua Govemrnet spent $500 million dollars exploring for oil to non avail.

4. Bakassi, Nigeria should work with Cameroon in making sure the peninsula is developed into a tourist heaven that would benefit both countries.

5. We should not give out money willy-Nilly, there should be benefit to our nation for every grant given out.

Armed robbers on Sunday killed two 300 level students of American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola, Adamawa State at a suya spot. The AUN Deputy Director of Communications, Mr. Innocent Nwobodo, in a statement made available to Daily Sun, said the President of the AUN, Dr. Margee Ensign, announced the sudden death of two students, Mr. Levi Nyat Yusuf and Mr. Abaagu Charles in the hands of armed robbers.

According to him, the students were attacked and killed by the robbers on Sunday, September 4 at a suya spot near the Jimeta Main Market in Yola. “The market,” he said, “is about 14 kilometers away from the main campus of AUN.”

He disclosed that details of the incident, which led to the sudden death of the two students, were still scanty, adding that the Adamawa Police Command was investigating the matter.
Nwobodo further noted that the victims were reported to have gone to the town to buy suya when the robbers attacked them, taking away their car while other students who were with the deceased at the time of the incident managed to escape from the scene as a scuffle between the two friends and the attackers ensued.

In a statement on the night of the incident, AUN President, Ensign said she was deeply saddened by the untimely death of the two students in the prime of their lives.
Speaking further on the incident, Assistant Vice President Public Relations and Communications, Abubakar Tahir, told Daily Sun that the two students were in 300 level with Mr. Levi Nyat in the Business Management Department and Mr. Abaagu Charles, an undecided student.

Abba Tahir said the parents of the students were informed same day and that they came to Abuja for the memorial service organized for the deceased students yesterday.
He said they would decide the issue of burial but could not say whether any arrest had been made as at the time of going to press.
“As police investigations intensify into the circumstances surrounding the killing of the two students more facts have emerged, which indicate that the victims actually left a drinking joint before arriving at the suya spot where they were shot,” Abba Tahir said

Good idea, but would it come to fruition is the bone of contention. I personally do not see any reason why not, considering this man still has 7 more years to go. It is always good as a Governor or President to know what you want to achieve within a time frame. It gives you a bird’s eye view of all the hurdles ahead.

Imagine a very poor state of osun embarking on a meaningless project. How many people are in osun state? ? How many people visits osun state in a whole year? ? The governor should focus on those projects that will affects lives of his already poverty ridden people than talking about project he has not even done the feasibility appraisal for.
What do you mean by meaningless project; perhaps Anambra can borrow a leaf from the many inspiring Governors coming through in the SW, the earlier the better for them, sooner or later everyone including your humble self, that is if you are humble enough, would abandon those death traps called Federal highways. By using better and quality state roads and paying for it, you would indirectly be putting more money into the coffers of Oshun State knowingly or unknowingly.

Anambra should be thinking along those line building parallel roads and bridges over the Niger and putting a Toll rather than waiting for almighty clueless  Federal Government to build a second bridge over the Niger.

Mimiko of Ondo State is also building a new road from Akure to Lagos that would shave out 45 minutes from the journey. The road would connect to somewhere in Ogun State.
