That was how one lady in my former hood came to look for me all the way to our new house.

She met my mom and told her to give her my number. I got a call in the evening, I just got back from work so stressed and tired. What I heard was “I want you to be in my bridal train”, I went all the way to look for you o, please you will join my train”.

I said no wahala, how much for the cloth and sewing all together. She said 13k . I told her flatly I couldn’t!!!

I was flat broke, I got a job I need to run with money . I no Dey do eye services for this life I come . Imagine after paying 13k, I will do hair, do makeup, buy bag and shoe to match up with the cloth. Which would run to 30k at the lowest.

I told her I could not , she begged and begged and later said I should bring in 10k. But I knew 10k isn’t the problem. Won’t I do hair and other things? Waste of my money at that hard time .

My mom said I should just try cos the lady came to look for me. Lol . I tell my mama say chin chin I don’t have to spend . Don’t make promises you can’t keep.

She even went to print my name among the bridal girls on the card program.

It's very easy to identify Nigerians espcially the Ibos
I can easily identify south Africans, Ethiopians and Kenyans. Talking about Nigerians like you mentioned above they like putting on pan slippers i live in Senegal if you see four Nigerian boys on the road all of are on pan slippers 3 among them is with dreadlock 2 with blinks but the locals always putting on shoes and during cold Jackets every one of em put on sneakers here. Secondly the way we talk and public behaviour we always want to be noticed talk too loud and shout...please don't be offended maybe when you travel out of Nigeria you will understand, I have been with Yorubas, Deltans, Benin guys here but the loudest and nosiest people causing problems here are the Ibos. 2 weeks ago an apartment occupied by Nigerians was raided by the police and why? because a neighbour called the police that they're making noise. If añ Ibo guy came to rent a room in your house in 2 weeks time he will bring 4 more of his brothers. Generally speaking its very easy to identify Nigerians very easy

It's obvious you want to argue just for the sake of arguing. For professionals, 60,000 pounds is nothing but for commoners of course, even 20k is good enough. I've had jobs where I made less than 18k a year, I'm now at a job where I'm making over 100k per year after taxes. Don't expect anyone to give you anything just because you think you deserve it, you've got to upgrade yourself and go get it. Instead of living in lalaland where you believe jobs like 60,000 pounds belongs only to CEOs, you better increase your network and get rid of whatever is holding you back in life. 2 Masters, years of experience as a professional and a network as strong as 5 day old eba, my guy I would be crazy to earn less than 60,000 pounds a year!

I have seen both sides and I can tell you that if you have good money please stay back and rough am well but only come at the last resort.

Now don't get it twisted...Nigerians make it big in the western countries cos of the suffering we have been exposed to.

I was amazed when citizens were begging me JJC to borrow them money and I was like WDFVK.

Life in naija is sweet...sweet ladies sweet culture, cheap quality food and lots more except crazy government and harsh living condition...you can owe house rent for months or have a place to run to for accomodation, manouver your ways with some bills but it's not the same outside..owe week rent and you are homeless...you work your ass out for every dime and it is so boring that people don't have time to socialize.

But the fact is that despite all these, Nigerians still excel cos our country has trained us with hardship so much that when you go out there you can't afford to mess up the opportunity.

If anyone abroad sends anyone as little as N5000 please thank that person very well.

Yes everyone would love to live there until they get there and find out it is a mirage. The biggest shame will be leaving there without achieving anything. That's the shame over one million Nigerians are living with in America. They can't come back because they are stuck. If you ask Americans to pay cash for their cars 99% of them won't be able to afford it. Americans are broke and miserable and 95% of them will die in debt. If in 2019 Nigerians don't know an average Nigerian is richer than a middle class American then they are the dumbest donkey on earth

Though we are all ladies, we prefer or want different things in a man, so it is relative. Most of our choices are dependent on age or maturity, background, environment sometimes religion.
Some ladies prefer good guys others want bad guys.
Some ladies wants a guy that will be all over them, some prefer a guy that wont be too attached to them or choke them.
Some want a man that is totally faithful to them, while some don't mind sharing a man with other ladies or becoming second or third wives
