I need freethinkers on this forum to help make the best decision on what do do and the right steps to take, by reading in-between lines of my few points below.

Am a student of AE-Funai, and 21 years of age (I think this introduction is enough)
Here comes the points
Around January this year 2020, during one of my ENT 301(entrepreneurship) classes,I was able to pick a vital point, when the lecturer way pointing out the importance of Agriculture and the told us how he normally grow cucumber & watermelon, and he made alot of money from it.
I was motivated and that same day, I met him and requested for for information on the crops, which he gave me and asked me to visit a company by name Thai Agro based in Imo state.
I did some Google search on cucumber farming, quora actually taught me things, but it wasn't enough.
During this covid-19 pandemic break before the interstate lockdown Thai Agro organized a free tutorial program for young farmers called KUCH-99, which I attended and I was well trained and tutored on cucumber & watermelon farming
Now here is the problem to solve, which is truncating my studies and focusing on Agriculture.

I recently practiced cucumber farming three months ago ( June) ,I made around 25-30k (a small farm),
Am in 300l mechatronics engineering, still two more years to go and additional one year NYSC( altogether 3 yrs)
I lost my dad in 2015, since then school has been difficult, mom is a teacher in private school and her pay is less than 15k per month.
And am planning on taking this farming steps, because of the following reasons
1).. Am seeing it as a recreative business
2) I thought of farming and schooling at the same time, but the distance is too far, traveling from Alike Ikwo in ebonyi state (my school) to Ejule in kogi state my hometown (and where am planning to expand the farm) every weekend

3) cucumber is a perishable goods needed to be harvested every four to five days or else it rippens and also requires daily monitoring and direction of stem after staking , meaning I must be around.

4) I had thoughts of hiring land near the school, where I can grow the crops, haven't seen any. Also planned on begging the VC for few Hector's of land inside school since he is from faculty of Agriculture (but I don't see that being possible anyway)

5) paying school fees has been difficult for my mom, in-fact some of my 300l academic session fee's are still outstanding (not talking of engineering parents Levi)
With those few points I believe it's better for me to drop-off ,at least I have been to university and can write and speak fluently.
As to reducing the burden on my mom's shoulder, so she can focus on my other siblings, as for now this pandemic has been hell for us, because the proprietor of her haven't paid them for (march to July) salary because student's are not in school and situation might get worse when federal tertiary institutions resume and we start demanding for outstanding fees, not just now what of 400l and 500l?
Help me think about this and drop your suggestions on the comment box, but for me I think the odd for for me truncating my schooling is 70% , should have started preparing for it but I recently came across a post by Richdad50 that says "Life is the consequence of a series of choices you make. If you make good choices, you wont have a bad life. If you make bad choices, you cant have a good life. Take as long as you need to make your decisions. Dont be rushed, because you’ll live with the consequence"
So I needed for minds in other not to live with regret.

My own advice on this is taken from Matthew 23:23 the last part of it.

in summary, finish your school before you go into FULL farming business.

You can be doing the farming small small for now.

Get you younger one that will help you, when you are through, make sure you help him also.

The Muslim people say Jesus is just a prophet like other God's Prophets.

What I'm saying is that Jesus at some point is less than man and Angel.

The following are the areas that somebody like antichristian, Maximus/maxInDHouse, Janosky and thier friends are holding onto. They have refused to look at other areas.

It is heart breaking to see any person or group of persons deliberately opposing every single truth of God's word and yet draw large followership. Are people this gullible? Where did they keep their brains.

Yet another absurd teaching by these religious group known as Jehovah Witness is that God will not hold you accountable for the sins you commit on earth. They claim that as soon as you die, you will be free from all your sins. That Judgment day will last for 1,000 years because the Bible said that a day in the sight of God is like 1,000 years and vice versa.

I don't want to divert attention to the issue of how long the judgment will last. If they teach that the sins you commit today doesn't matter, then we are free to live our lives anyhow we choose. Even pagan religion won't teach this. Are their members really aware of this doctrine?

Below is the excerpt from their book, 'You can live forever in paradise on earth' (page 175).

'We can be sure that Christ will be fair and just in his judgment. A prophecy regarding him at Isaiah 11:3, 4 assures us of this. So, contrary to popular opinion, he will not judge persons on the basis of their past sins, many of which may have been committed in ignorance. The Bible explains that at death a person is set free or released from any sins he has committed. It says: "He who has died has been acquitted from his sin." (Romans 6:7) This means that when a person is resurrected he will be judged on the basis of what he does during Judgment Day, not on what he did before he died.'

