All the Pro-Jang Governors have to do is change the name round to, Forum For Nigerian Governors - FFNG, Abi oh ![]() |
Why not now, Since the men in the East have chosen not think out of the box, common sense dictates and allows the few thinking men in our country to come forward and relief the pains, obstacle and despair of our Eastern brothers after all what brothers for. ![]() |
The question the OP asked is very simple and straight forward for an open minded person. You asking the right questions? What have those Anambra apologist have to say about that! I know Delta State is a basket case and they are under a cause, and since Ibori's cousin is the one at the helms of affairs in that state, nothing positive can, would ever come out from the Ibori dynasty. ![]() |
Let us call a spade a spade, it is within the capacity of state Governments to build this bridge, once the will is there, it would be a done deal. What I would suggest in 2015, both Delta State and Anambra State electorates should vote overwhelmingly for a progressive Governor, do not vote for multiple candidates at the same time, because u would only split the votes and make it easy to rig for the status quo whoever that maybe. Once the citizenry knows and decide to throw their weight one way, just like what happened in Imo state in 2011, it would be very difficult and impracticable to rig without causing mayhem, serious chaos, and disturbances. OBJ knew rigging in Lagos State in 2003 against Tinubu would not only bring his regime down but might be a template for another round of Military to take over once again. |
2ND NIGER BRIDGE And 722m ikoyi link bridge got built in no time.. that's 122m more than this river bridgeIf the above fact is true, calling both the Delta State and the Anambra State Governors intellectually lazy and political Lilliputian would not be an understatement, these men are running a maladministration, it is like accepting F9 as a pass mark, the Governors do not have the interest of their people at heart the slightest. ![]() One should bear in mind the income realize to the state through tolling would not only be magnanimous in content and in value, it would also help increase much needed internal generated revenue which would help both states build, complete and finalize other people orientated projects in their respective states, this would have been unprecedented East of the Niger, where going cap in hand or waiting cap in hands for the FG to spoon feed them is the norm and the other of the day. It is shameful when adults are spoon-fed like babies not even kids get fed like that these days , unfortunately adults who have chosen to think out-of the box would be spoon-fed this way. The Governors in this zone are lazy, glutonic kleptomaniacs who are only there to garner, corner and siphon the people's commonwealth for their own lustful insatiable self aggrandizement. It is a shame. Can you imagine having, someone like Pat Utomi as Governor of Delta state or even Great Ogboru and on the other end have Soludo, this bridge would have been a done deal. When Soludo said he would turn Anambra into Dubai he knows what he is talking about. |
@op I think you're an evil person who takes pleasure in the misfortune of others .... What do they call that in Oxford English Dictionary? Masochist?!!! You know more than anybody!I am not an evil person. It is just like the catholic faith when they make someone a saint, people should pray calling on that person's name, if it came to pass that they got healed, that person prayed to becomes a 'saint '. Same thing here, the tragedy happened, hence given credence to the word "Eggonized" the law enforcement officers did not know what hit them, almost 101 policemen and SSS Officers died to some bunch of pagan-animist tribe using far inferior weaponry to those of the officers killed given the word the mysticism it requires to attain it's uniqueness in the history of mankind hence why we should all join hands in making the word stick. |
since the word is almost similar and sound like agonized it should sail through Oxford English Dictionary's tough guidelines for new words. |
If police and SSS can be killed just like that, what protection does ordinary civilians on the street have? They were not killed, they were Eggonized. Go and check the meaning of Eggonized. When someone is beaten to stupour do they have a mouth again. ![]() |
The Mathematics came in handy at the end of the day, if a donation of $1000 dollars is levied on all parishes abroad, without mincing word, the funds raised from such mundane, casual, and normal exercise would be going to millions of dollars, without saying much Mathematics as a discipline and more importantly God has served Adeboye well. I live in a small town in Kent, UK and we have 4 redeem churches in my Town. ![]() |
Eggonised - The unholy act of Biblical type destruction in a modern era. It encompasses the wanton destruction always and almost without trace, annihilation, and massacre of ones enemies. In the most variant form, it brings disputes, fights or disagreements to an infinite abrupt halt, whilst the respondents or those at the receiving end of the damage takes stock of the incomprehensible dissolution of their peers. I think we should write Oxford English Dictionary to include this word in their next edition of the Dictionary. What do you think guys!!! ![]() |
It is high time the moderators do their jobs, this thread does not belong here. Banish it to were it belongs, it is embarrassing when sane and normal people come on this thread hoping to find genuine reasons why there were disputes and disturbances in S.A. Only to stumble on some rather revolting comments by supposedly African Brothers. Let the combatants continue their retinue antagonism in the sectarian and racial bickering's thread. |
Another mistake the forum made was allowing Amechi to run for a second term, because he is from the president's backyard he should know that the President would come hard on him. If the chairman was Niger State GOVERNOR, Kano State GOVERNOR, Katsina state GOVERNOR or Sokoto States Governor would GEJ be as heavy handed as he his on Amechi. The answer is capital NO. |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The President's fight with Amechi is Amechi 's undoing, Amechi does not need to take on the President because there is power in unity, once a house is divided they lose their potency the President with his awesome power would be reduced to a liliput once 36 men gang up against him. Amechi by taken on the president on his own has de-mystify the auraness of this all powerful forum. Amechi has given the president a respite by taken on him which is a terrible mistake by him. |
