Ebonyi State is one of the top 3 scantiest State in Nigeria, house rent is as low as 10k for a room self contain, even 3 bedroom flat is not more than 50k.... By the time we get it wrong this time, maybe fuel would have reached 1000/litre and the security situation would so worsen that it will become almost impossible to go anywhere without being kidnapped or robbed.

Who wrote this garbage of an article? Nigeria's coolest month of the year is usually June/July, and that is the time the world cup is usually played, so we don't have to adjust the calendar for it.... Same as South Africa.

A few countries experiences their winter during June/July - almost all Southern African countries, plus Australia, New Zealand etc. So it is the perfect time to host the World Cup for these countries.

Also, a handful of Western African countries experience the same climate like Nigeria's.

The author should have been looking at other factors making it difficult for Nigeria to host, instead of climate.
