Tell somebody the story of the cross and you will see the power of God in manifestation.

Jesus said if you don't believe that he is HE you shall die in your sins.

He made this statement because the people were furious that He is claiming to be God.

Of course, any time He says I am the son of God, He's saying I am God.

When Jesus said that the only person that is good is God.

He later declared that He is God because He is good.

Jesus asked the man question ' why did you call me good? '

' are you trying to tell me that you are aware I am God?

because only God is good!

Even though the Angel visited Cornelius, he didn't preach Jesus Christ to him but he told him to send for Peter.

Evangelism is All Believers Ministry (ABM).

A. NOBODY IS SAVED (DECLARED FREE
FROM GOD'S ANGER) THROUGH GOOD
DEEDS:Acts 10: 1-48


everybody around Cornelius agreed that he's a good man.


Heaven noticed his good deeds. But he (cornelius) had not known Jesus, the chief/perfecter/certifier of good deeds.

Nobody to tell him abIout it/him. An angel was sent to tell him that Peter has to come and say something.

Peter came and preached Jesus' birth, death and resurrection to him/them.

Something spectacular happened that day!

If he had rejected Jesus, he will be denied eternal life; his good deeds notwithstanding.

At best his good deeds will be rewarded back to him on Earth here, but not here.

It's for the same reason (good deeds without Jesus) that the PEOPLE OF OTHER RELIGIONS will be denied eternal life. No matter how good they are.

But I discovered that it's very difficult for good people to reject Jesus, the chief/perfecter/certifier of good deeds.

Cornelius is an example and the Ethiopian eunuch.

For the sake of one ready person,
the Ethiopian eunuch, God had to terminate Philip's crusade in Samarian. Acts 8:20-30.

In summary,

good deeds - (minus) Jesus = self righteousness x;

good deeds + Jesus or JESUS + good deeds = eternal life ✓

The happenings in Cornelius case is one of the things that give me deeper understanding of the message of salvation.

KNOWMORE56, if the Apostle Paul hadn't had an encounter, do you think he could have join the christian faith and became the greatest champion of the christian faith? No! Remember he was a highly learned lawyer and he was vast in the knowledge of other religions. He had it all. All he needed in order to 'see' the right track was a forceful encounter. I may or may not belief the story but, i am citing it for you to get to my point. I belief that GOD exists. But the way to him is my worry. I investigated so many religion only to discover lies, deceits and borrowed doctrines in all of them. Unless you are telling me to overlook those flaws and get in the car like you analysed.

Do you know that till date Jesus still appears to sincere people?


I was with one brother Zana in East of naija. He was born into a Muslim family.


He's an intelligent man who finished his higher education with good grades.


His people offered him scholarship to go abroad and write books against Christianity that they (christians) are worshipping idols.

He accepted. And advised himself to 1st of all read the gospel of Jesus Christ for him to have idea of what he's going to write against.

On the process of reading/studying the gospel he got confused about who is the true way to God; that's between Mohammed and Jesus Christ.

He then said 'God, please help me to know who among the two is the true way to you, I swear that I will follow the way you'll show me to be the truth'

That very night Jesus appeared to him and told him to follow the gospel.

In the morning he called his wife and told her about the encounter.

The wife deserted him and went back to her father's house with the kids.

They decided to kill Zana but God help him out.

He remained a Christian, separated from the wife and children till he died.

I said you will not be the last to have an encounter once He notices your sincerity.

This Paul did not stay aloof from religion. He's deeply rooted in Judaism, thinking that is the only way to the true God.

God who understands what is in the heart of men, knows what he (Paul) can do should he know the truth.

God's judgement/prediction is correct as we all witness his devotedness.

The best way to understand something is to get involved yourself.

This is one of the reasons I love Jesus.

In order to understand what is like human beings on sinful earth, He came as human being.

It's only in things of God human beings ask for proofs.

Somebody wants to be mobile, but he's asking what vehicle will he go for.

Different people using different vehicles have given their voices, each person wants him to get his type.

He then asked for reasons why he should get your type of vehicle.

One said his
brand is the 1st to exist and others are just trying to copy.

Another one said his brand is the fastest and flexible.

