Any discerning human with common sense knows the campaign was aimed at GEJ to kick him out of his nonchalant attitude. Now the nonchalant man is gone, it only makes sense to patiently wait and see what the new leader would do before any campaigns are resumed. This is all common sense and has nothing to do with hypocrisy (except you do not know the meaning of the word itself). Besides, the mess was created by GEJ due to his nonchalance, why would you expect GEJ's replacement to be fried for GEJ's indiscretions even when he has barely taken over the government?

The campaigne was intensified during Gej era because there was nonchallant attitude on the matter but the present goverment is taking the matter more serious.....there may be some politics involved though, poeple are not to be trusted that much

seriously the number of disasters that has happened in 1 wk is crazy. asides bona haram, the number of petrol tankers that have killed people in different parts of Nigeria in one wk is weird.
In Onitsha,In Akure, At Iyana Ipaja petrol tankers are crashing into public places and killing people. All in 1 week of inauguration.

NO fewer than 10 persons were killed and several others injured yesterday as a trailer reportedly lost control and rammed into a market at Owena, a boundary town between Osun and Ondo states.

Also, Osun State coordinator of Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Special Marshal programme, Chief S. O. Adewale, was crushed to death in the same area.

Findings revealed that the trailer was heading for Akure, Ondo State, from Ilesha in Osun State when its brake system developed fault, and the driver manoeuvred the vehicle into a road side market along Ilesha-Akure Expressway.

Vanguard learned that many of the victims of the road accident were traders, artisans and drivers, all from neighbouring communities who usually come to transact businesses once a week on both sides of the expressway.

The trailer was said to have crushed many of the victims beyond recognition, while others were left with charred bodies.

Those who were reportedly rescued from the accident scene were rushed to the General Hospital in Ilesha, while those whose condition could not be redeemed were left at the scene.

The dead bodies were later removed from the scene by officials of FRSC from Ipetu-modu division and the police.

The accident resulted in a gridlock on the expressway, forcing motorists to use bush paths as alternatives.

Members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, mobilised themselves to clear the wreckage of the accident.

An eyewitness account said the driver of the trailer and his assistant disappeared into the crowd for fear of being lynched.

It could not be confirmed if they too sustained injuries in the crash, but some youths attempted to set the trailer on fire after the crash. They were stopped by some elders in the community.

FRSC’s comment
Contacted, Head of Operations of FRSC, Mr. Jones Malomo, said the crash was caused by brake failure.

Malomo, who confirmed that some people were killed, was, however, not categorical on the number of deaths recorded.

Hi,

I kinda searched on this topic today and fortunately I stumbled on this block. Had to register for this reason.
 You are certainly not alone and they are many others in the same situation you are in right now. I am personally one of them. I was so devastated today to an extent I had to take a day off work. The situation is so hurting.

I also have pre- dreams of people's difficult situations which always come to reality but usually, i wake up and intercede on their behalf. I've had dreams of accidents, death, lose of jobs, deportation from abroad and many more. I interceded with great faith, made vows and covenants on their behalf and everything came to live with a positive solution. I was so devastated today. I applied for a UK visa for the third time. Sowed a seed towards it. Fasted and prayed with great faith but to my greatest surprise, I was refused again. One thing I have realised is that God chooses to use you to bless and intercede for others which is a great thing. You are simply an intercessor and intercessors don't intercede for themselves rather are being interceded for. It's your destiny and you can't change it. It isn't about their "luck or less faith or your sins" that makes you not receive answers to your own prayers like someone stated here. It's about the plan of God!"Don't give up or feel bad about it. Just keep praying for others like you've always done. You need to talk to a servant of God. One you can trust and confide in. You're simply chosen by God for greater things. I know some men of God who have similar issues. After church services, we are asked to stretch our hands and pray for them. Have you noticed that some men of God pray for others to prosper, for good health, good life etc. but check them out, they look so forgotten. It doesn't mean they don't wish to be in a better situation but it's their calling and their turn around/help is supposed to come from God through appreciation from the people they prayed for. Also, when that time comes, your blessings will be unimaginable and your happiness will overflow. Just keep praying for grace and don't let your faith be shaken. God isn't sleeping.