But this is contrary to what the Scripture teaches. The Bible says;

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

The verses speaks for themselves. Please beware of the false teachings of Jehovah Witness. They are agents of darkness disguised as ministers of light. They oppose and subvert every truth of God's word.

The organization's goal is to rubbish the Word of God...

They have failed,....they told them to hate Christians.

They denied being Christians in the past. It's surprising that they are now claiming to be true Christians.

They so much hate Christians to the point of not allowed to sing any Christian song.

The government of the antichrist would force all religions to be united.

Science would greatly distracts people on Earth so that they won't read religious meanings to what had happened.

The false prophets that are going to work for the antichrist with great wonders/signs won't allow church goers to believe that rapture has taken place.

Those who are not going to receive the mark and do not die will join Jesus and the saints as they will come to take rulership from the antichrist.

The antichrist will organise all the armies on the earth to fight against this takeover, ( i.e WAR OF ARMAGEDDON).


ARMAGEDDON is the war that will be organized to stop Jesus' 1000 years reign on Earth.

While the war of GOG AND MAGOG is the war that will come at the end of Jesus' 1000 years reign on Earth.

"Is the Bible a fairy tale?"

The charge that the Bible is nothing more than a fairy tale or a book of nice stories is not new. The Bible is undoubtedly the most impactful book the world has ever known, transforming innumerable lives. Why, then, would the question whether or not the Bible is a fairy tale be a legitimate one in the hearts of many around the world?

From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, we read the story of God's eternal design to redeem a fallen world. With God as its inspiring Author, the Bible is the world's greatest work of literature, and throughout the ages multitudes have spent their lives proclaiming its truth. Many, in fact, have made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may simply hold in their hands a copy of its pages. Nevertheless, there has never been a book that has been as viciously attacked as the Bible. The Bible has been banned, burned, mocked, ridiculed and defamed. Many have been put to death for simply possessing a Bible. But still the idea that the Bible is a fairy tale persists.

The "prince of this world" has been blinding people to the truth since the beginning of time. He began his "work" on earth by calling God’s words into question (Genesis 3:1-5), and he has been doing so ever since. Everywhere we look, false teaching is rampant—on television and radio, in books and magazines, in our schools and universities, and sadly, even in our churches and Christian colleges, the very places where the truth of God's Word should most vigorously be defended. When children are taught that our ancestors crawled out of the ocean eons ago, have we not relegated creation and Adam and Eve to fairy tale status? It's the same thing when scientists and academicians tell us we are wasting our time searching for the "mythological" Noah’s Ark.

In fact, when many in the church, in order to placate the academic world, allow for a reinterpretation of the book of Genesis to accommodate modern evolutionary thought, the message sent to the world is that the Bible, apparently, means something other than what its simple, ordinary words convey. When the supernatural events of the Bible are dubbed as allegory by naturalists, it is understandable how those who have never studied the Bible can be confused as to its truth. For those who have never availed themselves of the truth of God's Word, how likely are they to believe in a talking donkey or a fish swallowing a man and spitting him out on the shore or a woman turning into a pillar of salt?

However, the Bible is most assuredly not a fairy tale. In fact, the Bible was "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16), and this essentially means God wrote it. Its human authors wrote from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21). That’s why this divinely woven text of nearly three quarters of a million words is perfect in harmony from start to finish and contains no contradictions, even though its sixty-six books have forty different authors from different walks of life, written in three different languages and taking nearly sixteen centuries to complete. How possibly could we have this amazing congruity if it wasn't for God guiding the authors' hands? We could not; it’s that simple. A righteous God would never inspire error. A just God would not call error-filled Scripture "holy and true." A merciful God would not state that His Word is perfect if it were not, and an omniscient God could write it so that it is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.

Time and again, the historicity of the Bible has been confirmed by biology, geology, and astronomy. And although the Bible may not always agree with naturalistic hypotheses, it is not in conflict with any true, established scientific facts. In archaeology, the last one hundred years have brought to light a treasure trove of biblical truths that scholars have questioned or doubted for centuries, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, the basalt stone containing the "House of David" inscription, a 7th century BC amulet scroll bearing the name of God, and a stone bearing the name and title of Pontius Pilate, the Judean governor who ordered the execution of Jesus Christ. The Bible is without doubt the best documented book from the ancient world, with more than 24,000 whole or partial biblical manuscripts in existence. No other document of antiquity has nearly as much evidence to confirm its reliability.