Another one said his brand can serve you and your children generation.

Others gave their own.

The primary purpose of vehicle is for easier movement compared to going about on foot.

he said no. How is he going to understand these things without being involved?

This verse is also the most quoted.

In John 3:16 we have all the words that form the word GOSPEL: acronym

G= God
O= Only
S= Son
P= PERISH
E= Everlasting
L= Life

i.e GOD ONLY SON PERISH ( that humanity should have) EVERLASTING LIFE.

whoever believes this he's saved.

From that moment it's expected of him to start living the new life in CHRIST.

The new life is that if you used to steal don't do that again, and many more to come.

*. Ephesians 4:28 "KJV: LET HIM THAT STOLE STEAL NO MORE: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

In summary, EVERYTHING about you must change.



It is all about Jesus Christ: His birth, death burial and resurrection.

Telling somebody this story destroys the power of Satan, sin and self in the lives of them who believe it.

I want to know and worship God, i know he exists. i would do everything to be led to him. have investigated almost every religious body and order recommended to me and instead of finding God, i became confused and disillusioned the more. Then i met a professor at the university of portharcourt who is a philosopher and an atheist he dismissed my worries with sound logic and dispelled the notion of god i felt at home. i became a philosopher and would use logic to wave away god and religion. Few weeks ago, i saw this proff libating to odin the god of pirates! (he is a seadog) I was startled. I felt betrayed and alone, these men have some form of god they reverence! I resolved to seek god wherever he may be found. Note that My search for god is not for material or health benefit or for socialisation. It is my soul yearning to be one with the ultimate reality. I cant believe that with all my wealth and connections i would still experience this empty aching feeling, this void, this yearning... I need GOD!!!

My own submission:


since you have read about many religious Gods and you have not picked up one

or you want to be sure before you pick up one, do the following:

list/write down all their names, as many as you know/can remember,

put the list before you and speak loudly with all seriousness of purpose, saying

I WANT TO KNOW THE ONLY TRUE GOD, WHICH OF YOU IS IT, SHOW YOURSELF NOW!

Be silent or listen quietly for some minutes,

continue day and night until the 'vacuum' in your heart is filled.


I am very very sure that there has never been a time somebody, who is very SINCERE, have ever groaned/yearned for the ONLY TRUE GOD without HIM showing up.


You will not be the last... provided you are SINCERE!

My annoyance with the christian folks is the way they carry on about Jesus. Why are you guys so convinced that Jesus is the way to GOD? For some, Jesus is GOD! @VLTA, i do not spite the Bible as it is a holy book revered by some. But you have to understand that there are numerous religions on Earth with millions of humans as adherents. Telling someone like me to come to Jesus straight off, bespeaks ignorance and selfishness on your part. I would like you to dispossess yourself of your beliefs for sometime and take time to diligently investigates religion in it's entirety and see if you will still cling to christianity.

WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO CONVINCED THAT JESUS IS THE WAY TO GOD?

The answers to this question will be long, but let me try and cut it short.


1. JESUS, the name that shakes the powers in the heavens above, earth and under the earth.

2. Through this name, occult grand masters have renounce their activities;


robbers have dropped their guns by telling them about Jesus;


dangerous/deadly idols have been destroyed through prayers in this name.

prostitutes gave up their business for hearing about this name.


Among all these numerous religions, which one of them can make a sinner change his/her ways without any punishment?


2. Beyond all things, what keep me/others going as a Christian/Christians is
the experience/encounter we have.

How can anyone here remove my experience from me?!

I know who I was and I know who I am now, who among you can stop me from this.


3. The testimony/witness from 2-3 people is believed to be true;

Judaism, Christianity and Islam agree that there is someone call Jesus with followers.

Two out of the three agree He's coming again,

two out of the three agree He came to show, thee way

all the three agree that He did some miracles.

Which other characters in the entire religions of the earth have such multiple witnesses?

4. The seal of approval upon Him is the resurrection from the dead.

The verse above is saying that the sign/seal/convinction/confirmation God gave to all men about Jesus is the resurrection from the dead.

Nobody anywhere have ever called on Jesus and got disappointed!
