For the underguate here are some nuggets that has help me land a job not long after NYSC

1. During my undergraduate session, I worked on skillset and degree. I am working at a place with my skillset not my certificates. My certificates gave the public the education Al visibility. Seriously I developed myself in computer hardware and read a science course hoping to be a lecturer. But now the combination gave me a way in the telecom sector

2. Go for certification. It is an added advantage over the competition. There are beginners level certification that can give you a leverage over others.

3. Join an association. Visit local websites that can help you decide on your career.

4. Be career minded and not job limited. Set your self on self development.

5. Do a lot of networking. Create whataps group to keep in touch. A friend rejected a job and duly informed me cos he had anoda job presentation. That was my first job.

7. Be creative. It help establish and pay bills while waiting for your big break through.

8. PRAy! PRAY !! PRAy!!! Be in a covenant relationship ,it Keeps you connected to the Almighty who has more than the longest leg and see the big picture and lead you to breKthru

5. Cost of living can be negotiated. A friend of mine was offered a job at Port Harcourt. He negotiated his way as the cost of living i.e housing , transportation s, children school fees etc was higher than Lagos. The organisation added a large sum to cater for . When he was hired , he got to know his salary was higher than anyone on his level. Rather than starting on level 1, he was given a much higher level.

6. Watch YouTube videos on how to answer interview questions. You will learn much from it.

7. Pray. people could missed out cos the interviewer on the panel was having a bad day . He/she could have candidates. I heard from a friend who prayed and in the panel was a expriate the MD. The head of department wanted his candidate his town boy in. After offering his guy the job with lower pay ,the MD rejected it and insist that my friend should be given the Job with a higher pay. Prayers really work.

How to get out of depression,

1. Replay your past victory knowing that it has happen before and it is going to happen again to a greater dimension. Victory will happen again as the writer said I Would testify. Songs are veritable tools and weapon to constantly remind yourself of God goodness and His personality and works.

2. Focus on God. He is much bigger than your problem, even moreso He is much bigger than You. He sees the big picture. The whole entire picture is laid before him. Your destiny is only secured in Him.

3. Your problems are part of your story .. Your HIS-tory. Never give up in your soul cos your SOUL IS WHAT animates the BODY. Your soul is subjected to your Spirit where you allow GOD to minister.

4. Seek counselling from a mature person or a strong Christian especially those that have gone through this path and survive.

5, Your support Group i.e family and friend are key to helping you quickly out of this heavy spirit

6. If need be, where your faith can't carry it, seek medical help. Situation like death , terminal sickness are not easily handled by everyone.

7. Above all, believe God and pray. He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him.