Another attestation to the Bible's divine authorship is the vast number of detailed biblical prophecies that have come true exactly as foretold. We see the psalmist, for example, telling of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ nearly a thousand years before it occurred (Psalm 22), and hundreds of years before crucifixion was even invented! Simply put, it would be impossible for human beings to have seen so far into the future with such precision and accuracy hundreds of times. Indeed, it would be completely illogical to believe these proven prophecies are anything other than the work of God. Incidentally, and amazingly, probability experts tell us the mathematical odds of just forty-eight prophecies regarding one person (i.e. Christ) coming true as foretold are one in ten to the 157th power!
[/b]But the greatest proof that the Bible is not a fairy tale is the countless number of lives that have been transformed by the truths contained in its pages. Used by the Spirit of God, the holy truths of the Bible have turned millions of sinners into saints. Drug addicts have been cured by it, homosexuals set free by it, derelicts and deadbeats transformed by it, hardened criminals reformed by it, sinners rebuked by it, and hate turned to love by it.[b] No amount of reading "Cinderella" or "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" can effect such change on the soul of man. The Bible does possess a dynamic and transforming power that is only possible because it is truly God's Word.

In light of the foregoing, the greater question, then, is how could someone not believe in these convincing, God-breathed, error-free, life-transforming truths? Unfortunately, the answer is actually an easy one. God has said that if we do not open our hearts to Him, He will not open our eyes to the truth. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would teach us (John 14:26) and guide us into truth (John 16:13). And the truth of God is found in the Word of God (John 17:17). Thus, to those who believe, these sacred words are life itself, but, to those without the Spirit, the Bible is nothing but foolishness (1 Corinthians 2:14).

The Belgian congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses attended a hearing yesterday in criminal court in response to charges of discrimination based on religious beliefs and incitement to hatred. It is the first time that the Jehovah’s Witness are being tried in a criminal court anywhere in the world.

The congregation, which is based in Kraainem, is being given several months to prepare their case; the trial begins next February. The case follows a five-year investigation by a court magistrate in Ghent in response to complaints filed by Patrick Haeck, an ex-member.

“It’s an important precedent,” Haeck told VRT. “How is it possible that a religious community can commit a crime under the guise of freedom of religion?”

Haeck was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses for 35 years and was an elder – someone with considerable authority within his local congregation in Ghent. When he exposed a case of sexual abuse within the congregation, he was officially shunned.

‘Shunning’

Jehovah’s Witnesses use shunning as a tactic to keep members from being disloyal to the group, he claims. “It’s worse than just being excluded,” Haeck told Het Nieuwsblad. “From the highest levels of the organisation comes the order that no one is allowed to talk to you, not even your own family. They declare that this person must be avoided because they have a mental illness that is contagious.”

Several more former Witnesses have joined the complaint, and stories have flowed out from former members who have been shunned. Cecile Temmerman was a Witness for 35 years when her son began to ask critical questions of the congregation's elders.

“I knew hundreds of people in the congregation; almost every day someone came over to visit,” she told Het Nieuwsblad. “From one day to the next, everyone turned their back on me.” She means that literally and figuratively: Witnesses physically turn away from members who are being shunned.

‘In the hands of Satan’

“At a meeting, everyone was warned that my family was in the hands of Satan,” continued Temmerman. “I had literally no one left in my life; the Witnesses make sure that you have no social contact outside the organisation – including family. Even my very best friend wouldn’t speak to me any more. I sank into a depression.”

The prosecutor in Ghent is bringing four charges again the Belgian congregation: for inciting discrimination on the basis of religious beliefs against a person and against a group, and inciting hatred or violence against a person and against a group.

While Jehovah’s Witnesses have been the target of civil court cases before, this is the first time an entire congregation has ever been charged with a crime. Haeck hopes this will set a precedent in other countries.

“Not only for Jehovah’s Witnesses but other religious organisations as well,” he said. “There is a strict separation of church and state. Now that there is more attention being paid to religious extremism, we have to ask ourselves where we draw the line, at what point the state must become involved.”