The independence of the LG'S will not see the light of day because of this powerful forum. They keep on depleting our sovereign wealth fund because of their insatiable hunger for more funds yet no meaningful or commensurate development in the states. They shot state creation to pieces. Jonathan's one term of 7 years was rejected outstandinginly. They control their state senators and reps men. They choose would be ministers From their states for Mr President. They are in full control of the LG'S in their states. Many LG have caretakers no elected LG officials. |
What makes this forum even more deadly is their unconstituionality they cannot be held responsible for decisions made since they are a mirage, they exist as a Gentlemen 's club. Take the petrol price hike of last year they all agreed with Mr President but when the troubles started they withdrew into their shell making the buck stop at the President's table. |
Some say it is a harmless forum for like minded state executive s. I say it is a forum where the 36 most powerful men in the country points a loaded weapon on a sitting terrified President telling him to implement their wishes whilst not forgetting to sign the dotted lines. That to me does not look or sound like a harmless association of like minded fellows. The NGF has won every battle against the President. Hence the reason why it has become politicised. The President wants his own man and his own motley crew in that Gentlemmen's club. I don't blame Goodluck Jonathan since he became Acting President the NGF has been a torn in the flesh. The President realise a bit too late that getting this esteem club behind him would not only make him sleep well at night it would also auger well in times of political expedeincy. I must give to it to GEJ though, for now knowing the latent power of this forum. It takes a well educated and inciteful person to no the dynamics of power in present day Nigeria, even as powerful as OBJ was this esteemed Forum told him his 3rd term Agenda well b4 it got to the Senate & the House of Reps was dead on arrivals. Going forward any would be future President would not only make sure their man is the Chairman of this forum they will also make sure they have the numbers within the forum to thawrth any would be unfavourable policy to the Government of the day. |
That is why there are no coups anymore in Africa, if you pay 400 house members $10000 a month, they would do everything to protect that democracy. |
My mistake I mean to say it will be difficult for the Orons to be Governor of Akwa Ibom State not the Annangs. The Oron language is incomprensible to others. Yes Akpabio is Annang they and ibibios are the majority. |
^^^^^^^^^^^ Is Akpabio from Oron, Oron is the main abode of the annangs. |
@ihimami It would be difficult does not mean it cannot happen. !!! ![]() |
It would be be difficult for a Yoruba to rule Kogi because of the Igala majority. It would be difficult for a Idoma man to rule Benue because of the Tiv majority. It would be difficult for a southern Kaduna to rule Kaduna State because of the Hausa / Fulani of the central & Northern Kaduna. It would be difficult for the Egun of Lagos State to rule Lagos state because of the Yoruba majority. It would be difficult for Ijos to rule Ondo State because of the Yoruba majority. It would be difficult for aworis to rule ogun state because of the majority ijebus & egbas It would be difficult for the Eggons of nassarawa state to rule that state because they have been maginalised by the Hausa / Fulanis. It would be difficult for Hausa / Fulanis to rule Plateu state because of the majority Christian Beroms. It would be difficult for Ijos to rule rivers state because of the majority Ikweres It would be difficult for annangs to rule akwa ibom state because of the majority ibibios It would be difficult for delta State igbos to rule delta state because of the majority urobos & itshekIris. It would be difficult for the nupes To rule kwara state because of the majority Yorubas. |
I get the feeling Amechi is a bully. I doubt if he is listens to his commissioner's or special advisers, I know many of them are probably paying lip service to him now & praying silently in their privacy that the earlier he is impeached the better for all. At least there would be sigh of relief. |
Could someone please load that photograph of Saliva hancuffed like a common criminal when he was caught hiding in his bedroom. That would be Amechi's faith very soon, the man has grown to big for his own boots. |
Amechi has lost touch with the common man, he was a speaker for 8 years plus being a Governor for another 6 years that makes 14 years of jolloffication. He is 48 years, take 14 from 48 = 34 years. That means this man has had it good for him since he was 34 years. There are many 34 year old Nigeria's praying daily to get employed on d minimum wage of 18, 000. 0 but to no avail. So the man should thank God for his life so far. |
There are no SOE in Katsina state so demanding a check or a search of the emir's palace is a No-No. If for any reasons the army believes weapons are hidden there u just wait outside the palace any vehicle com in & going out would be subject to vigorous search. Its a no brainer? |
Unemployed FFK would probably be given a special adviser job in one of d ACN states at least that is better than been unemployed. |
Mr Amechi your life is not in danger you are about to become citizen Amechi just like the rest of us. You don't start a fight you can't win. |
As messianic as Rotimi Amechi might appear he has not finished one single project. Yes he is a visonary but not a finisher. Akpabio as befuddled as he is he has some semblance of physical deliverance. People can see those Julius Berger flyovers in town, people can see d airport built, the e-library, show us what Amechi has done all mouth all mouth watering projects that would not see d light of day. |
Danbaba is a Christian, d deputy is a Muslim hence the delay, Christians have lost 2 Governors in the north. Kaduna & Taraba States. Jonathan needs a Christian machinery set up & ready for mobilisation for 2015. The VP would deliver Kaduna, Taraba State is a political orphan at the moment. |
We are in a democracy nothing stops the Governor winning in the courts. |
Name the Judas in the north? Who are they? ![]() |
If Nyako wins in the court na double Wahala for dead body and the owner of dead body. More trouble would be brewing for GEJ if the courts favors Nyako. |
