JohnSin97:Don’t support that abortion bro. We banter here but don’t let Nairaland online jokes/banters corrupt your mind. |
theTranscriber: ![]() Displacement ko, replacement ni…that’s yoruba word, isn’t it ? The name is Giannis Ugochukwu Antetokounmpo. Giannis is Greek Ugochukwu is Igbo Antetokounmpo is ? Ugochukwu…you can’t take that away. The name is awesome. Raw, unadulterated, pure, powerful. |
Mangekyo:Delusion finish you are your mates there. |
Mangekyo:Fixed. I’ve never seen anyone pray for his people to be killed daily. You must be a bigger fool than I imagined. |
Ariani:You sabi. Keep teaching and enlightening them. |
thebosstrevor1:It’s actually worse in the north. Kids of northern politicians try to out do each other. They race in exotic and expensive cars, expensive power bikes, show off screenshots of bank balances. Products of ill gotten wealth. Their old men stole the country dry. Their jobs are flaunting dirty money. |
theTranscriber:Why didn’t you mention Giannis Ugochukwu Antetokounmpo’s mum. Check the type of red oil you consume. You are too young to have dementia. |
Redoil:Too much expired and conjealed red oil in your skull. It’s not your fault that you are disoriented. |

Racism, tribalism and nationalism are all innate and like the black chimps, their actions could be checked by education and development of the mind. |

Arda1000:Ichi marks isn’t for people dedicated to any god. ‘Igbu Ichi’ was done by courageous and wealthy men at the time. It was purely a personal decision. It’s more like ichi ozo...not all Ozo title holders went for igbu ichi...I met a few people gbulu ichi as a child. You’d have to be well prepared for it. If you read F.C. Ogbalu books, he narrated the process of Igbu ichi. It’s a celebration of bravery and accomplishment. On the day, there’s lots of cooking and feast...with different nmanwu. The man is held down by many able bodied men...anaesthesia isn’t used. Onye na egbu ichi comes with his aguba knife and delivers series of vertical lines across the man’s face and series of horizontal lines as well, then herbs are applied to the cuts...look at your periodic table without the symbols. Ichi was like that. Professionals try to avoid the areas around the eyes. Scabs around the canthus causes squints. Normally one or two lines run down the forehead down the nasion and ends on the bridge of the nose...majority of the ichi are done on the sides of the face. |
Boudiccao:I never celebrated him. I don’t give a f*** where he came from. His action was unacceptable. Check that thread and verify. I commented on that. Verify before going on that victim mentality cruise. You are not the only Igbo person here. If others said any different on the revelation of his ethnicity, it only shows the hypocrisy in Nigeria. I didn’t support his action. I still don’t. |
Tranquillity360:‘We’ don’t need your friendship?....who are the ‘We’? You must be a joker. |
BeardedMeat:Before IPOB, there was MASSOB. There’s been BZM...Biafra Zionist Movement. Not a lot of people liked MAASOB and Uwazurike...The Zionist movement was met with same reaction. Not all Igbos see themselves as Jews. IPOB appealed to lots of people because of Kanu’s charisma and passion. Lots of people were there but at some point backed out due to the strategies and rhetorics. I don’t do insults and I know lots of Igbos who don’t. It is wrong. IPOB is too predictable. Convening the ‘ideal’ group isn’t the answer. Proliferation of secessionist group isn’t the answer. We can achieve Biafra without insults or fighting verbally with perceived enemies. Abba Kyari was at Obi Cubana’s mother’s funeral. IPOB hasn’t said anything about that but saboteurs are still been hunted down. |
Just to let you know that if that man was Fulani, the first people to unmask him would be Igbos living in Austria. Population of Igbos or IPOB in Austria is quite significant. The age range of Igbos in Austria/Switzerland who migrated from places like Athens are in their (30s-50s). This demographic is displeased with lots of things amongst them is why Nigeria with lots of potentials can’t have good leadership, good healthcare system, education and good transport network system. I think the same. Someone from Houston or London should be able to fly direct to Enugu/Owerri/Anambra without first landing at Abuja or Lagos...then down to the East... |
murphyibiam15:To be honest, I’m not interested in who he is. Someone sent me the video and my reaction here is same as my response to the individual who sent and shared the video with me. I didn’t think he was Fulani as reported by some blog sites. That man was on a suicidal mission. He didn’t care. Something must have triggered his aggression and reactions to the Nigeria team. You don’t need to be a psychologist to know or tell that his man isn’t happy with Buhari...unhappy is an understatement. He doesn’t like the colour green especially when lots of people wear it. It triggered something in him. If you doubt me, find this man, wear a Nigerian football shirt and pass by him. He will do you lots of harm. He doesn’t like Nigeria as a country. He uses the word ‘terrorist’ for Buhari. A Fulani man living in Europe wouldn’t do that...call it stereotype. A former player of Julius Berger, a Fulani, living in Europe, Buhari hater?? Com on...The likes of Garba Lawal wouldn’t do that. Infact if he has such pedigree, he’d be well off living large at government expense and probably be a part of national team technical crew. I’ve been around and met people like him. I met some who played in Malta, Cyprus, found themselves in Greece, got stuck there. Some found some degree of success, left Athens and migrated to Austria and Switzerland...one thing I noticed about them is their disdain for Nigeria and it’s embassies. I’m really not interested in that man...just saying that his action against the team was wrong. |
murphyibiam15:I never believed and still don’t believe that he is Hausa/Fulani. He claimed to have played for Julius Berger, then found himself in Europe working hard and probably has done well for himself. Tell us his name....let’s start from there. Who is he? Was he acting alone? What motivated him to jump inside a vehicle conveying the Falcons to unleash his frustrations on the team? What was he expecting them to do....keep quiet and swallow his tirade? Boycott the tournament they were going for? Who is he? |
BeardedMeat:You sound like the man in video. Our angers are channeled at the wrong places or expressed at the wrong time. We can do better. Our resources can be better used to achieve our dreams but present approaches are rocking our boat and preventing us from navigating in the right direction. That man’s action was unacceptable. I have been to IPOB meetings and what I saw discouraged me from attending or participating in them or with any of them. It has cost me time, energy and finances but I won’t do that anymore till they turn a new leaf. It’s not just me. I know lots of people, seasoned professionals in various fields who would contribute their time and finances voluntarily if IPOB were doing things correctly. I will say no more about this. Learn first not to insult people who disagree with you and have some ‘respect’ for those you perceive as enemies. The cost of ignorance and arrogance is devastating. |
