I have read different versions of what happened in Bayelsa and it is painful to know that our media report based on what is shared on social media instead of going to crime scenes to investigate the story.

HERE IS WHAT I HAVE GATHERED SO FAR.


1. The killer is an Igbo guy, there's nothing like lodging with a fake ID or whatever. He's a brother from Enugu State. Nsukka precisely.

2. The lady was his ex Landlord's daughter.
3. They dated when the guy was in Bayelsa. They didn't really break up before he left, they've been in touch all these while.

4. He didn't kill her for ritual purpose.

5. Her breasts were not cut off and no other part of her body is missing.

6. There was a confrontation that led to a fight. He stabbed her during the fight.

7. He didn't flee the scene immediately, the first people that rushed to the scene met him. He was there when attempts to safe the girl's life were being made.

8. It was during the process that he disappeared, nobody knows when exactly.

9. That wasn't their first time in the hotel.

10. The lady is a well known slay queen that's very troublesome.

11. Bayelsa youths actually attacked Igbos and the policemen that came to stop them. Shops were looted and then set ablaze afterwards.

This what I know and my source is a friend to the furniture man that his shop was set ablaze because his apprentice was caught working while others have closed their shops.
